Nathan Dean as Max Evans and Jeanine Mason as Liz Ortecho in ‘Roswell, New Mexico’ season 4 episode 13
The CW’s Roswell, New Mexico season four episode 13 serves as both the season and series finale. Picking up seconds after the end of episode 12, “How It’s Going to Be“ begins with Clyde easily stopping Isobel and Max’s attack. Rosa (Amber Midthunder) concentrates on tuning in on Clyde’s frequency and manages to free herself from his restraint.
Rosa surprises Clyde by smashing him over the head with a board, which gives Max (Nathan Dean) time to prepare to use the blue flame. Unfortunately, Clyde also uses the flame and knocks everyone over before kidnapping Rosa and escaping in a car.
The #PodSquad discuss their next move and Bonnie suggests they need to destroy the portal before Clyde can use it. Michael (Michael Vlamis) thinks they should hold off on that drastic move and Max agrees.

The new fall season is closer than you think, and NBC has released their full schedule. Apart from reality favorites The Biggest Loser and The Voice, they are mixing things up quite a bit.

The season two finale of The Voice was quite the extravaganza as former contestants and a number of today’s biggest artists joined the finalists for the big moment. As predicted, Jermaine Paul took the title at the end of the two hour live finale and what a well deserved win this was. But there was plenty of music leading up to that moment, some good, some bad.
As part of the finale celebration, each finalist chose former artists of the season to perform with on the the stage one last time this season, each individual reminders why Paul was indeed the best person to win. Tony Lucca from Team Adam performed “Go Your Own Way” with Jordis Unga. Lucca not making it into the final two was wildly disappointing but I cannot say that I missed Unga. Never a big fan of hers, last night’s performance did not help her case.

The lead in to the big finale on The Voice has come and what a thrilling night of performances the finalists gave, fighting for the title. This week, each artist performed a solo, a solo tribute to their coach, and a duet with their coach as the competition reached its boiling point and the artists fought against the other teams rather than within their teams.
Jermaine Paul’s final solo performance of the competition was R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly.” This song worked wonders for The X Factor‘s Melanie Amaro so perhaps this song is a good luck charm this music reality competition season and could be the number that takes Paul to the winner’s circle. Paul’s tribute, to his coach, “God Gave Me You” as well as his duet, “Soul Man” with Blake Shelton were equally as strong. And watching Shelton step into Paul’s shoes,...

After this week’s performance show, eliminations on The Voice were half shocking, half predictable. Team Adam has shown themselves as a force to be reckoned with and Team Cee Lo has shown themselves to be a team that is not afraid to take chances. Whether or not the chance taken with tonight’s elimination was the right one remains to be seen. After a special performance from Florence & the Machine and Team Cee Lo, the results came in and America’s saves may have been the most shocking results of the night. The saves put the coaches in a corner and Adam Levine seemed to fair much better than Cee Lo Green based on this week alone. Levine’s choice was easy as one of the contestants has not been impressing lately but Cee Lo had quite a big decision on his hands… and either way, he would have upset viewers.

The Voice may not have come out as strong as it has in the past but it still managed to deliver two hours of great entertainment. From Christina Aguilera’s lips, a Mickey Mouse Club reunion could be in the works! In the meantime, Cee Lo Green had his own reunion on stage, and his team rocked out much harder than Team Adam come time to shine. Could the finals see a Team Cee Loo winner this year? Could Team Adam not even be a contender in the finals?
Team Adam has a group of strong vocalists on his hands but this week, the songs that they were given did not show off the best parts of their vocals and impress. If you’re wondering which reality music competition show has the most unpredictable results show, it’s The Voice. There are so many different ways to vote and there is so much time to vote, it just might actually be overwhelming to vote as much as possible. This note aside, it is difficult to pinpoint other reasons why every single week has been wildly shocking. This is not at all like last season. Someone we absolutely love always gets the boot each week. It’s like the balance is being kept so perfectly. This is odd though and it makes it difficult to tell whether what is happening will still lead to a fulfilling end. Either way, the team performances and special guest performances have all delivered, so there’s that. The Wanted gave a special performance debuting their new single in the Us, “Chasing the Sun.” They lit up...

The quarter-finals on The Voice Season two began this week, with a big twist in tow! Team Blake and Team Christina went head to head, leaving Shelton and Aguilera with the tough decision to immediately eliminate the weakest player after the performances. This show sure knows how to continue to reel us in. Giving us a twist within an eliminations really keeps everyone on their toes and as it gets closer to the finale, that’s exactly what needs to happen. Nobody is safe and everyone needs to be reminded of those high stakes and fight for it. The coach decisions and audience participation has shifted and hopefully this twist is here to stay because it is a good one!

If there is a winner from The Voice this season from Team Christina or Team Cee Lo, the options are slim as the artists proved this week. There were definitely less standouts this week, or at least less phenomenal standouts. People stood out for the wrong reasons this week be it nerves, song choice, pitch, or any number of things. Not even a handful of vocalists came out as strong as they could have this week so results are going to be very nerve-wrecking tonight. Team Adam easily took the win last night with Juliet Simms being the only vocalist from Team Cee Lo to really kill it so between these two teams, the remaining artists really have to hope that the odds work out for them.

The first live results show of The Voice Season Two has come! Making things more interesting than other singing reality competition shows, four contestants were eliminated in one night rather than one. The bottom three sang their hearts out, leaving the Team coaches with the final decision of which one contestant they would save. If this week’s elimination is any indication as to what we can expect in the coming weeks… we can expect the person we’d least expect to be the season two winner of The Voice. Shocking results is an understatement. Did anybody really win last night?
Before the bottom three results were read, Gym Class Heroes and a barely audible Team Adam came together to perform “Ass Back Home,” kicking off the first live show just right. If you haven’t seen Gym Class Heroes live, make it your mission this summer or fall. So,...

The first live show of The Voice season two finally arrived this week as Team Blake and Team Christina went head to head before the first live elimination. Not one, not two, but four contestants will be going home tonight. Based on last night’s performances alone, elimination predictions should be a breeze to match. But with this being the first live elimination, it is far too early to know how America has voted, especially with fans being able to vote by phone, NBC.com (and NBC apps), Facebook, and iTunes. What’s difficult about voting by iTunes is that a viewer may not necessarily be a fan of an artist but may absolutely fall in love with their rendition of a song, causing them to buy the track on iTunes. One vote can be the difference between staying in the competition and being voted out. Could those handful of...

This week on The Voice, we said goodbye to some very talented vocalists. All of the teams took some hard hits here as standouts from the blind auditions went head to head and only one could move onto the live round. First to take the stage this week on Team Adam were 19 year old Pip, who won over the judges during the blind auditions and former competitive swimmer, Nathan Parrett. Pip is like a mini Adam Levine, no? Pip was concerned about Levine giving so much attention to Parrett but that’s because Parrett needed more guidance. Pip is good but Parrett has the potential to be that good. But after seeing the guys perform, “You Know I’m No Good,” Pip had this win even before completing his first note. Had Levine chosen Parrett instead, there definitely would have been a big upset. Parrett is not at all prepared...

Battle Rounds of The Voice reached a high this week as the best of the best in this competition went head to head as well as the best of the best against the hopeless. What an intense battle. Last week was a breeze compared to this week. Live shows are going to wreck the phone lines this year. This talent is truly out of this world. If you’re not watching The Voice, catch up as soon as possible and thank us all later. This is where the entertainment is at!

The battle rounds began on The Voice this week and what an incredible group of pairings there were to start it off. For the most part, the pairings were predictable with a fair amount of surprises and keeping a fair balance, there were also some head scratching pairings that ended up working out for the best. All of the artists had their conflicts to resolve, be it their lack of performance skills, reaching too far or not enough, and the list goes on. Unfortunately while the underdogs did not come out on top, we were still in for quite a show!
Each coach cuts their team in half during the battle round in preparation for the live shows. Even though we were prepared for what was to come, given how the battle round went in season one… this did not take away any nerves. In fact, knowing what was coming...

The coaches completed their teams of twelve last night in the battle round of The Voice Season Two and what a completion it was. One vocalist was lucky enough sing a brief duet with her coach! Viewers were hoping for the unexpected this season and they got it early on. The last remaining coach to round out their team was very happy indeed while finding her last team member. Sera Hill is very talented… but she also sang one of Christina’s favorite jams, “I’m Going Down” and it put her in one extremely rare moment. When Christina Aguilera grabbed the mic and sang with Hill, everyone was taken aback. People pay big money to see Aguilera sing, but sometimes when you want to get down with the music, you just want to get down. Thank you Christina for letting us see you letting your hair down. It was quite a moment.

This week on The Voice, the coaches prepared to round out their teams of twelve in preparation for the big battle to come. Artists made decisions that they had not initially intended to make when joining teams and coaches made decisions that were very similar to their choices in season one… all while raising the bar. It came down to the wire and the coaches were passing on some fierce talent if they weren’t completely blown away or willing to help craft an artist in time for the big win. This week’s talent may have in fact shown us some of the best this season.

Some of the best moments on the The Voice come when the producers force us to play along with the coaches and judge solely on the voice. Right out of the gate, tonight’s episode took that turn when Sarah Golden took on Lady Gaga’s “You And I,” winning over Blake Shelton and Cee-lo. In the discussion that followed, we learned that Golden is a folk singer… so apparently none of the songs that the artists are allowed to sing during auditions were folk. But based on the song that she was able to attack, it seems that choosing Cee Lo was a smarter choice since he might have more to offer her when experimenting with various genres.
Two more artists joined Team Cee Lo this week, giving Golden some steep competition. 28 year old former model, Erin Martin wins the award for most unique voice of the night. Levine...

The Voice continued its much anticipated premiere last night with two hours of blind auditions that easily surpassed the level of entertainment from the first batch of vocalists. Each coach found a perfect match but some of the coaches and vocalists made some very intriguing choices, choosing to team up with the unexpected. All of the surprises were pleasant… well, that is except for the one vocalist who sang his heart out and was not chosen by anyone. More on that in a bit. All in all, the blind auditions proved yet again why The Voice is the best singing competition on television today. We tuned in for talent and got more than we anticipated. What a phenomenal night of music this was and will continue to be.

Season two of The Voice kicked off immediately following the Superbowl and kept the high going with talent that no other reality singing competition has been fortunate enough to discover. All of the coaches are back, with a new incredible round of advisers for the battle phase. But we’re getting a few weeks ahead of ourselves with the battling. The blind auditions had a fabulous start with the coaches going chair to chair for the best of the best which included a former background vocalist for Alicia Keys, a former ensemble cast member of the Broadway hit, American Idiot, and many more. What a perfect way to end such a victorious night.

The first season of The Voice is over already. It came and went too quickly if you ask us. But in the end Javier Colon took the crown. We were happy to see him win, although we really felt all four of the final contestants — Beverly, Dia, Vicci and Javier— were all worthy of the title. Still Javier got the votes and now it’s time to see what happens next. In a recent conference call interview he talked about his future plans.
Colon is no stranger to the music business. In fact he even had a record deal earlier in his career, but without the proper support behind him it fell flat. Still he can’t help but think this go round he's in the right place at the right time. "There was a Voice wrap party that they had for us, which ironically...

Lewis Jacobs/NBC Javier Colon and Stevie Nicks on “The Voice.”
The first season winner of “The Voice” has been announced: Javier Colon. To increase the suspense, host Carson Daly had announced that the scores of the top two contestants, Colon and Dia Frampton, were within two percentage points of each other.
Colon had started off the season as both a judge and fan favorite, while Frampton was portrayed as the shy-girl-blossoming-into-powerful-woman. But it was Javier, with his technically-superior vocal skills and honeyed riffs,...
