- Cornelius Adekulé Macarthy is a Sierra Leonean-American, UK classically trained actor, who started his career touring the world as one of the lead vocalists of the London Community Gospel Choir - Britain's most successful contemporary gospel outfit - and a session singer/backing vocalist working with many of the world's biggest musical artists including Elton John, Madonna, Blur, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Art Garfunkel, Ray Davies, Van Morrison, Tom Jones and the late, great, Jessye Norman. After 8 consecutive years of full-time singing and being on the road, Cornelius decided to pursue what ended up becoming his true passion - acting; and won a scholarship to the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating 3 years later.
Cornelius has worked extensively across all media, in a wide variety of leading and supporting roles, from his early turns in the Danny Boyle film Millions and the independent feature, Patient 17, which won Best Sci-Fi/Horror Feature at the London Independent Film Festival; to his work in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in London's West End with Christian Slater and Antony & Cleopatra with Kim Catrall.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Geoff
