Born in Concord, New Hampshire, Ànú Bámidélé is a proud Nigerian-American actress and filmmaker, who has spent most of her life bouncing between the United States and West Africa. As an actress, Anu has trained with the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, The Barrow Group, and Anthony Meindl's Actors Workshop. Her most recent credit was a supporting role opposite Jeffrey Wright in American Fiction. As a filmmaker, Anu has been selected as a mentee for industry programs such as Group Effort Initiative, founded by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, and Unlock Her Potential, founded by Sophia Chang. Her most recent short film, TOXIC, was selected as a finalist for the Essence Film Festival, a part of Essence Fest.
