Jordan Jaked Carrier

Jordan Jaked Carrier is an Atlanta-based ager/dyer who pivoted to film after fifteen years in design for theatre and live entertainment. In addition to aging and dyeing, she enjoys the challenges and intricacies of specialty costuming. As an artist and a maker centered on community building through the collaborative models of design, Carrier earned her Master of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and Production from the University of Georgia. She enjoys selectively continuing to pursue theatre making for narrative-driven and highly collaborative work. She explores textile design for stage + screen and has taught specialty classes in print design at NYU, UGA, Northern State, and the South Dakota Arts Education Institute. Her greatest collaboration, however, is raising her young son with her partner, Trevor. Recent costume design credits include Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre's world premiere of "Step the Brain Along A Path" with celebrated choreographer Troy Schumacher and digital media artist Sergio Mora Diaz, Alliance and TMBT's "Peter and the Wolf," Synchronicity's "Legacy of Light" (Suzi nomination,) Horizon's "Roe," and Actor's Express' world premiere of "Hometown Boy."
