- Performed uncredited voice-overs for various "Bond girls" of early James Bond films. For the film Dr. No (1962), she provided the dubbed voices of several female characters, including Honey Ryder and Sylvia Trench, an assignment which earned her £150. Amongst those she did not dub, were Miss Moneypenny, Miss Taro, and a Chinese girl. Actresses in the Bond films she dubbed include Ursula Andress, Shirley Eaton, Eunice Gayson, and Claudine Auger. She also dubbed Raquel Welch's grunting in One Million Years B.C. (1966).

- She was the daughter of Anneliese (Less) and Rabbi Werner van der Zyl. Her family was German Jewish.
