Ken Jeong has some of the wildest guesses on The Masked Singer. However, when he gets his mind latched onto something he really believes is true, he really dives into the guess. When it comes to this season’s Goldfish, Ken believes he knows who it is and his guess is someone all of the show’s fans know well.
Here is who Ken thinks is under the Goldfish costume this season on The Masked Singer.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour continues to take her all across the United States, and so far she's invited several of her famous friends and collaborators to join her during the shows. Every night, Swift performs two surprise songs as part of the set list, and she's had someone take the stage with her during that part quite a few times. Plus, when singer Phoebe Bridgers joined the tour in May as an opener, Swift performed their duet "Nothing New" as part of the set list every night. Then, to close out her May dates, Swift invited Ice Spice - who appears on "Karma Remix" - to each of her New Jersey shows. The Chicago crowd at Swift's June 3 show got a treat when country star Maren Morris joined the singer on stage. And once Haim joined the show as an opener during the Seattle dates on July 22 and 23, they...

Who didn’t Tony Bennett duet with?
The legendary singer was famously known for his Grammy-winning, platinum-selling Duet albums that featured everyone from Lady Gaga and Amy Winehouse to Aretha Franklin and Barbra Streisand.
Here, we celebrate the collaborative efforts of Bennett, who died Friday at age 96.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga ditched the upbeat, electronic dance sound that made her popular to work with Bennett on jazz music, a genre she had been singing since she was a teenager. The New Yorkers first collaborated on “The Lady Is a Tramp” from Bennett’s 2011 release Duets II. The pairing was so perfect they went on to record 2014’s Cheek to Cheek, with Bennett and Gaga hoping to turn more kids to jazz music. “[Gaga] has a vast group of young people who love her, and they’ve never heard popular jazz music, classical American music … and my ambition was to do this...

The Academy of Country Music Awards announced their 58th annual nominations on April 13 in advance of the May 11 show, and this year they cited seven artists for Entertainer of the Year. That includes two women: Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, the only two women who have been nominated for the last eight years. Lambert surprised us by winning the award in 2022 (it was her first win on her sixth try). Can she do it again? Make your predictions here in our predictions center.
SEE2023 ACM nominations list: Hardy and Lainey Wilson lead Academy of Country Music Awards nominees
The odds usually aren’t in women’s favor at the ACM Awards. The organization has given out Entertainer of the Year 52 times to date. Only 12 times has the winner been a woman. Lambert prevailed in 2022. She’s joined on that short list by Loretta Lynn (1975), Dolly Parton (1978), Barbara Mandrell (1981), Reba McEntire (1995), Shania Twain (2000), The Chicks (2001), Underwood,...

“A friend of mine has this absolutely fantastic story that we should all do together.” Barbara Kopple heard these words, she tells me, on a phone call last year with producer John Morrissey (American History X). She’s likely heard such preambles before. Kopple has directed documentaries for more than 40 years, from her landmark labor-strike feature Harlan County U.S.A. to her profiles of Woody Allen (Wild Man Blues), the Dixie Chicks (Shut Up & Sing) and the late, eternally great Sharon Jones (Miss Sharon Jones!). Morrissey wanted to pitch Kopple a film on Collier Landry, an L.A.-based filmmaker whose mother […]...

The Cma Awards always bring out the biggest stars in country music, but what really makes the show special are all the electrifying performances and unexpected surprises. In 2015, Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton gave us the country duet we never knew we needed, and in 2016, Beyoncé shocked us all when she popped up at the show to perform with the Dixie Chicks. This year's CMAs are going down on Nov. 8, but before we get the party started, take a look back at some of the best moments from years past.

When Amanda Lipitz started making her Sundance sensation documentary “Step,” she began speaking with a group of inner-city Baltimore high school students before they entered high school. When the girls, who were forming a step team, were in 10th grade, she began filming interviews. When they entered 11th grade, she began filming them verite-style.
Then Freddie Gray was killed.
“I knew I had to throw out everything I’d shot until that point,” she said after a screening of the Michelle Obama–approved film at the International Documentary Association’s annual screening series.

Johnny Depp needs to go on an extended hiatus. Fresh off the record-low totals for “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” the actor appeared at the Glastonbury Festival in southern England on Thursday for a screening of his 2004 drama “The Libertine,” and he only had Trump on the brain while making his introduction.

“Can we bring Trump in?” Depp asked the crowd during his opening remarks. “I think Trump needs help. There are a lot of dark places he could go. I’m not insinuating anything – by the way this will be in the press and it will be horrible – but when was the last time an actor assassinated a president?”
We’re not positive Depp knows the answer to that question (the assassination of Abraham Lincoln by actor John Wilkes Booth), but we do know that Depp probably shouldn’t be making assassination jokes abroad. He has every right to crack this kind of joke with his friends and family, but doing it on a global stage in a foreign country isn’t in good taste at all. Remember what happened when the Dixie Chicks joked about Bush?
“Don’t worry, I’m not an actor, I lie for a living,” Depp said after his joke, but that didn’t prevent it from leaving a bad taste in many people’s mouths.

Filmmakers and stars have often taken a political stance by choosing which projects to make. But when the Academy Awards ceremony began in 1929 to honor the best in film, this created a more public way to demonstrate opinions about the state of the world, the government or a cause.

One of Barbara Kopple’s great gifts as a documentarian is that she can turn any subject into a story. Whether she’s doing celebrity portraiture (as in her 2006 Dixie Chicks tour film Shut Up & Sing or her recent Miss Sharon Jones!) or she’s on the front-lines of organized labor disputes (as in the Oscar-winning Harlan County, USA and American Dream), Kopple always looks for the strong narrative line, so she can explore bigger issues through the natural pull of everyday drama. Her filmography is so eclectic that it’s sometimes hard to put her work into any particular category or genre. She’s never been exclusively a “verité” director, or a political polemicist. She mostly just tries to connect two sets of human beings: the ones on her screen and the ones watching.

Because it’s probably the last check they’re ever going to get,” Dixie Chicks manager Simon Renshaw told TheWrap.

Solange unleashed a firecracker of an album with A Seat At The Table in late September, and the number one spot it nabbed was incredibly warranted. One of its stand out cuts, “Cranes in the Sky,” has been the subject of numerous remixes over the past couple of weeks from the likes of Common and Kaytranada, but it’s the latest from Rick Ross that puts his above all of the rest.
Rick Ross doesn’t do anything too crazy with his remix, and he doesn’t need to – his lone verse in the beginning adds a hefty punch to an otherwise laid back, beautiful, and mellow track. Though it’s a song that appears to be at its best when left untouched, it becomes even more impressive if a remix manages to transform it into something even better, and that’s what Ross does here. I love the [collaboration]. Beyoncé looked amazing and if you didn't like it, that's weird and it says a lot about you." The actress' comment was a response to the backlash the Grammy winner received for her surprise performance on the country show. However, the Dixie Chicks came to Beyoncé's defense, tweeting fans a link to "Daddy Lessons" with a message: "If we all turn this up really loud, together we can drown out the hate." The only...

Update: The CMAs released a statement to Billboard on Thursday afternoon clarifying the content removed from its Facebook page. It did not specifically address claims regarding deleted tweets about the star. The statement read: "Cma has not erased any mentions of Beyoncé's performance on the Cma Awards. In advance of the broadcast, Cma removed a five-second promotional clip from ABC.com and Cma's Facebook page. The promo was unapproved and Cma removed it prior to the broadcast. Beyoncé's performance with Dixie Chicks was a highlight of the evening and we are continuing to share the amazing full-length performance clip via our official social channels." The Dixie Chicks also hinted at the controversy with a tweet on Thursday: If we all turn this up really loud, together we can drown out the hate. https://t.co/PWJcDeNmuR - Dixie Chicks (@dixiechicks) November 3, 2016 Original Post: Today, the Country Music Association appeared to remove all previous mentions of,...

The Country Music Association did not remove mentions of Beyonce’s performance at Wednesday night’s Cma Awards from its website and social media, despite reports to the contrary. At least, that’s the word from the Association, which called Beyonce taking the stage with the Dixie Chicks as a “highlight of the evening.” According to the association, the only mention of Beyonce’s appearance that was removed was an unapproved, five-second promotional clip that was pulled prior to the broadcast. “Cma has not erased any mentions of Beyonce’s performance on the Cma Awards,” the Association said in a statement Thursday.

King shared a few snapshots to Instagram on Wednesday, writing, "When you wish your squad was like this," and "Blondes have more fun."

Country music has long cross-pollinated with other musical genres, yet a genre-bending performance at last night’s 50th Annual Cma Awards rubbed some conservative country fans the wrong way. One of the most talked-about moments from Wednesday night's three-hour-plus Cma Awards was Beyonce and Dixie Chicks' show-stopping rendition of the former's Lemonade standout "Daddy Lessons" — but now there is no mention of the performance anywhere on the show's website or social media accounts. Despite going head-to-head in the ratings against Game 7 of the World Series, 12.8 million viewers tuned in to ABC for the 50th installment of the CMAs, a solid viewership haul that fell a million shy of last year's telecast. However, nearly 24 hours later, a quick search for "Beyonce" and "The Dixie

Where did Beyoncé go? That was question on a lot of people's minds when they went to the Country Music Association's website today for a recap of the Cma Awards last night. For those who managed to catch the show, you know that Queen B made a surprise appearance alongside Dixie Chicks for Bey's track, "Daddy Lessons," and it was one of the highlights of the night. But when fans took to the website earlier today, all photographic evidence of Bey at the award show was taken down. So, what gives? A statement from Cma to E! Beyonce has grown to such an iconic level that hearing that she made an appearance at the Country Music Awards doesn’t even make you bat an eye. Whatever endeavor the pop queen decides to take on, she handles it like she was born to do it. The Lemonade singer had perhaps the biggest show-stopping moment of the night at the November 2nd awards show when she performed her track, “Daddy Lessons,” with some help from the Dixie Chicks.
The Dixie Chicks joined Beyonce on the stage with a full band coupled with horns and guitars, adding even more of a country twang to the song — it was by far one of the most memorable moments of Beyonce’s year. Given how dark and dramatic the whole Lemonade saga was in terms of tone, it was nice to see such an emphatic and lively performance from Queen Bey and her accompanying country legends.

Early on Thursday morning, Dixie chicks singer Natalie Maines broke her silence on the top-secret collaboration with a pair of heartfelt tweets and a silly photo. "Ok! While there were quite a few stars singing along during her performance with the Dixie Chicks, the best reaction had to be from Matthew McConaughey. The actor was feeling the beat as the singer crooned her Lemonade hit "Daddy Lessons" with the country girl group. While his wife, Camila Alves, clapped along with the audience, the actor channeled his The Wolf of Wall Street character as he beat on his chest. Beyoncé gave a breathtaking performance with the Dixie Chicks on the CMAs stage in Nashville Wednesday night, but more importantly it was iconic for the mere fact that it, if even for a minute, she shed light on a major deficit in country music. Specifically, a deficit of black artists. It’s not that black country artists don’t exist, they just don’t command much attention — perpetuating the myth that black people and country music don’t mix. Even though Beyonce’s latest album, “Lemonade,” features “Daddy Lessons,” a very country-sounding track, the artist faced a great deal of online backlash when the CMAs.

Beyoncé brought the house down when she performed at the Cma Awards in Nashville, Tn, on Wednesday night. Not only did she look amazing in sparkly floor-length gown and pearls, but she sang "Daddy Lessons" from her Lemonade album alongside the Dixie Chicks, who have been covering the song during their concert tour this year. While Queen Bey may have skipped the red carpet, her mind-blowing performance certainly made up for it. Beyoncé's surprise appearance comes just a few days after she slayed Halloween with not one, but two costumes. At her cousin Angie Beyince's '80s-themed birthday party over the weekend, she dressed up as a member of Salt-n-Pepa with daughter Blue Ivy and mom Tina, and on Monday, the singer put all other getups to shame when she shared photos on Instagram of her and Jay Z's black Barbie and Ken costumes. Slay on, queen, slay on.
