Sitting on a couch post-workout session in his office on the Sunset Strip, L.A. real estate broker Jason Oppenheim tells The Hollywood Reporter exclusively that his popular Netflix reality show Selling Sunset has been renewed for an eighth season and that production will begin soon on the latest installments of the series.
“For me, each season gets more and more fun,” says Oppenheim, who had originally hoped that the show — a bingeable mix of real estate, oft-combative personal dynamics, over-the-top fashion and L.A. nightlife — would run for at least three seasons. “When we were doing season one, we were like, ‘If we can get to season three, we had a real show. Anything above that would be icing.’ We’ve been running on icing for years now.”

"Selling Sunset" season seven is almost here and, of course, the drama is never-ending. Netflix dropped the season's trailer on Oct. 12, teasing more shade from the Oppenheim Group agents and an intense sit-down between Jason's ex, Chrishell Stause, and his then-girlfriend, Marie-Lou Nürk, though they've since broken up. That, plus a playful rivalry between the "Selling Sunset" cast and their other Oppenheim branches, like "Selling the Oc," are what viewers can look forward to this season. But that's not all.
On Nov. 2, Netflix revealed that "Selling Sunset" will cap off its seventh season with a bonus reunion special on Nov. 15, hosted by "Queer Eye"'s Tan France. The last time the show aired a reunion was in 2022 for season five, which was an explosive episode that addressed the aftermath of Stause and Jason's breakup and revealed the former's romance with her partner, G-Flip. The trailer for season 7 of Selling Sunset is here, and it doesn’t disappoint in terms of the drama headed our way!
The trailer is shockingly light on the Nicole Young and Chrishell Stause drama, but does feature a conversation between Chrishell and Jason Oppenheim‘s then-girlfriend (now ex) Marie-Lou Nurk. If you don’t know, Marie-Lou indicated she might not have really liked Chrishell all-too-much at one point. Chrishell and Jason used to date, but she’s now happily married to G Flip.
Keep reading to find out more…
Others featured in the trailer are Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, and Mary Fitzgerald, as well as Jason and Brett Oppenheim.
Fans were unclear if Heather Rae El Moussa would be featured this season, but a new still (in the gallery below) confirms she’s at least featured, despite being left off of the season’s new poster.

Chrishell Stause and G Flip's Marriage May Not Be Legally Binding, but Their Vow Tattoos Are Forever
Chrishell Stause and G Flip may have ridden off into the sunset as a married couple in early May, but it was reportedly not in the traditional sense. Stause, who stars on Netflix's realty drama "Selling Sunset," first hinted that she'd married her partner of about a year in a May 10 Instagram showing off clips of her relationship with G Flip set to the Australian singer's new song, "Be Your Man."
"Love doesn't always go as planned. Sometimes it's So much better," Stause wrote over the footage. She ended the video with a shot of the pair in a wedding chapel kissing, with Stause holding a bouquet aloft and wearing a chic wedding dress. Shortly after, she shared a video of what appeared to be an Elvis impersonator on her Instagram Story. A representative for Stause confirmed the couple's wedding news to Popsugar. People was the first to confirm.

With Selling Sunset returning for its sixth season on May 19, series star Emma Hernan of the Oppenheim Group says that the new episodes of the Netflix real-estate reality show won’t be lacking in drama.
“Don’t worry, we have a new villain,” Hernan tells The Hollywood Reporter with a laugh, when asked whether things will be more placid on the show after the departure of cast member and fashion influencer Christine Quinn, who was at the center of numerous clashes on Selling Sunset.
“We have a new villain and I will let you and the audience decide who you think it is,” continues Hernan, who first joined the cast of Selling Sunset in season four. “Everyone has their own opinions, I have mine and I don’t like the villain. But everyone will make their own opinions. But I can assure you we have a new villain in the mix.

Bre Tiesi is ready to make her mark on the "Selling Sunset" universe. Season six will mark Tiesi's first time on the show, though it's definitely not the 31-year-old's first time in the spotlight. She's also long been a real estate agent, making her a perfect fit for the Oppenheim Group - and she recently welcomed her first child with Nick Cannon.
Tiesi joins fellow newcomer Nicole Young on the reality series, and returning cast members include Jason Oppenheim, Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae El Moussa, Amanza Smith, Davina Potratz, and Chelsea Lazkani. Josh Flagg from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles got a little shady on Watch What Happens Live when he claimed to not know that Mauricio Umansky had a show.
A virtual Wwhl fan asked Flagg and co-guest Tracy Tutor if they considered Umansky to be their biggest real estate competitor and their thoughts on his Netflix show Buying Beverly Hills. “I didn’t know he had a show,” Flagg said looking perplexed.

Meanwhile, Tutor had nothing but love for Buying Beverly Hills. “I think it’s adorable. I love watching Farrah,” she said.
She added, “I think she’s just a little boss. I think the family dynamic is super sweet with them and I celebrate them. So congratulations.”

Is there nothing the Oppenheim Group cannot accomplish? Twin brothers Jason and Brett Oppenheim changed the real estate game in Southern California. They brought a chic, upscale, luxury office to Los Angeles and hired only beautiful women with a penchant for tight clothes, low necklines, high hemlines, and Louboutins. The show shares the lives of the women (and the Oppenheim brothers) selling luxury real estate to Los Angeles clients, and it also brings the heat, the drama, and a lot of backstories. Since season one, we’ve seen a television star’s husband leave her, and Christine Quinn loses all her friends.

The Oppenheim Group is expanding to Orange County, and it looks like the drama has followed.
A new trailer for Netflix’s “Selling the Oc” introduces some of the big personalities who will be joining the brokerage’s new Southern California location and teases that, just like “Selling Sunset,” they’re destined to clash.
“The Oppenheim Group comes with its own brand of office politics,” one of the agents declares. But while there’s definitely a few tense moments in the office, there appears to be some wholesome ones, as well.
The trailer ends with many of the agents huddling together to watch the sunset over the ocean as Oppenheimer Group newcomer Tyler Stanaland asks: “How many other real estate offices have cuddle puddles on the beach?”
You can watch the full trailer in the video above.

The Selling Sunset ladies will continue to serve up the drama and mansions.
Netflix has officially renewed the hit reality series for two more seasons, keeping the show on the air through its seventh season.
Set in the world of LA’s high-end real estate, Selling Sunset follows the city's most successful female realtors who all work under the same roof at The Oppenheim Group, the #1 agency in the Hollywood Hills and the Sunset Strip.

No details have been revealed about the cast, meaning fans will have to wait for a while longer to find out what will become of Christine Quinn.
Her time on the show appeared to be on the rocks at the close of the fifth season, but there's no telling what the show will have in store for fans when it returns.

When Adam Divello first pitched Selling Sunset to Netflix, the plan wasn’t to turn an unscripted show about The Oppenheim Group—a high-end real estate firm in West Hollywood—into something akin to the Real Housewives franchise.
