Disney Channel is expanding its animated offerings with a full-season order for a new comedy series titled The Replacements from Walt Disney Television Animation. In other animated series news at Disney, WDTVA is set to go into production on a fourth season of the comedy/action series Kim Possible. Disney Channel has ordered 21 episodes of Replacements, which is set to premiere next year. The show revolves around Riley (voiced by Grey Delisle of The Fairly OddParents) and Todd (Nancy Cartwright of The Simpsons), orphaned siblings who order "parents" from a company named Fleemco Replacement Parents -- a British superspy "mom" (Kath Soucie of Pooh's Heffalump Movie) and a renowned stuntman "dad" (casting for this role is under way) -- which then lets them replace any adult they know through its new Replacement Person program. The show was created by children's book author and illustrator Dan Santat. Jack Thomas is executive producing, while Heather Martinez is directing.
