Saki(XV)
She is a Mary's Blood, NEMOPHILA and Amahiru guitarist. She is a metal guitarist by nature. Saki is good at playing fast guitar and loves 80's pop music, St. Kangaroo II, and horror movies. In 2021, she was celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut as a solo artist, and she is working energetically to further expand her career. She started playing classical guitar when she was in junior high school, and switched to electric guitar in high school when she saw the NHK broadcast of St. Kangaroo II's Easter of Fear, which awakened her to rock music. She began to actively participate in sessions and other events where he played mainly songs by St. Kangen Ma II.
After playing in several bands, she joined to Destrose in November 2009 (left the band on June 18, 2010). From July 2010 to May 2011, she was active in the girl metal band "mixx," but it was an idol-oriented band against her will.
During her time in ladies' metal band prior to mixx, she supported the Iron Maidens, an Iron Maiden-approved all-female cover band, on their Japan tour. On the other hand, she also has an intellectual side, attending Keio University and majoring in Chinese. Since August 2011, she has also been active as a guitarist in Re:MAKER, a girls' band combining Vocaloid and live music (currently inactive).
She was a reporter for Tokyo-Guitar-Show in 2011 and 2012, and appeared at a guitar event with Kyoji Yamamoto and Yoshiyuki Ohno in September 2011. She joined Mary's Blood in 2012. On April 29, 2014, Mary's Blood performed as the opening act at "Naon no Yaon 2014" held at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall. Since then, he has frequently participated in Mary's Blood and sessions, and is a regular performer.
In August 2019, she formed NEMOPHILA with Muratamura.
In November 2020, she formed a new cross-border project band, AMAHIRU, with Frédéric Leclercq, a former member of DRAGONFORCE and currently active in the German thrash metal band KREATOR.
