Fans of Once Upon a Time know what’s coming in “The Crocodile”, the fourth episode of newly minted second season of ABC’s fantasy/drama. Captain Hook! From the episode description it looks like we will first see Colin O’Donoghue as the famous pirate in the fairytale land in the mix with Rumplestiltskin, and for that reason, perhaps we don’t see him in this gallery of images from ”The Crocodile” (Edit: more images from the episode, now featuring Hook!). What we Do get is hard to complain about, as Emilie De Ravin is the focus, as Belle in blue. ”The Crocodile”, however, is 2 episodes down the road, and this Sunday you have ogres to deal with, and we’ve brought you the teaser and photos from “The Lady of the Lake” (2.03) previously.
“The Crocodile” (2.04) has an official episode summary that goes like this:

MTV News 'Idol' experts share their choices for Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Phillips Phillips.
By Gil Kaufman and James Montgomery
Joshua Ledet and Phillip Phillips on "American Idol"

The "American Idol" season 11 top three have a lot to prove as we head into Wednesday night's (May 16) second-to-last lap.
Likely winner Phillip Phillips has skated through virtually unscathed by pretty much doing a season-long homage to Dave Matthews, while Joshua Ledet has thrilled us with his gritty soul shouting but failed to show much personality along the way (unless you count that one week he wore a flower in his lapel). And Jessica Sanchez? Well, the 16-year-old definitely has powerful pipes and is a diva in the waiting, but she's still not quite ready for prime time.
All three will be tested this week when they have to sing three songs: a judges' choice, a tune...

Once Upon a Time is heading into its first season finale next week with the episode “A Land Without Magic,” and the only question I have on my mind is whether or not this series can bring together a riveting finale that will cause me to reflect differently on the bulk of the show’s freshman run and get me excited for what’s to come in Season 2. Down below you can find the teaser images for the episode that focus heavily on the status of Henry after he took a bite from Regina’s poisoned apple, which was meant for Emma. Will his life be saved or will we be spared of his annoying voice?

They can’t all be winners. That old adage applies to the dozens of vocalists who’ve already appeared on The Voice‘s second season, but it’s also a fitting way to describe Monday night’s ho-hum episode.
Of the 14 contestants we saw advancing to the Battle Rounds, only two or three sounded like legitimate contenders to assume Javier Colon’s throne. But perhaps even more distressing, after four audition episodes, the show’s editors have settled into a predictable rhythm that makes it all too easy to divert some of your attention to folding laundry or sorting mail...

As told to Marc Snetiker:
This was a tricky episode. It was halftime before last night’s episode started to air. The coaches came out in the third quarter, and slots are really starting to fill up, and last night was a good example of the coaches being their pickiest. And when they’re their most picky, you start to see some good people get away… or you see them pick some people who they otherwise maybe would have liked to have not picked. Their judgment comes in question when they get really, really picky.

I gave you fair warning that this week’s episode was a wild one. We started by making the short trip over from Sonoma to Ben’s hometown of San Francisco. I love this seemingly simple change in the show of going to locations that mean so much to our bachelor. Obviously we always travel to the contestants’ hometowns towards the end of the season, but this is completely different. It’s great for these women to see Ben in his hometown and get a real glimpse of what life will be like with him… minus Matt Nathanson, climbing the Bay Bridge,...

Welcome back to a very special edition of The Bachelor. I know you’ve heard that before, but all kidding aside this season is incredibly special for those of us who have put our heart and soul into this franchise. Seems like the major labels will continue to mine the nostalgia angle with the hope that they can squeeze a few more ducats from aging music fans everywhere. Fine by me, if the music merits the "super-deluxe-never-before-heard-or-seen" treatment. And since I've been sucked into that black hole with the Dead, Stones, Rush, Hendrix, Jesus & Mary Chain, et al., I've missed some amazing music and culture this past year. No excuses now as I cram a full year's worth of culture down my gullet before Christmas. You can check out more of my favorite culture from 2011 in these Spring, Summer, and Fall articles.

Cher, 16, from Malvern in Worcestershire was first seen impressing Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Natalie Imbruglia at her initial audition, when she sang Turn My Swag On by Soulja Boy. On Sunday’s bootcamp show, Cher wowed Nicole Scherzinger with her original take on Coldplay’s Viva La Vida.
Aiden was first seen on the talent show, singing Gold-digger by Kanye West for Simon, Louis and guest judge Nicole Scherziner. On the recent bootcamp show, he was seen performing David Gray’s ‘This Year’s Love’ for the panel, which helped him win a place in the judges houses round.

Whoever came up with the idea to have these two emotive troubadours tour together was a marketing genius. David Gray and Ray Lamontagne have two of the most distinctive and recognizable singing voices on the music scene today, and seeing them back-to-back on September 8 at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles in concert was a delight to behold for both my fiancée and me.
Up first was Ray Lamontagne. I had seen him in concert before, but for that performance he was solo and played more of his softer tunes. This time, though, Ray was accompanied by a ...

Ray Lamontagne is living his dream and, unlike so many dreams, his seems to have never been a soft, misty vision. Talking to him, it is clear that his dream -- writing and performing music -- came upon him with a force that was so overwhelming he had to pursue it. That the dream has come true is easy to see by the fact that God Willin' & The Creek Don't Rise, his fourth album, was released two weeks ago and debuted this week on several of the Billboard charts: at #3 in the Top 200; at #1 on the digital, rock and folk charts and at #4 on the Canadian chart. During an interview Wednesday prior to his Friday night gig with David Gray at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, he apologized a couple...

Eminem still stays strong atop Billboard Hot 200. With additional 116,000 copies (down 12%), his latest studio album "Recovery" which has gone double platinum last week secures the first position on the U.S. albums chart for seven non-consecutive weeks out of the nine weeks since its release.
Thus, the June 21 release scores most weeks atop the list since Taylor Swift's "Fearless" spent 11 non-consecutive weeks in the hot spot in late 2008 and early 2009. Moreover, it notches up the most weeks at No. 1 for an album by any male artist since Usher's "Confession" secured the first place for nine weeks in 2004 and for a Hip-Hop effort since OutKast's "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below" did seven in late 2003 and early 2004.
Blocked by Eminem from taking this week's Hot 200 crown is Kem. His third studio installment "Intimacy" debuts at the runner-up position with 74,000 units. The next slot also belongs to another new release, Ray Lamontagne's...

How strong is Eminem's run at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart? In addition to locking down the #1 spot for seven out of the nine weeks since its release, Slim Shady will manage to hold his perch next week despite a rush of four new titles debuting in the top five.
The rapper, who was just added to the roster of performers at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, will keep his pole position again thanks to sales of 116,000, which pushed his to-date total above the 2.2 million mark, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.
He also fended off four contenders, led by R&B singer Kem, whose Intimacy was well behind at #2 (74,000), followed by the latest from sandpaper-voiced singer Ray Lamontagne and his band the Pariah Dogs,...

David Gray has revealed that taking time away from the spotlight made him feel more creative. The 'Babylon' singer told The AP that shunning publicity and not having a record deal allowed him to be more prolific while recording new music. "I didn't have a record contract," Gray said. "I had no-one telling me to stop, so once the music began to flow... I felt like it gave me a completely new lease of life. I got into a very creative mode.'' The musician is now planning to release a second album of new material in less than a year. "At a certain point I looked at all this sort of sprawling massive material and decided there was two (more)...

"Please Forgive Me." "This Year's Love." "Sail Away." You know the deal by now. David Gray's honest lyrics and smooth, crisp sound have melted hearts and mesmerized us for over a decade now. At an iTunes exclusive Live Session in the SoHo Apple Store on Aug. 16, the British electro-pop-rock-folk singer once again captivated a crowd of fans, but also seemed to be in a trance himself...in a good way obviously. During a 45-minute solo set showcasing songs off his new stellar album "Foundling" (out today - Aug. 17), Gray clenched his eyes, and swiftly stamped his left foot (a tick, he explained) while playing piano or guitar in front of a crowd of 50 people or so (that's not counting the walker-bys). The image of the singer literally in his own world, feeling his own music and...

Eminem might lend you the crown for a week, but this summer's chart king is not ready to abdicate his throne just yet. A week after falling back to #2, Slim Shady's Recovery will be back on top of the Billboard 200 albums charts next week thanks to sales of 133,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.
That means that not only did Em cross the 2.1 million mark in just eight weeks, but he pushes back last week's #1, Arcade Fire's The Suburbs, to #2, as the Canadian indie rockers saw a steep (66 percent) decline on sales of 52,000. Among the newcomers in the top 10 are the Camp Rock 2 soundtrack (#3, 41,000) and the latest from Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society, Order of the Black (#4, 33,000); country singer Blake Shelton with All About Tonight (#6, 33,000); and college crooner Mike Posner,...

David Gray has criticised The X Factor, calling it "meaningless tripe". The singer, who sold over 7 million copies of his album White Ladder, admitted that he doesn't like the show because it is designed purely to entertain the masses. After being asked for his opinion on Jedward, he told The Observer: "I wasn't even going to dignify that with a response. It's just meaningless tripe that's entertaining everyone royally." Speaking of the mainstream music industry, he added: "It's hostile terrain. (more)...

Either the eight men on “American Idol” are reading my mind (and/or my stories), or this show is getting way too predictable in season nine. Yesterday, I made my suggestions for what the remaining eight-pack needed to do to avoid going home and, freakishly, I was kind of dead-on with a couple of them.
Okay, Aaron Kelly didn’t take my advice and sing a Kris Allen or David Gray ballad -- which isn’t totally why he’s probably going home -- and Todrick Hall went in the absolute opposite direction, ignoring my suggestion to sing something by Usher and opting instead for Queen.
But I totally cracked wise about how lucky-to-even-be-there singer Tim Urban would definitely be packing his bags … unless he was getting secret voice lessons from the ghost of Jeff Buckley. And guess what? He sang Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” which, as you probably know,...

James Blunt's Back To Bedlam album has been named as the biggest-selling album of the last decade. According to statistics from the Official Charts Company, the 2005 album beat Dido's No Angel into second place. Amy Winehouse's 2006 entry Back To Black was third, while X-Factor winner Leona Lewis was number four with 2007's Spirit. David Gray rounded off the top five with his 2000 effort, White Ladder. But it wasn't all doom and gloom - at number six was The Beatles' 1 compilation, which made the top spot in the Us chart.
