[Nb: With the film finally set for a UK DVD release under the title of Sin, some 2 years after its Us debut, here's my (old) review of Bloody Bloody Bible Camp from its original Us release]
Remember those ultra-gory slasher movies that were released to cash-in on the slasher-movie boom that followed the release of Friday the 13th? You know the ones, those that proliferated the shelves of video stores everywhere in the 80s? Well Sin, aka Bloody Bloody Bible Camp, is much like those – a low-budget, ultra-gory slasher, only this time round we’re treated to a gloriously camp take on the genre that sends up the movies it’s paying homage to, the catholic church, and Jesus Christ himself!
Sin, aka Bloody Bloody Bible Camp, opens with a 70s set prologue that straight away goes for the jugular as a group of miscreant teens at the Happy Day Bible Camp feel the wrath of Sister Mary Chopper who...

Not content with just being another pretty face, Jeff Dylan Graham pushed himself in a new direction by becoming a film director with Psychosomatika. This pet project of his has been in the works for numerous years now as Jeff has gone back and tweaked the film over and over again. However, this isn't to say that Jeff Dylan Graham has given up on acting. That can further from the truth. He has a starring role in Vito Trabucco's Bloody Bloody Bible Camp which co-stars Reggie Bannister, Ron Jeremy and of course Tim Sullivan as the Sister Mary Chopper! Here's what Jeff Dylan Graham had to say about these films.

You just did your own film, Psychosomatika. What made you want to reach beyond being just an actor and get into scripting and directing?...

Director Vito Trabuco’s Bloody Bloody Bible Camp looks set to be a gory return to the golden age of the classic 80s slasher. The film was written by director Vito along with his partner Shelby McIntyre, and features a veritable who’s who of exploitation – Ron Jeremy, Reggie Bannister and 2001 Maniacs director Tim Sullivan as transvestite killer-nun Sister Mary Chopper!
Last month saw the release of the first trailer for the film, and now – thanks to Rebellion Entertainment’s Facebook page – we have a handful of gore-soaked stills from the movie. Check them out:

So what is Bloody Bloody Bible Camp about?
In short, its about a group of Christian Bible Campers who stay the weekend at an old campground where 7 years earlier, there was a massacre at the hands of Sister Mary Chopper. The rest is probably pretty easy to figure out.
What was the inspiration behind the film?
My co-writer and me, Shelby McIntyre, share a love for old B-Movies. We wrote this pretty easily. I think our main inspiration was just to make a great comedy. When our exec producer Christopher Maltauro hopped on board, he gave us all the freedom to make it as far out as possible.
What was the budget for the film?
Still counting.
How did you go about getting that cast?
Reggie Bannister was the first cast. He and Gigi brought on Tim Sullivan to do Sister Mary Chopper. Most of the younger cast was through auditions.

Hey peeps, I came across this fun video of director Vito Trabucco's Bloody Bloody Bible Camp today and thought I'd share it. This clip totally reminds me of the 70's-early 80's slashers! You can see the influence and this is going to be a fun film for everybody.
Some of the reasons why this film is going to be awesome, well you have Tim Sullivan taking a break from directing playing Sister Mary Chopper, that's right! Horror film icon Reggie Bannister is starring and producing along with wife Gigi Bannister. Even Ron Jeremy is in this film, I heard he's playng Jesus? Shelby McIntyre co-wrote the film with Trabucco.
Let us know how you like the clip and if you can see the slasher influence!

Director Vito Trabuco’s is heading back to the 80s with his forthcoming horror comedy Bloody Bloody Bible Camp. The film was written by director Vito along with his partner Shelby McIntyre, and stars non-other than director Tim Sullivan as transvestite killer-nun Sister Mary Chopper!
Dread Central have the first look at footage from Bloody Bloody Bible Camp which looks to be as wild and insane as Sullivan’s 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams!
Reggie Bannister also stars in the film alongside Sullivan, and the hairy hedgehog himself Ron Jeremy. According to reports, Ron Jeremy plays Jesus(!), and Reggie Bannister plays a priest.

Producer Lance Polland dropped us a note to let us know that the first footage from Bloody Bible Camp has made its way online for you all to dig on! Whatcha waitin' for? Christ doesn't have all day!
The film stars 2001 Maniacs director Tim Sullivan as Sister Mary Chopper, a killer transvestite nun (talk about having us at hello). Said Sullivan of the project, "Vito Tribuco’s horror comedy Bloody Bloody Bible Camp, which Vito wrote with his partner Shelby McIntyre, is infused with the same splatstick soul as Field Of Screams. I knew I had to get involved the minute producers Reggie and Gigi Bannister rang me up and asked me to hop on board. Did I mention Reggie plays a priest with whom I do battle? Oh, yeah. And Ron Jeremy plays Jesus. It’s a total knock-out gore/comedy/boob fest that doesn’t just cross the...

2001 Maniacs director Tim Sullivan dropped us a line with a first look at the upcoming horror comedy Bloody Bloody Bible Camp, which promises to be all sorts of blasphemous!
Just got back from Lake Arrowhead, where I fulfilled my lifelong ambition of playing a slasher - though it wasn’t exactly as I expected! Yup, I played the killer transvestite nun “Sister Mary Chopper” in Vito Tribuco’s horror comedy Bloody Bloody Bible Camp, which Vito wrote with his partner Shelby McIntyre. Today we welcome a new blogger to the World of Fangoria. FX Artist Marcus Koch has become a fixture at our Fango 'Cons since racking up credits on the indie circuit for the past several years. The Director of 100 Tears recently found himself doing FX on the film Sinners & Saints, and on Herschell Gordon Lewis' anticipated Grim Fairy Tale - the latter of which is the subject of his first blog here on Fangoria.com
And now, we turn it over to Marcus...
Where do I begin? To start things off, let me first say it has been a great honor to work for Herschell Gordon Lewis. I grew up watching his movies as a kid (thanks mom and dad)! What gorehound hasn't? And I knew from a very early age that's what I wanted to do.
So fast forward many years from my childhood dream, and let's stop...

A fight has just broken out on the set of a new movie, and B-flick veteran Joel D. Wynkoop is being dragged, kicking and screaming, through the warehouse studio by producer Andrew Allan. Tensions tend to run high on any film shoot, and 10 hours into a 17-hour day, it’s not uncommon for a fuse or two to blow.
But, at just about the time Allan drags Wynkoop through the soundstage door, the film’s director triggers a cue and the collected cast and crew placate an adrenalin-fueled Allen with two very calming words: April Fool!
At the age of 82, the culturally anointed Godfather of Gore, Herschell Gordon Lewis, is back behind the lens on his 37th feature film, Grim Fairy Tale (first exclusive photos at right and below). The movie, produced by Andy Lalino and Allan of the Film Ranch company, marks his first true return to form; his...
