In a recent interview with worldofsuperheroes.com actor/stuntman Raw Leiba (Conan, Game of Thrones) confirms that he met with Marvel about playing The Black Panther's nemesis, Erik Killmonger. Raw Leiba: Well, it really all started with a visit to Marvel, they knew about me, but it was being there at Marvel talking to the artist and the wonderful people that work there and Marvel getting that opportunity to see me in person that put me in this position, that was a combination of some really good people at Marvel and some good folks at Espn, Including my friend Espn’S Kenny Mayne. So myself and my Manager Charlie Wright went up there then after that truth took over and Marvel saw for themselves. Actor Raw Leiba has had discussions with Marvel about the possibility of playing strongman hero Luke Cage or Black Panther archnemesis Erik Killmonger.
Marvel hired a writer for a Black Panther movie in January and had at one time been developing a Luke Cage feature.
The actor, who appears in the upcoming Conan the Barbarian reboot, had previously revealed he was keen to be considered for either of those potential adaptations and has now made his interest official.
As the picture above shows, Leiba (on the right) and his manager Charlie Wright visited the entertainment giant's offices. Sources say discussions included Luke Cage as well as the role of Erik Killmonger (see image below), a villain from the Black Panther comics.
Leiba has also become a producer on Dream Destinations, a documentary of the life and works of Canadian director Ted Kotcheff, whose credits include 1982's First Blood, the first in the Rambo franchise.

Stealing ten billion dollars is kind of a big deal. Across the Line quickly starts off with Mr. Charlie Wright (Aiden Quinn) undergoing interrogation by the FBI in order to get things straight about missing money. Knowing he has been caught committing his Ponzi scheme, Charlie makes a run for it down south to Mexico. It is now up to agents Hobbs (Mario van Peebles) and his partner to catch the tricky banker.
Charlie Wright’s exile in Tijuana has created a stir of attention between the FBI, Mexican gangsters, and even the Russian mob. Jorge Garza (Andy Garcia) head of the Garza family empire in Mexico is trying to get his hands on Charlie so that he can pay off some deep debt that he has with some Mexican gangsters. This is a life and death situation for Jorge. His younger brother Gabriel (Danny Pino) is next line to head the family business.

Mario Van Peebles, will join other B-listers, Andy Garcia, Luke Goss and Aidan Quinn, to star in The Exodus of Charlie Wright, to be directed by R. Ellis Frazier, who also wrote the screenplay.
The film is described as an “indie crime drama” that centers on Charlie (Quinn), a Los Angeles billionaire financial whiz who goes into a self-imposed exile in Tijuana, after he’s revealed to have been heading a Ponzi scheme. While looking for the woman he abandoned there 25 years before, Charlie is pursued by a Mexican gangster (Garcia), a federal agent (Van Peebles) and thugs sent by a former client (Goss) looking to retrieve his money.
Shooting begins next week in Mexico and Los Angeles.
Van Peebles can next be seen in Things Fall Apart (which he’ll also direct), starring 50 Cent.

The story of Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme ended pretty sadly-- he's an old man in jail, his family is in shambles, and a lot of innocent people lost a lot of their money. But what if it was more like an action movie, and it starred Aidan Quinn? That seems to be the basic concept behind The Exodus of Charlie Wright, an indie drama that begins shooting next week in Mexico and L.A. Quinn has signed on to play the titular character, a Los Angeles billionaire who retreats to Tijuana when his scheme is revealed, only to be pursued by a whole bunch of people who want their money. According to THR, Andy Garcia will play a Mexican gangster on his tail, Mario van Peebles will play a federal agent assigned to the cast, and Luke Goss will play a former client who sends thugs after poor Charlie as...
