Travis James Pate Producer, Screenwriter: started taking photographs at age 12 and began taking photography classes at school in the 6th grade in Santa Ana. Worked as a movie theater usher when he was 17 at UA City Cinemas 6 in Orange, CA. After high school He worked as a paid photographer taking pictures for real estate ads for his hometown newspaper the Register in Orange County Ca. and also cars for sale in the Auto trader publication. At age 18 he began making super-8 movies and completed his first short, Observatory which he shot at Griffith Observatory in 1999, his education in film began when at a young age he moved to Los Angeles, got a job at Warner Bros. Studios in the commissary as a busboy and started taking classes at LA Valley College Film School: His fine art photographs, shorts and videos established his reputation as an innovative filmmaker and allowed him to produce write and direct an ad for a corporation he was working for which was seen all over the country. Travis studied Theater Arts Acting in Orange County, with instructors Sheryl Donchey, Robert G. Leigh and Phyllis Gitlin. He started taking small roles as an extra and was soon learning the filmmaking process 1st hand. He appeared on Beverly Hills 90210, Babylon 5, Stark Raving Mad, 3rd Rock From The Sun, and Malibu USA. His current work is an original screenplay he wrote, Farmyard which is a feature length film.
