T.J. Alex
- Writer
- Producer
Born in Beaumont, Texas and an avid movie watcher his entire life, T. J. Alex began writing screenplays in 2005 when he started New York City's largest screenplay club, The New York Script Club. He quickly discovered he had a unique knack for storytelling and preferred helping other budding screenplay writers with their scripts. He worked as a screenplay teacher and editor for around 15 years before finally deciding to work on his own ideas.
With his third script, he adapted the book Confessions of a Union Buster for the big screen, which the late Ed Asner quickly signed on to as executive producer. T. J. was quickly attached as a writer and producer to multiple other projects, and his writing career flourished from there. T. J. Alex is considered a story specialist and script expert. Producers, directors, and filmmakers, reach out to him anytime they think their screenplays need a little work or their stories need improvement.
He lives in a small town in East Texas with his wife, three kids, and a multitude of furry creatures.
