Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone is reportedly fighting for his life due to complications from sarcoidosis, a rare inflammatory disease.
All Hip-Hop reports that the 50-year-old rapper — whose real name is Anthony Henderson — checked himself into a Los Angeles hospital on Friday after he began coughing up large amounts of blood. After it was discovered that he had a bleeding artery in his lungs, Henderson reportedly underwent emergency surgery and is currently intubated on a breathing machine.
TMZ reports that the first surgery did not stop the bleeding, so he’s set to undergo a second procedure shortly.
Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s Bizzy Bone took to social media asking fans to, “Pray 4 Kray,” and also shared well-wishes from LeBron James and Juicy J, among others.
Consequence has reached out to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony representatives for more information.

A lawsuit filed Wednesday against rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony accused one of the group's members of attacking a Chicago man and his cousin after a Chicago concert this summer.
Joseph E. Zeidel accused Bryon McCane, better known as "Bizzy Bone," of hitting him and his cousin in the face and head while the two were on the band's tour bus after their show at the Congress Theater early on June 10. McCane's assault, the lawsuit claims, caused Zeidel to sustain a fracture, cut nose, broken glasses and other injuries, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Zeidel had paid a promoter of the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony tour $80 in order for him and his cousin to hang out on the rap group's tour bus. The two commenced to spend about a half hour on the bus before McCane allegedly started to harass them.
As they were reportedly leaving the bus, McCane then struck both men.

Tiger Woods' former mistress Rachel Uchitel will be in good company when she checks into TV show Celebrity Rehab later this week (ends23Jul10) - the facility will be full of recent headline makers.
Joining her on the reality TV show, hosted by celebrity counsellor Dr. Drew Pinsky, will be Jeremy London, Jason Wahler and former teen idol Leif Garrett.
Actor London recently hit the news when he reported he'd been kidnapped and forced to buy drugs and alcohol for a gang of youths in Palm Desert, California; reality TV bad boy Wahler was arrested and booked for misdemeanour battery in June after allegedly assaulting a woman at a party in Hollywood, California, and Garrett faces jail time after he was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin in February.
The troubled stars fighting their drink and drugs demons at the Pasadena Recovery Center, where Celebrity Rehab is filmed, will be joined by fashion icon Janice Dickinson and oil heir Jason Davis, among others.
It is not known whether previously announced rehab-mates Bonnie Pointer, Tila Tequila and rapper Bizzy Bone will be part of the new show.
Producers initially feared they would have to scrap the season after failing to net enough star names. They reportedly offered Lindsay Lohan and Liza Minnelli big deals to appear on the show. Both stars turned them down.

TMZ is reporting that Bizzy -- real name Bryon McCane -- has agreed to join Dr. Drew Pinsky's VH1 show to help with his addiction to marijuana and alcohol.
Other celebrities who have signed on include hot mess Tila Tequila (who apparently snorts Ambien and Twitters all day long) and possibly "Laguna Beach" star Jason Wahler. Platinum Rapper On Board for 'Celebrity Rehab'
TMZ has learned Celebrity Rehab is all set to add another star to its cast -- "Bone Thugs-n-Harmony" rapper Bizzy Bone.
We're told Bizzy - real name Byron McCane -- wants to seek treatment for an addiction to marijuana and alcohol.
As we've previously reported, the producers behind the VH1reality show starring Dr. Drew have been on a mission to lock down a cast -- and fast ... or else the show could be in danger.
If the show survives -- Bizzy could join Tila Tequila and Jason Wahler inside the rehab facility.

Travis Barker, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Birdman and more appear on tape dropping Monday.

The Game's anticipated The Red Room mixtape comes out on Monday (April 26). Though it was originally slated to be a special Gangsta Grillz edition mixtape with DJ Drama, Game made an 11th-hour switch and went back to his playa potna DJ Skee, who has been a part of several Game mixtapes over the years.
Skee contributed production to the mixtape as well, making a "Skeemix" of the Compton native's controversial "400 Bars." Travis Barker lends his drums to a remix of the Cool and Dre-produced "Shake."
Game has no shortage of fire power elsewhere in the mixtape. Diddy appears on "Heartbreak Hotel," and Nipsey Hussle raps on the freestyle "Ha Ha," which uses Fat Joe's "Slow Down" beat. Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, The Birdman, Jim Jones,...

On the heels of releasing their ninth group project, this time featuring all five members together, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony realized the endurance that kept them together all these years was exactly what they needed to deliver their new album.
The Cleveland collective is currently touring to promote their forthcoming Uni-5: The World's Enemy without charismatic member Bizzy Bone, who opted out of the trek because of a financial dispute. Wish Bone, though, said being back onstage trumps any trouble, albeit temporary, that might have arisen between the group.
"For us to be able to go out and sell tickets and people to want to come see us, we thank God for that, first and foremost," he said. "It's been a rough road.

On Friday, those who loved him as a person and had a affinity for his raw music celebrated the life and musical impact of one of the godfathers of gangster rap, Eric "Eazy-e" Wright. It has been 15 years since the N.W.A founder passed away, from complications of AIDS, and everyone from The Game and Plies to our own Sway Calloway and Eazy-e's oldest son, Lil Eazy-e, shared memories and spoke of Wright's impact.
It's only right that as this celebration continues, we hear from one of Eazy's artists. Bizzy Bone sent in a short message he dedicated to his mentor:
Without E, I wouldn't be. He gave me life in the industry. Though they disregard, I still remember the sarge. The general of the fam, li'l man, the boss, also no mirage. We can clearly see. Eazy-e, Eric Wright, R.I.P. I thank you, E, for all you have done for me.

The song features appearances by a number of artists including Janet Jackson, Justin Bieber, Jordin Sparks, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Pink — along with some newly added artists who won't be revealed until the remake airs. But while we wait for the debut of the Haiti benefit, organized by Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones, we have a preview from the people behind the song.

The video of "We Are the World: 25 for Haiti" premiered Friday night (February 12) during the opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The new incarnation of the 1985 song sticks closely to the arrangement of the original, but the cast is much larger and, of course, much more contemporary.
On television, the song was introduced by a message from original "We Are the World" principals Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones, who urged viewers to contribute via World25.org, iTunes or by texting "World" to 50555.
A tightly edited version of the video was aired on Friday night, but the long version is available now on iTunes.

Never in a million years would you imagine pop princess Miley Cyrus singing alongside the soulful Natalie Cole, or even American Idol (TV) judge Randy Jackson belting it out next to Couple's Retreat (2009) Vince Vaughn. But it did. It all went down Monday night, at famed producer Quincy Jones' studio in La, to benefit the earthquake in Haiti. Everyone from the Jonas Brothers to Faith Evans showed up to lend their vocals to "We Are the World" remix. 25 years ago, Quincy Jones, Lionel Richie and the late Michael Jackson rallied an insane number of famous singers, actors, and performers to lay the tracks for 'We Are the World" written by Richie and Jackson and produced by Jones. The year was 1985 -- big hair was a must have, neon colors drove the fashion industry, and in one La music studio history was made. To help stop famine in Africa,...

Los Angeles — The energy was electric Monday night (February 1) at Henson Studios as more than 80 of music's biggest stars gathered for a charity remake of "We Are the World" in support of Haitian earthquake relief.
"I feel like a kid in a candy store," Wyclef Jean said, speaking to the press about the idea of remaking such an iconic song, which is getting production help from RedOne and Will.I.Am. "What's bigger than a contribution is that you lend your voice," the Haitian native said earlier in the day to his peers while trying to inspire them during the session, which began around 3 p.m. and lasted well into the night.

Los Angeles — When it came time to record the 25th-anniversary remake of "We Are the World," the legendary African-famine relief benefit's co-writer and producer, Lionel Richie, said he wanted to approach the project from a modern perspective. That might explain why none of the singers from the 1985 single were in the house for Monday night's marathon sessions, which took place in the same studios where the original song was laid down.
Instead of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper and the late Michael Jackson (whose previously recorded voice, however, will be heard on the tune), the 2010 version will be headlined by Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Wyclef Jean, Josh Groban and Will.I.Am. iPhones, Twitter, green-screen technology, BlackBerries, Facebook ... and hip-hop acts. Those are some things that were not around for the recording of the original "We Are the World" in 1985.
Stars including Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and dozens more — even actor Dan Aykroyd — joined in for the superstar collective. They created a great song — one that to date has raised and distributed more than $63 million to 18 countries in sub-Saharan Africa in emergency relief and development projects. Granted, at the time, hip-hop was in its early days.

It's fitting that MTV's Woman of the Year is going to cap off a tremendous 2009 by playing one of the most anticipated New Year's Eve shows in the country. Lady Gaga's December 31 show at the James L. Knight Center in Miami Beach is currently the hottest New Year's Eve ticket on the market, according to "Extra," despite ticket prices that range from $425 to $25,000. The show has already sold a reported $1 million in tickets.
But Gaga isn't the only star ringing in the new year from the stage. She joins a cavalcade of bold names who will hoist some bubbly on Thursday, including Mariah Carey, Adam Lambert, John Mayer, reunited jam band Phish, Maroon 5 and psychedelic astronauts the Flaming Lips.

For every vocalist to bask in the glow of fame, there's a producer or two lurking in the shadows. Often unrecognized, often under-appreciated, these unsung heroes are worthy of more than mere recognition, but genuine praise. Now, realize that not every producer is confined to a supportive role, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, and Kanye West are just a few producers who enjoy the spotlight on a day to day basis. Realize also however, that every aforementioned name also handles a microphone pretty damn well, and has built a reputation doing so.
What of those who don't necessarily spend a wealth of time recording vocals? Do they not merit extreme exposure, and endless praise? I think they do; that's the reasoning behind this Rapped And Tagged spin off Producers Corner.

In less than a year and a half Intrinzink Records has launched a powerhouse of a mixtape collection. Appropriately titled the “Underground Hustlin” series, Intrinzink Records puts both promising underground artists as well as many marquee names on display. Each mixtape is packed to capacity with a diverse variety of sounds, horrorcore of course being the key focal point of each compilation. But for those not so keen on the darker side of hip hop, there are some more tame (or should I say sane) tracks to sort through.
Those who follow the underground scene meticulously will appreciate some excellent cuts from such prospects as Epitaph, J.Hexx, Grewsum, Fury, Heavy Hittaz, Intrinzik, Virus, Jason Porter and more. Amongst all the up-an-comers featured, there are also plenty of “household names” for those who prefer to invest their interests in already established artists.
