As the hours pile up, the humor grows.
The fun intensified on BrainDead Season 1 Episode 3, and there were several laugh out loud moments spread throughout various cast members and across all political parties, proving neither Democrats nor Republicans have the monopoly on fun!
We also learned when two parties cross paths romantically, the sparks are palpable. Oooo weee!
Hell, I know I'm talking to myself. Nobody is reading this.
What a shame. BrainDead has smoothed out into a really fun summer show. When there are several clips along the way that I wish I could post to point to how clever and appealing a particular actor or turn of phrase wound up, that's a good sign.
But I daresay I'd have better luck writing about Sunday night game shows on ABC. You all lost that lovin' feeling for BrainDead.
Carrying on, talking to myself, enjoying my own material, saying all...

I bought it for myself, but this was my Christmas present, arriving in the mail from England on Christmas Eve: a fifteen-cd set containing five epic Springsteen concerts from the legendary Darkness on the Edge of Town tour. When the Cleveland deejay who emceed the show for Wmms-fm introduced the band by saying, "Round for round, pound for pound, there ain’t no finer band around," he wasn't just rhyming, he was telling the truth.
Why, you ask, did this set come from England? Well, it's an unauthorized collection of bootlegs, but in Europe, radio recordings are public domain, so this is actually a legal release.
The word went out through the fan network I ordered it on Amazon U.K. before the release date. Perhaps Bruce doesn't get a penny out of this, but I've seen it suggested that writers' royalties would still have to be paid. Either way,...

Jaime Foxx isn't taking Spike Lee's criticism of "Django Unchained" lying down. In a sharp response to Lee's diss, Foxx calls the director "shady" and "irresponsible."
Although "Django Unchained" has been widely praised by critics, won the Golden Globe for Best Screenplay and broke Quentin Tarantino's box office record, Lee spoke out against the film's portrayal of slavery without having seen the flick.
Lee had said previously in an interview with Vibetv that he did not plan to see "Django" because he considered the film "disrespectful."
In an interview with the Guardian, Foxx responded to Lee's criticism.
"The question for me is: where's Spike Lee coming from?" he said. "He didn't like Whoopi Goldberg, he doesn't like Tyler Perry, he doesn't like anybody, I think he's sort of run his course. I mean, I respect Spike, he's a fantastic director. But he gets a little shady when he's...

The Oscar-winning actor and star of Quentin Tarantino's ultra-controversial new film about slavery talks about the n-word, Spike Lee and meeting George W Bush
In the mid-1980s a teenage musician named Eric Bishop went to play piano for the rich white folk outside his hometown of Terrell, Texas. Bishop was driven to the house by a schoolfriend, who was then ordered to wait outside in the car until the recital was over. "I can't have two niggers in my house at the same time," the owner explained.
If living well is the best revenge, then Eric Bishop provides a study in payback. Recast in the role of Hollywood star Jamie Foxx, he has a Grammy for his music and an Oscar for his acting. By rights his latest movie should count as the icing on the cake, in that it's about a freed slave on a mission of reprisal.
