Dwayne Johnson flew in as DC Super Hero Black Adam during Warner Bros. Pictures theatrical panel at Saturday’s Comic Con panel. This guy know how to make an entrance!
“Hall H, you have been warned. The DC universe will never be the same again,” boomed Johnson.

The Hollywood Reporter said during the panel discussion:
Johnson tackled an age-old question: who would win in a fight, Black Adam or Superman? Earlier in the week, rumors circulated that Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill might show up or send a video message for the panel, but that didn’t come to fruition.
Said the actor of a matchup between the DC characters: “Pound for pound, they are pretty close. I guess it probably all depends on who is playing Superman.

New York City, 1978. The 20 blocks of pawnshops, porn palaces and dive bars between 8th Avenue and the Hudson River owned by the Irish mafia and known as Hell’s Kitchen was never the easiest place to live. Or the safest. But for mob wives Kathy, Ruby and Claire–played by Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, and Elisabeth Moss–things are about to take a radical, dramatic turn. When their husbands are sent to prison by the FBI the women take business into their own hands, running the rackets and taking out the competition…literally. Now they own the neighborhood. The gritty, female-driven mob drama “The Kitchen,” from New Line Cinema and Bron Creative, is written and directed by Andrea Berloff, who was nominated for an Oscar for Original Screenplay for “Straight Outta Compton.”

We absolutely can’t wait for April 5th when “Shazam!” will be gracing the big screen and will certainly be an uplifting addition to the DC Extended Universe. The second official trailer for the film has dropped and from what we can see, “Shazam!” will be the perfect blend of both action and comedy that spells out box office success!
You can check out the second official trailer below:
About “Shazam!”
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Asher Angel) case, by shouting out one word—Shazam!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Zachary Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard (Djimon Hounsou). Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them!

As far back as I can remember, tie-in comics were just something to be expected whenever a new superhero movie arrived in cinemas. To this day, I still have my copies of adaptations for Batman Returns and Batman Forever. But unfortunately, the industry has somewhat shied away from this practice over the years, with such books now being few and far between.
And although it’s not necessarily a straight-up adaptation of the upcoming Justice League flick by any means, it’s pretty cool to see the medium that inspired the blockbuster hasn’t been forgotten. Much like the various variant covers that’ll soon flood comic shops, this new line of digital motion comics should do a decent job of whetting our appetites.
It started as a simple joyride. When they confront a raging fire, will Barry Allen and Victor Stone’s superpowers be enough to save the day?...
