- John Force is the winningest drag racer in NHRA history with 122 career victories, 14 championships and 194 final round appearances. He won his first championship in 1990 and won every year in the 90s except for 1992, when he was toppled by Cruz Pedregon. His streak continued until 2004 when he lost a close battle to Tony Pedregon and Gary Scelzi in 2005. He earned his 14th title in 2006.
He is currently the team-mate of son-in-law Robert Hight and Eric Medlen and, in 2007, will team up with Top Fuel Dragster driver Melanie Troxel and Funny Car driver Gary Densham, also. In addition, three of his four daughters race in the NHRA circuits.
John Force is one of the most recognizable names in drag racing. It is not uncommon to go to a drag race and see 3/4 of the fans wearing the signature green Castrol GTX colors. He is notorious for doing very long burnouts before he races and his popularity can make his autograph difficult to get during race time.- IMDb Mini Biography By: countkat
