After the Canadian band released “Blame Brett” in May 2023, the song went viral on TikTok and has since charted at 17 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart. Their appearance comes in support of last fall’s accompanying album, Blame My Ex, and the quartet gives a rousing rendition of the song on Kimmel.
The Beaches have several dates left on their 2024 tour in support of Blame My Ex. In addition to a Bonnaroo appearance and several dates opening for girl in red this spring, The Beaches have shows in Denver, Minneapolis, Brooklyn, Boston, and their native Toronto on the docket.
