Gordon was out in Vegas for Ufc International Fight Week -- where he impressed a lot of people with his 1st round victory over Lima -- and told us he's just as lethal in the kitchen. "I put it down in the kitchen," Gordon says ... "Emeril ain't got nothin' on me.

A Ufc fighter stepping into the octagon has plenty to worry about. He or she can be punched, kicked, choked, broken, submitted and beaten to a pulp, and this is all within the rules of the sport. While eye gouges and low blows are not legal in the Ufc, they are not highly punished infractions. In fact, it usually takes the second, if not the third repeated violation of the rule to warrant deduction of a point. This would allow any reasonable strategist to assume their fighter is allowed one eye gauge and one groin shot per match. Compare it to say a foot fault on a serve in tennis. If you wanted to purposely serve it out of bounds, it is within your right under the rules of the game. Obviously, both strikes, the groin and eye gauge, if thrown singular, should not lead to a point deduction. Yet...
