For over a decade, Aaron Pruner has been true to his passion and himself. Along the way, he has played a variety of offbeat and fun characters on screen and off. He sees this as only the beginning and looks forward to the places his career will take him in the future.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Aaron Pruner - Aaron Pruner broke into the entertainment industry at the ripe age of 17 after Mike Humphrey Casting discovered him through a talent search at his high school. Through that encounter, Aaron booked his first ever National Commercial (it was for Little Caesar's Pizza). That booking, along with the help of a referral by Oscar-winning actor Ernest Borgnine, got Aaron his first talent agent and he was off and running.
By the summer of that year, just a few days after graduating high school, Aaron was cast as Percy on Saban Entertainment's first sister series to Power Rangers. What was supposed to be a four episode run blossomed into a two season deal, with Aaron appearing in more than 70 episodes as the show's nerdy comedy relief.
Once the series ended, Aaron racked up more roles on television including a spot on sitcom "In the House," starring Debbie Allen and LL Cool J, which was taped in front of a live studio audience. After the episode was wrapped, Debbie Allen said Aaron was "a smart actor" for thinking on his feet during a minor error during taping their scene which brought bigger laughs and approval from the crowd and director.
Other credits in the 90s and 2000s include recurring characters on "Saved By the Bell: The New Class," "General Hospital," and Comedy Central's Martin Short series "Primetime Glick." He achieved a guest starring credit for "ER" and appeared in dozens of commercials for brands like Del Taco, Snapple, Einstein PCS, Golden Corral, Sprint, Diet Dr. Pepper, Toyota, and Honda (Japanese Market) -- in which he played Charlize Theron's nerdy boyfriend.
On the training front, Aaron has worked with the UCB and LA Connection to finesse his improv comedy chops while fine tuning his comedy writing skills. Commercially, he's trained with Killian McHugh, Judy Kain, and the folks at Camera Left, Stage Right. Theatrically, he's an ongoing student at BGB Acting Studio exploring scene study and audition technique.
In 2008, Aaron took a step away from acting and pivoted into entertainment journalism where he has built up an impressive slate of content for clients like Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Apple, The Washington Post, Playboy, and Rotten Tomatoes. Through this "break," he still appeared in projects like psychedelic horror movie "Blood Brothers" opposite genre icon Ken Foree, and Sarah Silverman's short-lived Hulu comedy series "I Love You, America" opposite comedy legend Carl Reiner.
With the pandemic behind him and a new team of reps, Aaron added a new movie credit to his resume in 2022 with the found footage horror thriller "Caviar." Now, with both strikes out of the way, he's ready to get back out there and make them laugh, make them laugh, make them laugh.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Aaron Pruner
