James Devoti has been acting professionally for almost 20 years and he hasn’t always gotten the credit he deserves. Hopefully though, that will be changing soon. Throughout his career he’s appeared in a wide variety of shows and he is probably best-known for his role as Brooks Donald in American Soul. Recently, he has been getting a lot of attention for his role in The Walking Dead. While it may not have been the biggest role, it has given James the chance to share his talent with a huge audience and it will hopefully lead to other opportunities. Additionally, James

Spoiler Alert: Do not keep reading if you have not seen Season 10, Episode 17 of “The Walking Dead,” titled “Home Sweet Home”
Maggie Rhee is back and she means business. With the premiere of the first of six bonus episodes of Season 10 of “The Walking Dead,” Lauren Cohan has officially made her full-time return to the series that made her a household name.
Before delving into the storyline of this week’s episode, Variety asked Cohan about her experience shooting the show under Covid protocols and how it differed from her past experiences on the set.
“There were obviously a lot of parallels for us shooting the show that’s about an apocalyptic environment, and coming out of what most of us know to be the closest thing to an apocalyptic environment,” Cohan said with a laugh. “We shot episodes that involved a lot less people. So just comparing it to...

"Let's get out of here while we still can – together." Momentum Pictures has unveiled an official trailer for a contained thriller tilted just Burn, set entirely at a gas station one night. It's the feature directorial debut of USC graduate Mike Gan, telling the story of a misguided crook who tries to rob the gas station. But he gets more than he bargained for when the employee fights back, scolding him with a pot of hot coffee then tying him up to a chair. The two gas station workers then try to connect with the robber before the cops arrive. And then what? Starring Josh Hutcherson as Billy, with Suki Waterhouse, Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Harry Shum Jr., Shiloh Fernandez, Wayne Pyle, John D. Hickman, Rob Figueroa, and James Devoti. This seems like a concept for Gan to showcase his talent, and it looks like it has some clever twists. Here's the...

In space Moby Dick can hear you scream…
White Space introduces us to the idea of the titular “white space” and that is, areas of space that somehow have remarkable healing properties that they can imbue on anyone who passed into them (for some reason). The only problem is there are space leviathans that protect them (for some reason). Our opening scene takes us 20 something years into the past for us to see a boy lose his dad to the space monsters. So, revenge it is then.
We have Moby Dick in space, revenge for revenge’s sake as it were.

A Giant Alien Space Creature is Being Hunted Down in This Trailer For Sci-Fi Film Beyond White Space
I’ve got a trailer here for a cool-looking sci-fi film called Beyond White Space that follows a man hunting down a giant alien space creature and he’s looking for revenge.
It almost feels like a Moby Dick type story only it’s set in deep space. As the obsession to capture the giant creature grows, they find themselves traveling deeper and deeper into the dangerous unknown regions of space.
Here’s the story description:
2150 A.D. The Essex, a deep space fishing vessel for industry giant, AmberCorp, is ready to make its final harvest of the season. The ship brushes with a rare creature, mammoth in size and highly territorial. Could this be the same leviathan that killed Richard and Owen's father? To make matters worse, a vicious band of scavengers intercept the transmission and infiltrate the Essex, leaving them with nothing. With no cargo and few supplies,...

"Wherever that signal goes, we go." Vertical Entertainment has debuted the first official trailer for an indie sci-fi thriller titled Beyond White Space, an original concept from writers Ryan Colucci and Clay McLeod Chapman. Set in 2150 in another part of the galaxy - when a deep space fishing vessel is robbed by a gang of pirates, the Captain makes a daring decision to go after a rare and nearly extinct species. On the hunt, his obsession propels them further into space and danger as the crew spins into a downward spiral of mutiny and betrayal. That sounds like a very cool setup for a thrilling sci-fi adventure, but alas the trailer doesn't look that great. The sci-fi stars Holt McCallany, Zulay Henao, Dave Sheridan, James Devoti, Jocko Sims, Kodi Kitchen, Mike Genovese, and Tiffany Brouwer. This has some big ideas in it, including one huge space monster (how? why? what?...

Written by Ryan Colucci and Clay McLeod Chapman, the film is set in 2150 A.D.
