Just when Alex thought he mastered the act of adulting, he went ahead and did something so terrible, it could have repercussions for the rest of his life.
The fallout from Alex's bludgeoning of Andrew was felt throughout Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Episode 1. Avoiding the consequences of his actions was only going to last for so long.

He afterwards continued to shoot for Jackson, lensing "King Kong," The Lovely Bones" and "The Hobbit" trilogy. "Andrew Lesnie and Peter Jackson would giggle behind the camera together like the most mischievous pair of movie masters that I've seen," said film critic Harry Knowles, who visited the set of "The Lord of the Rings." Jackson's New Zealand production house, Weta Digital, posted their condolences on Facebook: "Our memories of Andrew will always be of a wonderful and caring person who looked out for the technicians around him, was keen to have a good laugh and keep everyone jollied along, even when things were at the most stressful for everyone." Thankfully, some casting news came out today, and while it has nothing to do with Skye (or should I say Daisy?) and where we left off in that final scene, it’s definitely still interesting. As The Hollywood Reporter first reported, two-time Golden Globe nominee Blair Underwood will join Agents of Shield in a recurring role as Melinda May’s (Ming-Na Wen) “estranged ex-husband Dr. Andrew Garner.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, Underwood will make his Agents of Shield debut in one of the show’s first episodes back in March. Whiplash has been one of the most talked about films of the year, and with good reason! Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons give incredible performances that leave audiences in awe.
Andrew Neyman (Miles Teller) is an ambitious young drummer fighting against all odds to be the best. His parents are certainly not on board, yet Andrew will do everything in his power to achieve greatness. While attending a music conservatory on the east coast, Andrew lands a once in a lifetime opportunity to play for Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons), a professor known for having one of the best jazz ensembles in the country. Andrew soon becomes obsessed with mastering his craft while Terence is dead set on either breaking his spirit or making him the best drummer he can possibly be.
From the first moments of this film it’s clear that there is a lot of talent on the screen.

In anticipation of the home entertainment release of The Tunnel, HeyUGuys had the privilege to speak with one of the show’s more shadowy characters, Stephen Beaumont, played by Joseph Mawle.
With an open and honest reflection on his career to date, Mawle looked back to how dressing up in his youth set him on a collision course with the big and small screen, and the unenviable task of playing a Stark under George R.R. Martin’s ruthless pen. During our conversation he offered an in-depth commentary on the show in which he spoke enthusiastically about the dark undertones of The Tunnel and its exploration of moral ambiguity, before looking ahead to two of his upcoming film projects.

The project first begat notoriety when a clip of a short film (being shopped by WWE) was leaked on the internet. Then, in swooped FilmNation and the Bandito Brothers, and like magic, the short film is being turned into a feature entitled The Prototype. According to Bandito Brothers’ producer Max Leitman, The Prototype “combines immersive action and a high-concept story, to the big screen.” FilmNation’s Glen Basner added: “I loved Andrew’s short and immediately saw the potential for a thrilling and cool film. After working with the Bandito Brothers on Act of Valor, I know this will be one of the most exciting action films to date.”

It's no wonder studios are clamoring since the trailer leaked for their new action thriller The Prototype. “The Prototype” may look like an elaborate cinematic scene in a new groovy sci-fi videogame, but it’s actually a $40 million dollar sci-fi action film from writer/director Andrew Will, who along with the Bandito Brothers (the not-really-brothers guys behind “Act of Valor”), has shot the movie and is now selling it to studios, similar to how the Bandito Brothers did with their Navy SEALs movie. There is no official plot synopsis for “The Prototype”, but I think you can take a gander at the 3-plus minute teaser trailer (more like a ass-whuppin promo sizzle reel, if you ask me) and figure it out. Basically, a scientist invents a cool military machine of some sort, somehow ends up “wearing” it, bad guys try to kill him, cops try to arrest him, and very cool action stuff happens. The only recognizable face in the cast to me is Neal McDonough of “Band of Brothers” fame.

What is “The Prototype”? From the looks of it, it’s a badass, balls-to-the-wall sci-fi action movie due out in 2013. The film was apparently produced, shot under the radar, and beyond the reach of the Hollywood studios, similar to how Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh (re: The Bandito Brothers) did their Navy SEALs movie “Act of Valor”. That film wasn’t shown until it was completed and the creative team put it out to the various studios to bid on. It appears writer/director Andrew Will and his producing partner Shawn Wallace are approaching “The Prototype” in similar faction. And in fact, the Bandito Brothers are co-producers. As far as I can tell, the film is about a new military weapons design of some sort that takes over its inventor. Or he takes it over. Well, one of those. I don’t know who the lead is, and in fact,...

The Bandito Brothers surprised a lot of people with Act of Valor earlier this year, a small-budget feature starring active-duty members of the military which provided a fresh perspective on a tired genre. If you don't already know Ruairi Robinson's name, go back through our archive [1] of previous reports on the young director to check out his short films like The Silent City [2] and Blinky [3], then come back to this announcement of a new feature for which he's been tapped to direct. In November of last year the director was attached [4] to a sci-fi thriller script called The Animators. Now he has been announced as the director of another sci-fi film called The Fallen. Variety [5] reports that the story involves the aftermath of an alien ship crash-landing in Russia. "When it creates a 400-mile electronic dead-zone, international special ops teams are sent in to neutralize it." Reminds me of an action-oriented take on the Andrei Tarkovsky sci-fi classic Stalker. The Russian setting and 'dead zone' naturally suggest Stalker, but if we ever see The Fallen I suspect that any real similarity between...

Some say it's already happened, but one day some type of spaceship or unidentified flying object will crash land on Earth on a grand scale and not in the middle of the desert somewhere. Funny how that's always the case.
According to Variety Lionsgate U.K. has reteamed with Harry Brown producer Kris Thykier to produce high-concept sci-fi flick The Fallen.
The estimated $35 million film, which marks Lionsgate U.K.'s fourth foray into the production arena, is about an alien spaceship that crash lands in Russia. When it creates a 400-mile electronic dead-zone, international special ops teams are sent in to neutralize it.
Lionsgate U.K. will finance part of the pic, which, according to CEO Zygi Kamasa, "will probably need a U.S. partner," and will co-produce alongside Thykier's PeaPie Films.
Irish helmer Ruairi Robinson directs and is developing the project with Thykier and Lionsgate.

The aliens are coming! They’re attacking the Wild West, invading Los Angeles, battling it out with Inner City UK kids — and now, they’ve started falling out of the sky. Which, I guess, makes defeating them easier, am I right? Lionsgate UK has teamed up with “Harry Brown” producer Kris Thykier for “The Fallen” (not to be confused with that movie about transforming robots seeking revenge). “The Fallen” is expected to be a $35 million dollar sci-fi movie that will revolve around “an alien spaceship that crash lands in Russia. When it creates a 400-mile electronic dead-zone, international special ops teams are sent in to neutralize it.” Former visual effects man Ruairi Robinson, who has a handful of short films under his belt (including the short film “Blinky”, below), will make his feature film debut on “The Fallen”. He’ll be directing from an original script by Andrew Will. Blinky...

There are suddenly a lot of options for Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski. Four years ago he was directing CGI-laden commercials for popular video games properties, before his Tr2N concept video wowed Disney executives and Comic-Con geeks.
Fast forward to 2008 and he’s officially the director of Disney’s $170+ million revival of a decades-old science fiction classic, one that ultimately stopped short of $400 million worldwide. Tron: Legacy wasn’t particularly a smash hit once you tabulate all the numbers, but big enough for Disney to plan another sequel and land Kosinski plenty more high-paying jobs.
As of right now, Kosinski is lining up to direct Oblivion (also called Horizons) possibly at Universal with mega-star Tom Cruise attached to lead the bleak, post-apocalyptic story of an Earth populated by alien scavengers. Disney scooped up the pitch, which came in the form of a stylized graphic novel (images here) and eventually...

Tron 3 may be in his future, and his pet project Oblivion has Tom Cruise in line for a starring role, but now there’s word that Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski is also attached to direct an extraterrestrial thriller, titled Archangel.
Variety lets us know that the original script was written by Andrew Will, but the rewrites are currently being done by The Gray Man screenwriter Adam Cozad. Cozad also did the script for Moscow, which is Paramount’s upcoming Jack Ryan reboot that’s set to star Chris Pine. New Regency is behind the film, which has been described as being centered around “a secret unit of the military that tracks and hunts down aliens among us.” Does Men in Black come to mind for anyone else?

Hollywood just cannot seem to get enough alien flicks lately. Little green men abound everywhere you look. And you know what else? The lil bastids are reproducing faster than rabbits.
According to Variety, The Gray Man scribe Adam Cozad has signed on to write Archangel, New Regency's extraterrestrial thriller with Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski attached to helm.
Navid McIlhargey will oversee the project for the shingle, which signed Cozad after being impressed with his work on the upcoming Regency and Shine thriller Gray Man, directed by James Gray. That script, based on the Mark Greaney novel, made the 2010 Black List.
Scott Free is producing Archangel, based on a script by Andrew Will, which centers around a secret unit of the military that tracks and hunts down aliens among us.

Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski is attaching to direct new alien flick Archangel. The film follows "a secret unit of the military that tracks and hunts down aliens living among us." More after the jump. First-time scribe Andrew Will wrote the script, which will go through a rewrite from Adam Cozad (who wrote the script that will likely become the next Jack Ryan flick). Before Archangel, Kosinski will direct Oblivion, a high-concept sci-fi flick about a mysterious White Cube trying to repopulate a post-apocalyptic Earth. Kosinski wrote Oblivion while he was working on Tron. Disney has the rights to it, but "attempts to turn it into a PG film were strangling it,"...

Adam Cozad, the young writer who penned The Gray Man thriller, has signed on to write Archangel for New Regency. Back in the fall of 2010 we wrote that Joe Kosinski was attached to direct the project and that has not changed at this point. The Tron Legacy director will direct the film that is classified as an extraterrestrial thriller being produced by Scott Free (brothers Ridley and Tony). Based on an initial script by Andrew Will, the film follows “a secret unit of the military that tracks and hunts down aliens among us.”
Cozad was hired by Navid McIlhargey, who is overseeing the film for Regency. He was impressed with Cozad’s work on Gray Man. Cozad also recently penned the reboot of the Jack Ryan franchise starring Chris Pine and being directed by Jack Bender.

There's a new possible project for Tron Legacy director Joseph Kosinski. The military/sci-fi film Archangel was originally written by Andrew Will, but Adam Kozad has just been signed to rewrite for New Regency, and Mr. Kosinski has been attached as director. Given that the rewrite process is just starting this will take another couple months before it goes forward, still leaving Oblivion as the likely next project for the director. (That movie has Tom Cruise attached, and could become a big thing at Universal if current negotiations go through.) But Archangel is now on the horizon. More details are after the break. The film sounds like a sort of Men in Black with military spirit where comedy used to be. It is about "a secret unit of the military that tracks and hunts down aliens living among us." Adam Cozad is the same guy who re-wrote [1] his script Dubai into Moscow,...

Joseph Kosinski is now attached to direct the "X-Files" sounding story centered on unit of the military that hunts down aliens that are living among…...

Joseph Kosinski Looking Towards Archangel
Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski is turning his eyes towards Archangel. Deadline reports that he's attaching to direct. The film will be a Bourne style thriller that will focus on a special unit of the military whose primary job it is to hunt down aliens who live among us. Adam Cozad will re-write the Andrew Will script and Scott Free will be producing. Kosinski was in talks to direct last summer and now it looks to be official. There's not much else to go on right now and this is all that is known.

Kossinski is a good director, Tron: Legacy made $400 million at the box-office worldwide. The major problem with that film was it's script. I am looking forward to seeing the new Jack Ryan film and am guessing that Cozad must have some talent.

New Regency has hired Adam Cozad to rewrite Archangel, a script by Andrew Will. Joseph Kosinski is attaching to direct with Scott Free producing and Regency's Navid McIlhargey steering. The pic focuses on a secret unit of the military that tracks and hunts down aliens living among us. Cozad adapted Gray Man for New Regency (Brad Pitt was eyeing the picture, but is doing World War Z instead). Cozad also wrote Moscow for Paramount, which has been eyed for the studio's Jack Ryan film. That picture has been pushed and is going to get a rewrite. Kosinski is expected to next direct Oblivion, which has Tom Cruise attached to star in an adaptation of the Radical Publishing graphic novel that Kosinski hatched while directing Tron: Legacy. Disney acquired it initially, but let Kosinski and his reps at Verve and Anonymous Content shop it because attempts to turn the post-apocalyptic tale...
