Alonso Rappa, a native of the Lone Star State, was born in El Paso, Texas, just across the Rio Grande River from Ciudad Juarez, his parents' native town. He spent his childhood moving between both sides of the border, embracing both cultures and languages. Rappa attended a charter school in El Paso with a focus on STEM. At the age of 17, he left for college in New Mexico, where he became heavily involved in the film industry and acting space.
