The recent ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ trailer has been released, showcasing nods to comic storylines and numerous cameos set to appear in the movie.
The film follows Deadpool as he returns to his crime-fighting ways after being recruited by the Tva to prevent his reality from collapsing. Wade tries to convince Wolverine to join him, but judging by the trailer, Wolverine is hesitant. The movie will introduce Cassandra Nova as the main villain, and continue the Multiversal Theme of the MCU.
The movie supposedly occurs in the Void, a realm outside space and time introduced in the ‘Loki’ series. Among various references and Easter eggs, fans have noticed another recurring issue – this marks the eighth movie to overlook a glaring omission: the massive Celestial hand protruding from the planet.
Marvel has faced criticism for repeatedly ignoring the fate of the Celestial Tiamut, which was destroyed and trapped in the ocean in the 2021 film ‘Eternals.

The Avengers: Infinity War chronicle might have ended, but the theories surrounding the characters and subsequent films still keep coming. Thanos was the main villain of the saga, and he wreaked havoc across the galaxy. As the Mad Titan went on a rampage to achieve his goals, the Avengers did everything in their power to stop him. Unfortunately, the heroes failed, and half of them got obliterated along with half the universe during the Blip.
Thanos was the classic villain who brought the Avengers to their knees. While his actions to restore balance to the universe were certainly extreme, what if he was driven by something else? A new theory suggests that it might have been because he was a Deviant.

The BBC firmly switched the hype for the 60th anniversary Doctor Who specials up a few dozen notches on Saturday when it aired a brand-new two-minute trailer for the episodes just before Strictly Come Dancing. And if – like the new Strictly cast – the trailers were being marked by Craig Revel-Horwood, it might even have earned a rare use of his 10 paddle:
What a belter that was. Explosions! Potty-mouthed Donna Noble! A helicopter flying The Doctor over the swanky new Unit HQ in London! Kate! David Tennant acting his socks off, and also getting walloped by Donna’s mum Sylvia! A two-second glimpse of Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor!
And – finally – confirmation that Neil Patrick Harris will be recreating the Toymaker (formerly known as Celestial), a truly terrifying villain who first appeared back in the sixties, and who makes people his playthings by trapping them in twisted games and making them fight for their freedom.

There's been a lot of confusion around the return of the beloved British sci-fi television series, "Doctor Who." Season 14, which confusingly will introduce the Fifteenth Doctor, is coming. It will star Ncuti Gatwa as the new Time Lord, called the Fifteenth Doctor even though the will be the 14th individual to assume the position -- more on that in a minute -- and Millie Gibson ("Coronation Street") as the Doctor's trusted companion. Where things get weird(er) is that, before we get series 14 or a Fifteenth Doctor, we're going to get a series of specials and a Fourteenth Doctor, who was actually already the Tenth Doctor. I know, right?
Today, a new trailer dropped for an upcoming series of "Dr. Who" specials to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the series. These specials will stage a short-lived return of the most beloved Doctor of the revival era, David Tennant. Tennant...

Some superhero stories truly glide on the idea of a hero’s redemption. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we have seen characters like Tony Stark, Stephen Strange, Natasha Romanoff, and Gamora make up for their past sins via heroism. A viewer’s love for a great redemption story occasionally mixes itself with the concept of a villain so likable that you no longer want to root against them.
There have been many villains in the MCU and a good chunk of them have changed their ways for the better over time. A good face-turn could always get the blood pumping. We’ve decided to rank the best ones.
First some ground rules: this list is based on villains or at least antagonists. Yes, Tony Stark was a dick and was responsible for countless deaths, but he has always been portrayed as the good guy. Similarly,...

Kang the Conqueror is one of the most formidable figures in Marvel Comics' stable of supervillains. He's also one of the most complicated to explain, but I'll try my best to untangle his history (and future) here: He was once an academic named Nathaniel Richards, who hailed from the distant future. With a deep obsession with the past, Richards' studies led to him stumbling on Doctor Doom's time machine, which he uses to explore various periods in history, each time resulting in a different version of himself. Among those versions are the Pharaoh Rama-Tut and the Scarlet Centurion, as well as his most famous form, Kang.
The character has been around since the 1960s, has taken on the Fantastic Four and the Avengers on countless occasions across space and time, and continues to make life difficult for our heroes. His passion for time has set him on an eternal...

If the “Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special” were a graphic novel, it would be an “annual,” a long-form comic book featuring a self-contained story that often exists outside of canon with a set of characters with which most fans are already familiar. In this case, it’s a slapstick comedy full of physical humor, musical numbers and the geekiest tribute to Kevin Bacon this side of the Bifrost.
James Gunn wrote and directed the 42-minute special and not only wrapped filming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” (the special was shot during “Vol. 3” production) for Marvel but is now co-head of the Warner Bros. new DC Films. Adept at taking B-level comic book characters and turning them into franchise hits, Gunn does a lot with a little here with Marvel’s first-ever holiday special.

This type of subject is something that fanboys and girls are usually bound to laugh about since they’d likely think that the Celestial, Arishem, would wipe the floor with Unicron since the latter is essentially a planet-sized robot that has obvious limitations that Arishem might be able to capitalize on when it comes to a one on one combat. The unfortunate thing is that Celestials don’t tend to fight unless there’s something that they need to fight for, as their level of power is so incredibly vast that they don’t appear to need to even move through time and space,

Spoiler Alert: This story discusses the endings of several titles released by Marvel Studios in 2021 and 2022, from “WandaVision” through “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”
At the very end of 2021’s “WandaVision” — the inauguration of Marvel Studios’ post-“Avengers: Endgame” slate of titles, collectively known as Phase Four — we see Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) quietly sipping tea by a lakeside cabin, recovering from the traumatic events of the series finale. As the camera pushes deeper into the cabin, however, we see that Wanda is actually astral projecting as the Scarlet Witch so she can study the Darkhold, a book of corrupting dark magic. Suddenly, she hears the voices of her two lost sons, and the screen cuts to black. At the time the episode streamed in March 2021, we were left to wonder how that could happen and what Wanda would do next.
Fourteen months later, those questions have been...

This feature contains spoilers for Marvel’s Eternals.
Eternals is now streaming on Disney+, and many people who missed seeing it on the big screen are finally getting a chance to check out what they might have heard is a rare misstep from Marvel Studios in the comfort of their own home. Meanwhile, others are wondering if Eternals is worth revisiting at all after struggling with it the first time.
I fall into a different category. I found Eternals pretty enjoyable and a welcome departure from your standard MCU installment, but was looking forward to seeing it again because I had a feeling that some of the film’s problems might be reduced after I’d had time to sit with its secrets, and I did indeed find that to be the case. Mostly.
There are things that still feel lackluster about Eternals and that probably won’t age as...

Earth has a new team of protectors -- in fact, they've been here all along. Chloé Zhao's "Eternals" introduces a family of superheroes who were sent to Earth 7000 years ago to protect humans from rampaging creatures called Deviants. When the last of the Deviants were seemingly defeated in 1521 Ad, the Eternals went their separate ways and tried their best to build lives for themselves as they waited for their next mission. However, the ending of "Eternals" forces them to choose between the will of their Celestial deity, Arishem, and the lives of everyone on Earth.

Spoiler Warning: Do not read this story until you’ve seen Marvel Studios’ “Eternals,” currently playing in theaters worldwide. Major spoilers are ahead.
The day after the red carpet premiere of Marvel Studios “Eternals,” director Chloé Zhao looked relaxed, almost serene, as she sat in a hotel suite awaiting her next interview. Her face lit up when she was asked about how her film features the first genuine sex scene in a Marvel Studios movie, and she happily talked at length about how she slipped in mentions of DC Comics icons Superman and Batman.
But when questions about the film’s two post-credits scenes came up, Zhao’s eyes nervously darted to her publicist sitting nearby.
“I will try my best — I’ve been advised…” she said, before trailing off.
Zhao’s trepidation is understandable. The news that Harry Styles appears in one of the post-credits scenes as Thanos’ brother Eros,...

This article contains What If…? spoilers.
In the second and latest episode of the new animated Marvel Studios series What If…?, a familiar figure appears in an unexpected scenario. “What If…T’Challa Became A Star-Lord?” finds the Wakandan prince not assuming the mantle of king and Black Panther in his home country on Earth, but instead roaming the galaxy as an outlaw with the Ravagers, who accidentally absconded with him instead of Peter Quill when sent to Earth to find the son of the Celestial known as Ego.
The episode is perhaps the best of the first three provided to the press, not least because it features the unmistakable voice of the late Chadwick Boseman, who died nearly a year ago in August 2020 and whose work on the show as T’Challa is the last he did before his shocking and unexpected passing.

Oprah Winfrey has revealed the latest addition to her book club: An American Marriage by Tayari Jones. As expected from the big-hearted media mogul, Jones’s tale is a richly human and timely story.
“I love this title because the novel redefines the traditional American love story,” Winfrey said for the announcement. “It’s really a love triangle and places us inside a world that a lot of people don’t know about, but impacts all of us in really big ways — you’ll see what I mean. And I think you’ll come away with greater empathy and understanding.
