Lord of the Rings is one of the most iconic and culturally significant fantasy series of all time. Having one of the most dedicated fans, a story like no other, and a world-building that is deeply immersive for the audience, it is no wonder the film series is so loved. The three films were released back to back between 2001 and 2003, having some of the most visually stunning sequences at the time.

Interestingly enough, it would seem that the cats also have some say when it comes to these shots. During an interview, Karl Urban revealed that Viggo Mortensen had a very specific vision and wanted to take a shot of the hit character with Legolas and Gimli. What started off as an expression of creativity, ended with Orlando Bloom throwing up, mid-shooting.

The Lord of the Rings franchise has enchanted audiences worldwide with its masterful storytelling and breathtaking visuals across three epic adventure films. At the heart of this fantastical journey lies Aragorn, portrayed by the talented Viggo Mortensen, embodying the noble lineage and resolute spirit of the ancient king of Gondor.
Recently, two beloved actors Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd, who portrayed the lovable hobbits Merry and Pippin respectively, have stirred up quite a buzz with their whimsical desire.
Viggo Mortensen as Aragon
They desired to be laid to rest alongside the fictional king they so adored, Aragorn. However, Mortensen did not find himself enticed by the prospect of becoming a real-life burial companion to his former co-stars.
As a result, Monaghan and Boyd’s fanciful notion sparked excitement among fans.

TikTok has taken the world by storm — skyrocketing in use amid the pandemic as a source of entertainment and human connection — and now it wants to change the way Hollywood markets movies and TV series. The social video platform is hoping to make inroads at its first Sundance Film Festival — and it’s bringing a dozen people from its creators program to Park City.
Catherine Halaby, the head of entertainment for TikTok in North America, says Sundance creates an opportunity to support established and emerging creators and “uplevel their content and their industry savvy and their exposure.” She adds, “We’re really thinking from a content-first perspective and how we can be an accelerant to those creators in their growth on and off platform.”
Two of those creators spoke with The Hollywood Reporter ahead of the trip. Joe Aragon, known on TikTok as Cinema Joe, has more than 1 million followers,...

Let's get something clear, "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" has the perfect number of endings, and they are what makes this such an incredible and inimitable trilogy.
There are about 27 minutes of film between the moment the ring goes back into the fiery chasm from whence it came. This includes Frodo and Sam being rescued by eagles. A reunion with the fellowship. The coronation of Aragorn. The return to The Shire. And finally, Frodo sailing off into the West with the elves.
A lesser movie would just end with the reunion and tell all the rest via text on the screen. A slightly better movie would choose to end with The Coronation, as everyone in Minas Tirith kneels before the hobbits, the real heroes. After all, that is the end of the story. The evil has been defeated, and the titular king has returned. But...

There is nothing more fulfilling than an ultra-specific Lego set. You’ve seen the Lego Central Perk building set, the “Seinfeld” apartment, complete with hidden superman stickers and a festivus pole, and perhaps most impressive, their colossal 6,000-piece “Lord of the Rings” Rivendell set.
One of the most popular Lego sets is a reconstruction of the “Home Alone” house, which always sees a peak in sales ahead of the holidays.
Crazy specificity is power of Lego. Are you deeply into mythology and Roman history, there’s a Lego set for that. Marvel fan? Take your pick of the countless Lego offerings. Here is our list of our favorite Lego sets to buy right now.

Before author J.K. Rowling — on whose book series the films are based — said some awful, unforgivable, transphobic things, the "Harry Potter" franchise hooked audiences around the world. As someone who used to stand outside bookstores for the midnight launches of "Harry Potter" books, I can tell you that I was totally hooked.
For those who weren't into the books, the craze must have seemed bananas. People wandering around Universal Studios Hollywood's Wizarding World in the hot California summers, dressed in polyester wizard robes, waving their wands at walls ... well, we all looked nuts. If you didn't love the series the way fans did, the budget alone for these films would make a person cringe.
British actor Sir John Hurt, who played wand shop owner Garrick Ollivander, had some rather disparaging things to say about how much money was spent on these films, though put in context, it makes sense.

“They want us to stop certain things and for us to lose money to show support, but if the roles were reversed, would they do the same?” wonders Emanuel Rodriguez, whose 8-year-old son Logan Winter is a superhero-centered content creator who frequently does partnerships with Marvel and DC.
Rodriguez is now among the sea of influencers wondering how to move forward during the actors strike, after SAG-AFTRA released a strict set of guidelines for influencers when the work stoppage began July 13. The rules state that “influencers should not accept any new work for promotion of struck companies or their content” at this time and should even refrain from posting about struck work in an organic, non-paid capacity (though if “already under contract to promote struck work, then the influencer should fulfill their work obligation”). The rules also warn that “any non-member seeking future membership in SAG-AFTRA who performs covered work...
