‘The Marvels’ was undoubtedly last year’s biggest MCU flop, losing a staggering amount of money. This prompted significant changes across the board, with Bob Iger emphasizing the need for the studio to focus on quality and reduce their creative output.
However, the movie also initiated promising developments, such as the ‘Young Avengers’ project, hinted at by Kamala’s efforts to recruit younger superheroes.
The post-credits scene of ‘The Marvels’ features Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel recruiting Kate Bishop into her new initiative. Kamala also inquires about Cassie Lang, who, as seen in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,’ goes by the alias Stature. The rumored members of the Young Avengers also include Skaar (Hulk’s son), Wiccan, Speed, America Chavez, Kid Loki, Ironheart, Toussaint, Patriot, and Love from ‘Thor: Love and Thunder.’

‘The Marvels’ was definitely last year’s biggest MCU flop. The movie lost an eye-watering amount of money and kickstarted some great changes across the board, with Bob Iger himself commenting that the studio needs to focus on quality Asap reducing their creative output.
But the movie did also kickstart great things, for example, the ‘Young Avengers’ project which was teased by Kamala’s initiative as she tries to recruit younger superheroes.

Agatha remains one of Marvel Studios' most intriguing upcoming projects, particularly with it serving as a follow-up to 2021's critically acclaimed WandaVision.
Nexus Point News has today shared new intel on the show's characters, starting with Joe Locke's Billy. They believe the plan is to reveal his true identity as the teenage son of Wanda Maximoff later in the series, making it a huge moment for non-comic book readers.
Aubrey Plaza is Rio Vidal, one of Agatha's antagonists, while Patti LuPone is Lilia Calderu, Sasheer Zamata is Jennifer Kale, and Ali Ahn is Alice Wu.
Miles Guiterrez-Riley, meanwhile, is said to be playing Eddie, Billy's boyfriend. Likely to disappoint fans is the fact it doesn't sound like he has any connection to Teddy Altman, a.k.a. Hulking. Perhaps we'll meet him down the line; then again, it could be that Bruce Banner's son first introduced in She-Hulk...

There are very few things in life that bring a person the utmost joy while delivering a sense of purpose at the same time. The Marvel Cinematic Universe tapped into that sense of purpose and Avengers: Endgame was its culmination. With billions of fans screaming, hollering, hooting, and wailing, the 22nd film in the MCU was a phenomenon worth its weight in tears, an event worth living through, and a tale worth retelling for generations to come.

There have been rumors about a solo Hulk project being in the works in the MCU, specifically World War Hulk, which makes sense given the number of Hulk allies and antagonists that have begun populating the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Liv Tyler will be returning to the MCU as Betty Ross. Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross will now be played by Harrison Ford. The Leader, one of the Hulk’s most notorious villains, is set to make his debut in the MCU as well. The Abomination still roams free (albeit reformed).
Mark Ruffalo as Hulk in a still from Thor: Ragnarok
We also know that Hulk’s half-alien son Skaar exists in the MCU, making his debut in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Given that so many Hulk characters now populate the MCU, World War Hulk rumors have picked up some steam in the past few months.

In 2023, Marvel Studios faced setbacks with their movies, a crucial year meant to launch the next saga and introduce Kang the Conqueror. Two out of three releases flopped, and ‘Secret Invasion’ was harshly criticized, deemed one of the worst MCU shows on Disney+.
Bob Iger acknowledged the need for quality over quantity amidst record-low profits. Consequently, the 2024 release lineup is modest, with ‘Deadpool 3’ likely the sole movie. Other projects like ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ and ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ faced delays and reshoots. The SAG-AFTRA strike further hampered production across the MCU.
Despite these challenges, ‘Young Avengers’ remains a promising project, transitioning from a Disney+ show to a movie now in active development. Production Weekly confirms Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito as producers, with a 2025 production start hinted in their report.

2023 was not a good movie for Marvel Studios, despite it being an incredibly important year since it was supposed to kick off the next saga and introduce the new primary villain, Kang the Conqueror. Two of our three released movies flopped, and ‘Secret Invasion’ was among the critics pronounced to be one of the worst McU-based shows that were ever released in Disney+.
Reflecting on record-low profits, Bob Iger commented that they need to focus on quality over quantity, and this is why the 2024 release slate is rather humble, with ‘Deadpool 3’ likely being the only movie to be released. The following article contains spoilers for "The Marvels," including the mid-credits scene.
"The Marvels" has finally hit theaters, and across the board, star Iman Vellani, who plays Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, has received well-deserved praise. One just cannot look at her enthusiasm and joy and not smile. The film may be having a rough time at the box office, but if Vellani is the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that future is bright. In fact, the future of the MCU is something /Film's own Ethan Anderton discussed while chatting with Vellani about "The Marvels."
During their conversation, Anderton asked Vellani about the mid-credits scene where Kamala Khan recreates the very first MCU post-credits scene. You know, the "Iron Man" one where Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) recruits Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) for his Avengers Initiative? Not only does Kamala show up at Kate Bishop's (Hailee Steinfeld...

"She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" holds a pretty unique place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only was it a change of pace by largely serving as a legal drama with a side of superhero shenanigans, but it also got really meta along the way, with Tatiana Maslany's Jennifer Walters breaking the fourth wall a great deal, not unlike Deadpool. That meta part of the narrative hit its apex in the show's finale, which saw Jennifer breaking out of her show directly into Marvel Studios headquarters to have a word with the writers — as well as Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige (sort of).
Jennifer literally helped to rewrite her own ending, with the finale we had seen earlier in the episode erased for something more optimistic. But how does the MCU timeline classify this very meta moment? We have an...

“Without the me, without the Tva… everything burns.” With those chilling words from the finale of Loki season one, He Who Remains set the new stakes of the MCU. The multiverse was held in tenuous balance by He Who Remains, and when a vengeful Sylvie killed him, she exposed the multiverse to its greatest threat: his own Variant, Kang the Conquerer.
Given He Who Remain’s grandiloquence, it’s more than a little surprising that the first line of defense against Kang’s incursion would be Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne, aka Ant-Man and the Wasp. The duo have fought off weapons dealers and phase-shifting thieves, but a guy who can destroy several realities seems a little out of their league, even with the help of Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne. Spoiler Alert: reading further will reveal a key plot point in the season finale of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”.
The first season of Marvel’s “She-Hulk” concluded last week, containing the big revelation of yet another Hulk — this one a baby named Skaar.
The season finale also boasted a very unconventional ending for a project set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) didn’t smash a foe, but instead smashed the fourth wall, using the Disney+ platform to wind up at Marvel Studios, where she discussed how the season should end with a robotic AI named K.E.V.I.N.
Anyone guessing that was a not-too-subtle nod to Marvel’s president and chief creative officer Kevin Feige can take a seat at the front of the class, and in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter the series’ head writer and executive producer, Jessica Gao,...

"She-Hulk" introduces us to Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner's cousin and the latest superhero in the McU's Phase Four. While the buzziest cameo in the Disney+/Marvel series was probably the long-awaited return of Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, the show's Oct. 13 season finale managed to slip in another hint about the future of the Marvel universe. In the episode's closing minutes, we're introduced to Skaar, the Hulk's son - and a notable figure in the Marvel comics.
Who Is Skaar in the Marvel Comics?
In the comics, Skaar is the son of the Hulk (aka Bruce Banner) and Caiera, an alien woman from the planet Sakaar. During a great war on Sakaar, the Hulk is captured by the evil Red King, then eventually frees himself and leads rebel forces. Caiera, previously forced to work for the Red King, betrays him and sides with Hulk, who eventually emerges victorious as the new king.

“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” wrapped up its first season on Thursday with a majorly-meta finale that found Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), literally breaking the fourth wall to reset the things that had gone wrong with her story.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for the "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law" finale.
To say that "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law" ended on a surprising note would be an understatement. Marvel finales and third acts have a tendency to be very hit-or-miss, more often than not devolving into a messy CGI spectacle that loses sight of its emotional groundwork. So when She-Hulk, Titania, the Abomination, and even the Hulk himself found themselves gearing up for battle, it seemed like this series would be no exception — but then the writers swerved right off that predetermined route and into the unexpected.
Instead of the same thing we've seen a million times before, "She-Hulk" delivered a clever and hilarious riff on a Marvel finale, effectively blowing our minds and giving Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) complete control of her storyline. Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you haven’t watched the season finale of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” now streaming on Disney+.
Throughout “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), repeatedly breaks the fourth wall by not only directly addressing the camera, but acknowledging that she exists in a Marvel Studios superhero TV show. In the season finale — pointedly titled “Whose Show Is This?” — Jennifer smashes out of the show entirely, jumping through the Disney+ portal to confront the writers of the show about why the finale is so needlessly convoluted with extraneous, nonsensical plot lines, including one about a cabal of toxic fanboys who troll Jennifer online about being a female superhero who doesn’t deserve her powers.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 1.] The She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season finale had a little bit of everything for fans. A massive, character-packed battle scene, a continued bit of romance for lawyers Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) and Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox), an almost-Hulk-powered super villain, an exciting new character with big implications (Skaar!), and lots of resolution for our green leading lady. But what made the epic episode stand out is also what separates She-Hulk from the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: its wild and unabashed fourth-wall breaking. The finale, which started out with a throwback Incredible Hulk-inspired retro introduction, dove right into the chaos of its many, many storylines and characters before Jen decides it’s just too much. She breaks into the Disney+ home screen and swings herself into Marvel’s Assembled (the streamer’s behind-the-scenes anthology series). First, she takes her complaints to...

Marvel fans are convinced the She-Hulk finale teased an exciting Bruce Banner storyline.
The finale of She-Hulk: Attorney-at-Law was released on Thursday (13 October), and many viewers think the episode set up a chapter for Hulk that fans have been requesting for some time.
This storyline would position Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner as World War Hulk – one of, if not the most unbeatable forces in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
In episode two, Hulk, in his Smart form that was introduced in Avengers: Endgame, leaves Earth to “take care” of “somet things” and, in the finale, he returns with a surprise in store – he has a son named Skaar.
Skaar’s arrival has been met with happiness by fans who have been wanting World War Hulk to be introduced, and believe this to be a step in the right direction.

This post contains spoilers for the season finale of "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law."
Season 1 of Marvel's "She-Hulk" ended on a surprising note, with She-Hulk/Jen Walters (Tatiana Maslany) breaking through the fourth wall and into the writer's room to question the cliched storylines inherent within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this clever, super-meta self-callout, Jen questions the problem with regurgitated MCU plotlines (such as variations of the Super Original Super-Serum plotlines) and how female pleasure is depicted in these superhero offerings. The results are fun, with Jen taking control over her own storyline ... even though the episode ends with a formulaic reveal that potentially sets up a major Hulk storyline from the comics.
During Jen's family get-together, she brings Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) along, and we love to see the two looking awkwardly coy in this setting. Enter Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), who had gone Awol since we last saw him on a Sakaarian spaceship,...

You absolutely knew where She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was heading with its season finale. But Marvel knew you knew. So what you got instead was a closer that redefined “fourth wall-breaking,” brought back some familiar faces, and then introduced a brand-new, potentially important one to the MCU.

This article contains She-Hulk: Attorney at Law finale spoilers
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law finished off its first season and it was a lot. Maybe it was a little. Or both at the same time. Either way, it was crazy and the fact that Marvel hyped it up with a trailer made entirely of old footage except for two brief shots of Hulk vs. Abomination was kind of brilliant considering where it led to.
As the final episode exploded in character callbacks and hackneyed twists turning into an oversaturated fight scene that Jen Walters felt did a disservice to her season-long storyline, the episode suddenly went full meta as She-Hulk confronted K.E.V.I.N., the AI behind the creation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Things got cute with references to the X-Men and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but ultimately, Jen erased Hulk’s grand return despite K.E.

This article contains spoilers for the finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
Whatever fans were expecting from the finale of Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, it’s fair to say those expectations were way off. After being banned from practicing law following the events of last week’s episode, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) was fitted with an inhibitor and lost her job. She even had to move back in with her parents. But she was also determined to get to the bottom of the Intelligencia plot to humiliate and discredit her.
Colleagues Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga) and Pug (Josh Segarra) were soon on the case, infiltrating the cabal of internet trolls at Emil Blonsky’s retreat, where they had gathered to celebrate their victory over her. It was revealed that none other than Todd (Jon Bass), the gross dude who had popped up a few times and was clearly obsessed with Jen,...

This post contains spoilers for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 2
And just like that, Hulk is off-planet again. Midway through the second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Jen phones her cousin Bruce to get his blessing on taking a new job, which would require her to defend Bruce’s old nemesis from The Incredible Hulk, Emil Blonsky aka Abomination. Bruce of course agrees but then reveals that he can’t do more because he’s on a spaceship headed for Sakaar, the same ship whose sudden appearance in episode one caused the accident that led to Jen getting Bruce’s gamma-irradiated blood in her system. While it makes sense to have Bruce featured heavily in the first episode and then go away, to bring in viewers but not overshadow the main character, this plot beat may be more than a narrative convention.

“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” Episode 2 just smashed onto Disney+ and with it came a titillating new mystery to go along with the already-thrilling adventures of Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), our favorite super-powered attorney.
As we found out in the first episode, Jen is Bruce Banner’s (Mark Ruffalo) cousin and as such can handle extreme amounts of gamma radiation, even after being infected with her cousin’s blood following a car accident. (More on that accident in a minute.) And Episode 2 further explored this dynamic, in a fun and surprising way. When chatting with Jessica Gao, the head writer and executive producer of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” we had to find out more.
But to get into the aforementioned mystery, we need to go into spoilers. If you haven’t watched this week’s episode, turn back now! Major spoilers ahead!

[This story contains spoilers for She-Hulk episode two.]
Being a Hulk is now a family business. But Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) may not be the only members of their gamma-irradiated clan. The second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, directed by Kat Coiro and written by Jessica Gao, sees the Hulk once again headed to space, this time on a Sakaarian ship, similar to the one featured in Thor: Ragnarok (2017), and presumably the same one that caused the accident that created She-Hulk in the debut episode. Despite She-Hulk serving as a sitcom, there does seem to be something larger happening between the scenes, a revelation that could finally lead to a new Hulk movie.
Much of Phase Four of the MCU has placed an emphasis on family and legacy, with characters taking on new roles, like Scarlet Witch, Loki, Captain America (Sam Wilson), and Spider-Man. Others...

(This article contains spoilers for the first two episodes of "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law." Please proceed with caution.)
In the pilot episode of "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law," True Believers learned that Jennifer Walters got her Hulk powers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during a car crash while on a road trip with her cousin, Bruce Banner. Both bloody after the wreck, his blood dripped onto Jen and into her bloodstream, mixing his gamma-irradiated blood with hers and triggering a transformation.
While this is more or less in line with her comic origin (aside from the blood transfusion happening accidentally on the show), one hugely important detail that sets the Disney+ series apart from the source material is the spaceship that causes the crash. A Sakaaran vessel descends from the sky directly in front of Bruce and Jen's car, blocking the road ahead and causing the cousins to overturn their car while swerving off the highway.

Our She-Hulk: Attorney at Law reviews will be adopting a different format than the one we use for MCU shows with longer episodes; more of a breakdown that we hope will still satisfy regular readers but also help those less familiar with the MCU keep up.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at episode two, “Superhuman Law”.
The Case: What Happened?
In the aftermath of Jennifer Walters’ rather literal court battle with Titania in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode one, the media label her “She-Hulk”, a nickname she is very much not fond of. But as Bruce Banner warned her, these superhero names have a way of sticking around.
