For some reason, there has yet to be a mainstream Hollywood feature film about Donald Trump dramatizing any aspect of Trump's life, with an actor portraying him.
There have been countless documentaries about Trump, both for him and against him, and various comedians have portrayed him, including Alec Baldwin and later James Austin Johnson on Saturday Night Live.
The Comey Rule, a 2020 Showtime miniseries based on the memoirs of former FBI director James Comey, starred Brendan Gleeson as the 45th president, opposite Jeff Daniels as Comey.
At the same time, quite a few feature films, like The Oath in 2018 and Irresistible and The Hunt in 2020, have attempted to make dramatic hay out of the political controversies of the Trump years.
However, those who have not featured a Trump-based character have not referenced him directly.

As he took the stage at the BET Awards in June 2022 to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award, Sean “Diddy” Combs was elated. “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!” he bellowed, punctuating his words with triumphant jumps. The adoring crowd — who gave him a sustained standing ovation — included his mother and children, longtime friends, and music-industry peers Kanye West, Janelle Monáe, Babyface, and Lil Wayne. After three decades of relentless hustling that took him from hungry teenage intern to A&r executive, producer, label impresario, respected fashion designer, and household brand name,...

It Was June 24, 2022, and Karen Musick was working at Little Rock Family Planning Services, the last abortion clinic in Arkansas. She was guiding patients into the clinic when she heard a protester scream out the news. That’s how she found out the Supreme Court had issued a ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson; the court determined that the Constitution doesn’t protect the right to an abortion.
“We all knew it was coming,” Musick says now, two years later. She’s sitting in the clinic’s old office, surrounded by boxes piled high.

The Drake-Kendrick Lamar showdown will continue — at the 2024 BET Awards.
The rappers will compete in two categories at the June 30 show: best male hip-hop artist and best collaboration. In the latter category, Drake is nominated for “Rich Baby Daddy” with Sza and Sexyy Red, while Lamar is nominated for his guest verse on the remix of Beyoncé’s “America Has a Problem.”
Drake is the show’s top contender with seven nominations, thanks to his album For All the Dogs (Scary Hours Edition). Lamar didn’t release an album that was eligible this year. The Canadian rapper’s other nominations include album of the year, best male R&b/pop artist and viewer’s choice for “Rich Baby Daddy.” He’s nominated twice in the video of the year category: “Rich Baby Daddy” and his guest verse on J. Cole’s “First Person Shooter,” the late 2023 track that reignited his feud with Lamar.

Now, Drake reportedly swears on his career that Lamar’s allegations are false.

When it comes to truth in advertising, few albums this year are going to top Lil Jon’s just-released Total Meditation. Not remotely hip hop, the music is instead a soothing sonic bath akin to what one would hear in a massage-therapy room at a spa. As those tracks wash over you, the rapper, producer and home-improvement guru offers self-help tips (“anxiety can be a big problem for many people. When you meditate on a regular basis, the health benefits continue to increase”) and specific suggestions on how to meditate:...

Yeat is from the future. Yeat is not from this planet. According to the Yeat mythology, this is all the biographical detail you need to know about the 23-year-old Portland rapper who currently has a stranglehold over children and young men aged 12-30, and whose new album 2093 does little to expand upon those already sparse details. Yeat’s fans will tell you this is part of the point. One does not listen to Yeat expecting lyrical brilliance or even coherence. Like Playboi Carti before him, he traffics almost exclusively in vibes,...

Chris Brown is claiming the 2024 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game is singing one of his most famous songs: Say Goodbye.
The singer said he received an invitation to appear in the game, but a sponsor nixed those plans. Brown has constantly tried to make amends for a domestic abuse incident in 2009 against his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, and has generated other negative headlines from legal issues.
This time, Brown once again faced the consequences of past actions.
“I was asked by the NBA to play in the all star game this year! Rapper Kanye West has taken a dig at singer-songwriter Taylor Swift in a lengthy all-caps Instagram post. The rapper claimed that he’s been “more helpful” to her career “than harmful”, reports Mirror.co.uk.
The controversial ‘Bound 2’ rapper was reportedly removed from last weekend’s Super Bowl at the request of the ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker, claims he now denies. He’d only recently bragged on his Story about overtaking Taylor in Spotify’s global popularity charts.
Screenshotting another post on X, urging users to stream Beyonce’s new single ‘Texas Hold ’em’ in a bid to keep Ye’s Vultures out the Billboard charts, Kanye finally addressed his recent run-ins with Taylor.
As per Mirror.co.uk, the pair have history, famously clashing at the 2009 VMAs when Ye interrupted Swift’s award acceptance speech.

Super Bowl Sunday always has a little something for everyone, but this year's big game in Las Vegas went above and beyond in the razzle-dazzle department.
We were, of course, prepared for a celebrity-crammed spectacle due to the luxury booth presence of Travis Kelce's substantially famous girlfriend, but this gridiron rematch between last year's combatants, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, brought out more than just arguably the most famous pop star on the planet. The only pop star in that aforementioned argument, Beyoncé, was there with her hip-hop god husband Jay-Z! The world's greatest basketball player, LeBron James, flew in from Los Angeles for the contest! And Paul freakin' Rudd, sporting a bushy freakin' mustache that would've driven Avery Schreiber into a jealous rage, prowled the sidelines pre-game in support of his hometown Chiefs!
But if we're talking true, earth-shaking, knock-you-on-your-keister fame, let there be...

T-Pain says he plans to continue to write country music songs as a ghostwriter.
The singer-songwriter-producer recently made headlines when he revealed that he stopped taking credit for the country songs he’s worked on because of the “racism” he dealt with in the genre.
“I wrote a lot of country songs, and the country songs that I get credit on — I wouldn’t say backlash or anything like that — but [there] was a lot of criticism of, ‘Why did they let a Black person be a part of this?’ or things like that. It was just a lot of that stuff. So I kind of just backed off from putting my name on things and just collect the money,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t need to be known for any of that. That’s fine.”
“I’m a ghostwriter [and] it’s just easier,” he continues. “Why not?...
