He is doing great. Everyday he is in physical therapy. I’m cooking for him, he’s spending a lot of time with his children now, his family,” Carnie said. “I’m so happy he’s here tonight.” Brian appeared in a wheelchair at the red carpet event and was reunited with his Beach Boys bandmates David Marks, Al Jardine, Blondie Chaplin, Mike Love, and Bruce Johnston. Tatum O’Neal, in a poignant message to well-wishers days after the death of her father, actor Ryan O’Neal, offers a simple but heartfelt, “Thank you everyone for all your love and support,” she says in the Instagram video. “He’s in heaven now.” After a slight pause, the somber-looking Tatum reassures, “Yeah.”
The video, set to Anten’s dreamy, ambient-style instrumental “Hope To See You Again,” is accompanied by a written message: “Me & my kids loved you so much, daddy. You’ll forever be in my heart. Keep each other close, everyone. Life is a journey.”

Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen hoped his son Benjamin would have a great day at camp – but alas, the “Magic 8 Ball” predicted fun was not in the cards.
Cohen shared a video holding the toy, debating the name of it with Ben. “Ben what is this called?” he asked Ben holding the Magic 8 Ball.
Ben replied, “A meatball.”
Of course totally amused, Cohen smiled, “It’s not called a meatball silly. It’s called an 8 Ball.” Ben sweetly told his dad that he still preferred to refer to it as a meatball.

So Cohen wondered if he should ask the “meatball” if Ben was going to have fun at camp. Ben turned the large ball over off-camera and the meatball delivered a prediction.
“It says … very doubtful,” Cohen said reading the ball’s answer and looking frustrated.

Ams Pictures has released the trailer for its new documentary “Karen Carpenter: Starving for Perfection,” which celebrates the pop singer’s life and music as well as details her untimely death after struggling with anorexia nervosa.
The Carpenters were a top musical act in the 1970s with songs such as “Close to You” and “We’ve Only Just Begun.” However, Karen’s chase for perfection and struggle with the at-the-time vastly misunderstood eating disorder led to her death at age 32.
Using unreleased recordings and celebrity interviews – including with Olivia Newton-John, Cynthia Gibb, Suzanne Somers, Kristin Chenoweth, Carnie Wilson, Bob James and Carol Burnett – the documentary sheds light on the singer’s short life and musical legacy.
The documentary was directed by Randy Martin and produced and written by Randy Schmidt. Brad Osborne produced and edited the film, and Carnie Wilson (of the pop band Wilson Phillips) and Andy Streitfeld executive produced the documentary.

“The Masked Singer” aired a two-hour epic finale on Wednesday night, with Harp walking away with the Season 8 Golden Mask Trophy. She defeated Lambs in the first ever all-female final. Following their performances of “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan and “I Want to Know What Love Is” by Foreigner, we found out trio of wooly divas were multi-platinum girl group Wilson Phillips.
Prior to the Lambs big reveal, panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger submitted final guesses: Wilson Phillips (Robin and Nicole), The Chicks (Jenny) and Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian (Ken). Of course Robin and Nicole were correct in naming the group consisting of Chynna Phillips, Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson.

Colorful, chaotic character masks may be the great equalizer on “The Masked Singer,” but that doesn’t mean they’re all that easy to perform in. In fact, for season 8 runners-up the Lambs, holding their microphones with their hooves was about as easy as jumping out of a plane.
On Wednesday night’s finale, the Lambs came in second to the Harp, who was revealed to be “Glee” star Amber Riley. So, who were the Lambs? Well, as judge Robin Thicke guessed, the trio was none other than Wilson Phillips, the group best known for their song “Hold On.” But, according to the women, holding on to their equipment was no easy task in their costumes.
“Honestly, we might as well have been skydiving,” Carnie Wilson told TheWrap with a laugh. Her sister, Wendy Wilson, readily agreed, adding that the hooves weren’t even the hardest aspect of the costumes to maneuver.

Wilson Phillips’ last single was 2012’s “Good Vibrations,” which isn’t shocking considering it’s a cover of a song co-written by the father of two of the band’s members. But now the California trio have completely branched out for their first new song in 10 years: a rendition of Harry Styles’ “Boyfriends.”

At age 19, Chynna Phillips was just trying to get well.
The singer, who formed Wilson Phillips in 1986 with Carnie and Wendy Wilson, had struggled with drug and alcohol addiction throughout high school. As the trio cultivated their sound, learning together how to turn beautiful harmonies into thoughtful, original songs, she sought help.
“I was at a real crossroads in my life because I was still in a lot of pain over my ex-relationship, and I was just struggling to navigate through some pretty painful childhood experiences in therapy,” she says.

Nia Franklin of New York City was crowned Miss America on Sunday in the first pageant in the organization’s 98-year history without a swimsuit or evening gown contest.
Franklin earns a $50,000 scholarship, while Connecticut’s Bridget Oei was named first runner-up and earned a $25,000 scholarship.
But the post-#MeToo tweaks to the contest weren’t the only signs of change as politics reared their head throughout the competition.

Miss Michigan Emily Sioma eschewed the usual boastful or rah-rah self-introduction to deliver this pointed diss at her home state in the live broadcast Sunday night: “From a state with 84 percent of the U.S. fresh water, but none for its residents to drink, I’m Miss Michigan, Emily Sioma.”
During pre-broadcast competition on Friday, another contestant made a pointed remark about President Donald Trump.

With several outdated portions now distant memories, the 92nd Miss America competition crowned a new winner on Sunday in a two-hour parade of pumps, performances and (gasp!) pantsuits.
As previously mentioned, Sunday’s telecast introduced several “groundbreaking” changes into the competition: Not only were the contestants no longer judged by their appearances in swimsuits, but the traditional “evening gown” portion was also replaced with an invitation for the women to express themselves in a style of their choosing. Per a statement from the organization, these changes were implemented to help each contestant “highlight her achievements and goals in life, and...

Since debuting in 2005, Supernatural has become the longest-running sci-fi series in the history of U.S. television. That said, the show’s stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are more than just co-stars; they share a close bond like their on-screen characters of Dean and Sam Winchester. Thirteen years is a long time in Hollywood time, and in a recent interview on The Talk (watch the video above), the two recalled the first time they met each other at the audition for Supernatural — where no one else showed up.
The walk down memory lane started when The Talk guest co-host Carnie Wilson asked Padalecki the first time he met Jensen, which was at the audition.
“These network auditions are terrifying,” admitted Padalecki. “So we met, and we were kind of were sitting in the room like, ‘Where is everybody?’ And so we’re kind of waiting for other people to show up.

Carnie Wilson is opening up about her difficult struggle with postpartum depression, and sharing her story of support and hope with other mothers in a new documentary, When the Bough Breaks.
Wilson sat down with Mark Steines and Debbie Matenopoulos on Hallmark Channel's Home & Family, where she got candid about her own painful battle with postpartum depression following the birth of her first daughter, Lola, in April 2005.
"Part of the issue with postpartum is that women are afraid of their feelings and they're afraid that they're crazy," she shared. "They're scared when [they're having] what should be the most joyous and wonderful times of their lives, but they're feeling sad or they're feeling scared or they're feeling, in my case, psychotic."
