I was raised in Western Kentucky in a middle-class family. My parents came from very humble backgrounds. I was the kid in school who wanted to make everyone laugh; I was voted class clown. I had a strong desire to serve our country by the age of 16. I once sang opera at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. I was a Marine Corps Drill Instructor at Parris Island, SC. I fought in three combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have managed businesses, and also started three business from the ground up. I have visited 32 countries. At 39, I graduated from college. I am a Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Step-Father, Uncle, and a Grandfather. I have been an outsider, an insider, a follower, a leader, a student, and a teacher. In 2022, I published a self-help book for young adults titled, "Lessons Learned: A Token of Advice for Young Adults." I am writing the first novel in a four part series based on the song "The Highwayman" by the Highwaymen. In the spring of 2024, I became an Executive Producer on the short film, "Caroline." Although I am new to acting, I find it exhilarating and greatly rewarding.
