This article contains spoilers for the TV series Pretty Little Liars.
Several characters took on the villainous mantle of ‘A’ across Pretty Little Liars’ seven seasons. Some were the true masterminds behind the plans for the Liars’ downfall, while others served as minions on the ‘A’ Team, there to do ‘A’s’ bidding and keep tabs on what the Liars were up to. Not every ‘A’ or member of the ‘A’ Team is equal though, with some being significantly more terrifying than others.
Here’s every person who was officially part of the ‘A’ conspiracy ranked by general scariness as blackmailers, stalkers, and criminal masterminds and by how satisfying their reveal was in the series.
13. Lucas Gottesman, Melissa Hastings
Lucas (Brendan Robinson) and Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) are tied for last place because both really only joined the ‘A’ team because they were being blackmailed themselves. Lucas does work with Mona...

Plot: When married couple Cam and Sky move into a property formerly owned by the voyeuristic, homicidal slumlord from the previous films, Cam discovers that the place is still equipped with cameras and monitoring equipment. He begins to follow in the slumlord’s creepy footsteps… while also starting to fear that the slumlord is still lurking around.
Review: In the 2015 film 13 Cameras, writer/director Victor Zarcoff and actor Neville Archambault introduced viewers to one of the most repugnant characters ever put on the screen: slack-jawed, perverted, homicidal slumlord Gerald. That film had one hell of a downer ending, so thankfully it received a sequel three years later – 14 Cameras, with Archambault reprising the role of Gerald and Zarcoff writing the screenplay for Scott Hussion and Seth Fuller to direct. Again, the door was left wide open for a sequel, with Gerald still up to his woman-capturing ways. So it’s good that,...

Model Chrissy Teigen wishes she had written her own wedding vows. The 37-year-old model and her husband John Legend, 44, marked their 10th wedding anniversary last month by returning to their wedding destination of Lake Como, Italy and renewing their vows, which they re-wrote for the occasion, alongside their children Luna, seven, Miles, five, Esti, eight months and three-month-old Wren.
“We were like, well, we’re gonna rewrite them and say them because I have a big hang-up that I didn’t write my own vows (at our wedding), because I was so nervous and just insecure and stuff so I didn’t.”
“So that’s been like a big regret of mine. So if anything it was a chance to redo it and be with people we love, and it worked,” Teigen said to E! News, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Hmmm, now this is something pretty rare. The two films I’m reviewing for this weekend have a few things in common, “subject-wise”. This too concerns an estranged couple reuniting for a non-holiday event. With Raymond & Ray, it’s about two stepbrothers having to travel to their dad’s funeral, while this new release is about an estranged (long-divorced) parents having to travel to their daughter’s wedding. And it’s not a two-hour car trip, but a rather long flight to an exotic island. Oh, and the former marrieds are played by Oscar-winning Hollywood royalty, or about as close as you can get to that. Plus it’s their fourth flick acting opposite each other (fifth if you count when he directed her). So lots of moviegoers are hoping that their chemistry is still potent as they go to their multiplex box office,...

The slick and star-driven Hollywood rom-coms of the pre-Judd Apatow era are having a mini-revival this year. First there was “Marry Me,” which teamed Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson, and now comes “Ticket to Paradise,” a sun-kissed comedy of remarriage with George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
It’s efficient enough, and there are certainly tougher things to watch than two supremely attractive movie icons trading sarcastic insults in a leafy tropical Eden. But the film’s director and co-writer, Ol Parker, is so committed to light, feel-good escapism that he leaves out all of the requisite tension and twists — and, for that matter, the requisite jokes.
Parker’s last film was “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again,” the cheerfully redundant sequel-prequel to “Mamma Mia!” That was a brutal social-realist tract compared to “Ticket to Paradise.”

Radio Silence is continuing their Hollywood horror domination, and this time, they're taking it to the small screen. The directing team behind "Scream" and "Ready or Not" are teaming up with Jennifer Yale to adapt the recently-released crime novel "The Butcher & The Wren" as a television series. Yale will serve as its showrunner, while Radio Silence will direct the episodes. Elisabeth Murdoch, Stacey Snider, and Jane Featherstone are expected to produce the series under their production banner Sister.
"The Butcher & The Wren" was written by Alaina Urquhart and follows a cat-and-mouse game between a mysterious serial killer and accomplished medical examiner Wren Muller. The killer seems to be obsessed with experimenting on their victims, leaving Wren unable to solve the case. Oh my god! This is the best episode ever!
See Season 3 Episode 4 picks up right after Sibeth has managed to slip away during her altercation with Baba Voss and Kofun.
What follows is a majestic escape, more revelations that thicken the plot, betrayal, rescue, and a daring return.
This episode dives more into the politics of Trivante and some struggles of certain characters. Betrayal is a theme that strongly emerged in the episode. Whether it is the triangle being betrayed by one of its own, Trovere being betrayed by Harlan, or Harlan being betrayed by Trovere, there wasn't a shortage of it.
If anyone is benefitting from Baba's return, it is Kofun and Haniwa. For Kofun, he serves the role of a guide. Kofun seems more at ease and more confident with Baba around.
Kofun: Da! Da!
Baba Voss: My son.

Clooney and Roberts – what’s not to like? Throw in an awesome location, like Indonesia and a hefty dose of slushiness and you have writer/director Ol Parker’s new end of summer flick, Ticket to Paradise.
Let’s get one thing straight, this is a ticket to paradise; the location is used beautifully here – in fact it’s the best character. Right up until the point you find out Australia is masquerading as Bali and yes, those dolphins are clearly CGI. As the nights draw in and the mornings give you a chill, the scenery here will transport you to an environment where perhaps you might even fall in love and decide to get married at the drop of a hat; but after watching the next to no chemistry between our two main actors here, you might just think twice.

Double act have some silly fun as a couple sizzling with mutual irritation who head to Bali to sabotage their daughter’s marriage
George Clooney goes into his goofy comedy routine in this feelmoderate romcom from director and co-writer Ol Parker: an intergenerational tale of Crazy Rich Americans going to a wedding. Clooney brings some serious goof: he does his goofy face and the goof is onstream more or less from the outset. This may be to the unease of those who like him in a more sophisticated low-key style, such as in Ocean’s Eleven or Up in the Air, or those who look to the Coens to rein in and shape his broader comedy tendencies, as in O Brother, Where Art Thou? or Intolerable Cruelty.

Romantic comedies have never gone away, but mainstream examples with A-list stars have been pretty thin on the ground since the glory days of the ’90s and early 2000s, when “Pretty Woman,” “Notting Hill,” “Love Actually” and “Bridget Jones’s Diary” ruled at the box office. Bucking the trend is “Ticket to Paradise,” a glossy piece of fluff starring Hollywood royalty Julia Roberts and George Clooney as a divorced couple whose passion reignites in Bali during their hare-brained attempt to prevent their daughter from marrying a guy she’s only just met. While far from a classic of its kind, this is likely to be just the “Ticket” for general viewers relishing the chance to watch Roberts and Clooney trade poisonous barbs, before being struck by Cupid’s arrow all over again.

Sibeth is fucking crazy, and it is long past the time someone does something about her. If only they could catch her!
See Season 3 Episode 3 picks up a little after Maghra and Baba Voss discover that Sibeth had escaped -- or so they thought. What follows is frustration, more hate, a reunion of lovers, a new father, and healing due to Baba's presence.
This episode moved a bit from the threat of the new weapon and focused on individual characters. We got to see a little bit of depth to Charlotte. We saw her inner desires and fears. It also revealed Kofun's objections to being the father of this baby.
Maghra is lucky to have Tamacti on her side. This man has been doing this job for over twenty years, and with that experience, he can't be rivaled. Without Baba and Paris, she doesn't have many people on her side she trusts.

Despite the fact that a teaser trailer has been released, we still don’t know much about Star Wars: Ahsoka, the upcoming Disney+ series from Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau. In fact, we don’t even know when the first season will hit our screens, as official channels still list the show’s premiere as “early 2023.” And yet, star Rosario Dawson is so confident in the show’s success that she’s already calling for a second season.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Dawson indicated that she’s almost finished shooting the series. While that’s certainly good news for fans, Dawson revealed mixed feelings. “But it’s already getting sad because it’s almost over,” she said. But before dropping the subject, the actor did make a bold request. “Hopefully, we’ll get a sequel,” she declared, holding up crossed fingers for extra luck.
At first glance, Dawson’s statement might seem like hubris.

This episode delivered. There are jokes -- as presented by Sibeth, action, romance, tension, treaties, two escapes, and of course, Baba Voss.
The attack by the Trivantian scientist shocks Baba. For as long as he has been alive -- or even anyone else he knows for that matter has been, never have the ever a been a weapon so powerful. They are used to swords, spears, arrows, stones, and hand-to-hand combat.

Welcome back!
As far as season premieres go, this was a great one. Right off, from the first frame, we jump into the unique action of See.
See Season 3 Episode 1 takes place two hundred and fifty-six days after the events of the See Season 2 finale. On "Heavy Hangs the Head," we see how everyone is faring, what kind of headspace they are in, and how they react to the events happening around them.
The big bad of this season is introduced through Wren. After Baba defeats Edo, Wren is like the do facto leader, having climbed ranks to become Commander Wren.
Edo was a great authority figure for the Trivantians and the soldiers who fell under his command.
Trivantians are not faring on well after Edo dies. This battle that they lose is just but one of the three they have lost in as many days.
Initially, when I heard...

Review: When AppleTV+ launched in November 2019, See was one of the marquee series that premiered with it. Led by Jason Momoa, See was designed to be Apple’s equivalent of Game of Thrones replete with warring factions, palace intrigue, and a good amount of sex. With the added twist that the post-apocalyptic series existed in a world without sight, Steven Knight’s epic show would have a unique twist to set it apart. After a slow-paced first season, See came back with an improved sophomore season that benefited from...

Teen horror Red Rose arrived on BBC Three this week to ruin the sacred relationship between a youth and their phone. As if the internet wasn’t scary enough already, in Red Rose a sinister app appears to drive teenagers to commit suicide. Is it supernatural? Who’s behind it? Why? And who will it strike next? This Bolton-set chiller is refreshingly funny at the same time as being super dark. Created by Michael and Paul Clarkson who have horror pedigree as producers on The Haunting of Bly Manor, the show features a strong ensemble cast of scrappy Northerners who call their collective group ‘the dickheads’. Over eight episodes the mystery of Red Rose slowly unfolds with some big old twist right up to the conclusion. Let’s break down the big questions posed by that ending.
Is Red Rose supernatural?
Nope, turns out man made. It’s not...

Social media is bad and scary, young women are frequently horrible to each other and everyone spends too much time on their phones is actually Not the main take away from the first three episodes of this sort-of-ya sort-of-horror series new to BBC Three. It’s actually a lot more nuanced than that in a series that initially plays like a mash up of 2010s horror, 1990s teen drama and Derry Girls’ potty-mouth rough-and-ready sense of humour. Weird combo though that may sound, in Red Rose it works, picking the best of the tropes, populating the show with likeable and believable characters and sprinkling modern social realism into the mix.
