Claudia Jordan, an early contestant, was great for continuity since she was on the original as a suitcase model. As previously reported on Monsters and Critics, fans have called her a “lucky charm” for the series.

Boston Rob Mariano thinks he has set the expectations for other Survivor alums that go on Deal Or No Deal Island. Rob has been a main target not that the numbers are dwindling. He has had his luck and strategic gameplay, and now he just needs to fight for his life in the game. However, he thinks since he has played the game the way he has, other alums are going to have a hard time.
Boston Rob Mariano Discusses Gameplay
Boston Rob discussed his gameplay.
“I always wanted to have my fate in my own hands, and once I realized [there are] situations that you can get yourself into in this game where effectively you wouldn’t have your fate in your own hands per se, if you’re sitting in the middle and somebody else was playing the banker, they could potentially take you out because you didn’t have immunity.

Fans of Deal Or No Deal Island are slamming a certain group of players for being bullies. The group “Night Owls” is not a fan favorite as they have been ganging up on Boston Rob and Aron Barbell. The group recently lost one of their members when he took a personal amount of money and got eliminated. However, this did not stop them from bullying the other two people they wanted gone.
Deal Or No Deal Island Fan Favorite
Boston Rob Mariano is a fan-favorite of the show. Fans have said they will stop watching the show altogether if he goes home. Another favorite is his partner in crime, Aron Barbell. Boston has taken Aron under his wing and viewers are here for it. He has continued to fight for Aron and vice versa. However, it seems to be the two of them against the rest of the players. The...

Some Deal or No Deal Island contestants are making lifelong friendships that are still going strong after the game has already been decided.
This is especially true for Boston Rob Mariano and his new buddy, Aron Barbell.
As reported by Monsters and Critics, the duo vacationed together after filming ended. Aron got to meet Rob’s family and some of his Survivor buddies.
The group met up at a famous bar named the Flora-Bama on the Alabama and Florida state lines.
Aron had to take a social media break recently because of a problematic episode of Deal or No Deal Island, but he’s back on Instagram and recently answered some questions posed by fans.
One question has Aron sharing how his new best friend, Boston Rob, bested him at a game on vacation.

Last week’s nailbiter of a Deal or No Deal Island episode had one young contestant swearing off social media because of the drama involved.
Aron Barbell took the elimination of Alyssa Klinzing by Dr. Stephanie Mitchell so hard that he cried and stormed off, saying he had an anxiety attack and could not take it anymore.
Aron made a heartfelt post on Instagram explaining that watching the scenes again was hard for him and that he’d be off social media because of the aftermath.
The next episode airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern, and a teaser NBC shared on Youtube has Aron’s good friend Boston Rob Mariano stepping up to console him.

The latest Deal or No Deal Island episode could have been titled Snakes Will Always Be Snakes instead of Are You Decisive.
The game’s premise pits people against each other, and even those in alliances or friendships may be forced to backstab each other.
One of the contestants, Aron Barbell, found the latest segment facing the banker in the temple too much for his emotions.
After an exciting challenge in which they all took to paddleboards to find their suitcases full of money, the intensity ramped up during an argument over who would face going home.
Dr. Stephanie Mitchell and Alyssa Klinzing had a long argument, with Alyssa dragging Aron into it and asking him not to help Stephanie. Stephanie called Alyssa a “snake and a liar.”
Ultimately, Alyssa was sent home, and Aron did not take it well, causing the host, Joe Manganiello, to ask if he would vomit.

Deal or No Deal Island just completed Season 1, episode 6, and fans cannot stop talking about Boston Rob Mariano and his performance in the competition.
Rob proves to be an unstoppable force each week, just like he was on Survivor, and fans are rooting for him to win the game.
He’s been making deals left and right in the game, even making longtime forever friends with some of the eight contestants left.
He recently made news by sharing photos on social media with another fierce contestant, Aron Barbell. The young accountant met up with Boston Rob for a fun vacation.
Both are still in the game and could win the big suitcase at the end of Deal or No Deal Island.
The latest episode had Boston Rob having to deep-dive into the water to secure a 3.5-million-dollar suitcase, causing fans to sit on the edge of their seats.

The second season of House Of Villains is finally going to happen. The names of the reality television stars have just been released. The list of villains is quite impressive. Reaching deep into the history of Survivor, there is a previous winner (and villain) fans will love to see return to reality television.
Previous Survivor Winners’ Returns To Reality Television
There have been several Survivor winners who have returned to reality television. Some of these previous winners have done quite well in their attempts to win the prize in new shows. Even though their Survivor days may not be over, they made the choice to branch out and try new things.
Amber Mariano, the wife of “Boston Rob” Mariano, competed with her husband on The Amazing Race. The first and only woman to win Survivor twice, Sandra Diaz-Twine, appeared on the second season of The Traitors. Also starring in the...

Deal or No Deal Island is heating the reality television world with a mix of old stars like Boston Rob Mariano and new fan favorites like Aron Barbell.
Both players are still going strong. Episode 5 of Deal or No Deal Season 1 ended, and only nine players are left competing in the game.
Boston Rob is a great all-around reality television player with experience on Survivor and The Amazing Race. Fans are calling for him to join Traitors Season 3.
He has teamed up with newcomer Aron Barbell, a young accountant doing surprisingly well on Deal or No Deal Island.
Most of Boston Rob’s deals with the other players are superficial and meant to let him live another week to win the big bucks in the finale.
Aron’s relationship with Boston Rob on the show is a real deal that has now branched into a real-life friendship, as he shared on his Instagram Reels.

There is no question now: Deal or No Deal Island, the spin-off of Deal or No Deal, is a hit.
The premise of the new game show is simple: The 13 contestants travel to an island “where they compete in daring challenges to find hidden briefcases worth over $200 million,” according to Rotten Tomatoes.
Some familiar faces among the contestants include Boston Rob Mariano, Claudia Jordan, and Joe Manganiello, the host.
The Survivor alum Rob Mariano, aka Boston Rob, has shared some excellent news about Deal or No Deal Island on his Instagram feed.
The show is in Season 1 and doing very well with its viewer numbers. It earned an additional appearance on NBC and is steaming on Peacock.
Boston Rob also shared that the show is “setting records,” with 24 million viewers watching it on NBC and Peacock.

It has happened again. There is another contestant on CBS’s megahit reality show, Survivor, who is covering a tattoo. Making this situation a bit stranger, both the first and second contestants who have had to cover tattoos share the name “Ben.” The odds of that happening just might be as long as they are for becoming a contestant on Survivor.
The First Covered Tattoo On Survivor
The first covered tattoo seen (or not seen) on Survivor happened back in 2017. That was Season 35, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. The tattoo belonged to Ben Driebergen. It was Ben Driebergen who went on to win that season and take home the $1 million prize.
Ben Driebergen, a former Marine and stay-at-home dad, also appeared on Season 40. This was the season where many of the winners came back to try to win the $2 million prize. Season 40 was known as Winners At War. It featured...

For years, Rob Mariano operated as a veritable Survivor ambassador, having first appeared in Marquesas before going on to compete five more times on the CBS franchise. His celebrity became so valuable to the network that he would compete twice on The Amazing Race and even allowed CBS to film his 2005 nuptials to fellow Survivor contestant Amber Brkirch.
But when NBC’s Deal or No Deal Island came calling with the chance to compete, Mariano didn’t hesitate to put CBS reality shows in the rearview mirror so he could try something new on a different network.
“Of course, I love CBS, that’s where I got my start, and I have been loyal to ’em for a lot of years,” Mariano tells Deadline. “But throughout the years I’ve done projects for other outlets. I did a pilot for the History Channel, I worked for the Sci-Fi channel. At...

Rob Mariano, known as “Boston Rob” from all his time on Survivor, has faced many challenges in his long reality show career. Whether he was matching wits against Sandra Diaz-Twine and Russell Hantz on Survivor or traveling around the world with his wife, Amber, on The Amazing Race, Boston Rob is no stranger to difficult situations. Now that he is on Deal Or No Deal Island, he will eventually have to face what could be his most difficult challenge of all. That difficult challenge would be “the banker.”
Deal Or No Deal Is Now On An Island
Many will remember NBC’s Deal Or No Deal from several years ago. The contestants, the briefcases of cash, the briefcase models, and, of course, the banker. This was all filmed on a safe, comfortable television stage. That is not how it is anymore.
Now, there is Deal Or No Deal Island. It is filmed on an island.

A secret alliance from The Traitors 2 happened right under the noses of the castle guests.
This alliance may have been a big reason certain people made it to the end of the season.
As Traitors fans already saw, Trishelle Cannatella and Chris “Ct” Tamburello were named the winners.
Trishelle and Ct won just over $200,000 for their efforts in Scotland, and they helped bring some intense drama to the final episode.
Their experiences on The Challenge and in their Real World houses certainly helped them navigate this new reality competition show.
How they became the final two also led to a spicy reunion show with Mercedes “Mj” Javid from Shahs of Sunset lashing out about how she felt she was treated.

An unexpected feud between a Big Brother winner and a new Survivor player may have just begun.
Three episodes into the Survivor 46 season, it has been rough-sledding for one particular tribe. And viewers have noticed.
One such viewer seems to be BB15 winner Andy Herren, who shared some thoughts on social media.
Andy was part of a very troubled season of Big Brother that aired in the summer of 2013. Numerous racist and homophobic comments made by houseguests that season embroiled the reality competition show in controversy.
It has seemed like CBS wanted to distance itself from that season, with nobody from the BB15 cast returning to play the game again.
The troubled BB15 season and the casting for Survivor 46 set the background for a social media dust-up this week.

Boston Rob Mariano is back on television with the debut season of Deal or No Deal Island.
Appearing on the new NBC reality competition show has led to many new interviews for the Survivor winner.
During those interviews, while Rob speaks much about Deal or No Deal Island, he has been asked questions about appearing on various other shows.

Kate Chastain is good at The Traitors.
That’s why the producers brought the Below Deck alum back for another try.
Kate was a fan-favorite during the first season of The Traitors USA. She was good at spotting Traitors, spoke at Roundtables without a filter, and her efforts to quit the game led to some good television.

Imagine “Deal or No Deal” set on an exotic island, with its 13 participants facing extreme challenges, testing their limits and literally crawling through mud. Except you don’t have to – it’s already here.
“What if the Banker had a private island and decided to put his contestants through an extreme game to find one winner? The craziness of the idea is, I think, what we and NBC rallied around,” says Sharon Levy, CEO at Endemol Shine North America.
Levy also executive produces “Deal or No Deal Island” alongside Matt Kunitz, Matt Apps, Sarah Happel Jackson, Howie Mandel, DJ Nurre and Sean Loughlin.

Mariano, who celebrates his 20th wedding anniversary to Survivor sweetheart Amber Brkich in 2025, reveals his strategy.. What was your approach to winning? “Boston” Rob Mariano: It’s a new game, a new format. You’ll see we’re all figuring it out as we’re playing. In my strategic mind, I wanted to [know], “How can I get an advantage? What can I use in my favor?” I think the audience is going to love seeing me dissecting it in real-time.
