- One of the most popular German musical theatre actors, he was born on December 4, 1964 in Hamm, Germany. Studied at the Universität der Künste Berlin. He starred in a number of big musical productions, including "Miss Saigon", "Jesus Christ Superstar", "The Rocky Horror Show" and "Les Miserables", but his most famous role is Death in "Elisabeth". He appeared in television dancing competition Dancing Stars (2005) as well as in a filmed performance of "Les Miserables" Les misérables- Ein Musical für Berlin (2003) and a documentary movie Climbed Every Mountain: The Story Behind the Sound of Music (2012). He voice acted as the Phantom in the German version of The Phantom of the Opera (2004).
