- Dharini first appeared on screen as a series lead in the critically acclaimed television series "Metropia", (2004) which introduced the most multi-ethnic television cast ever seen in Canada. She can be seen on stage, television and in a handful of films, and she continues to lend her voice to various media and gaming projects. As a writer, she has a short story published by HarperCollins Canada. In 2016 she co-wrote and co-produced her award-winning first short film, "See Me Now", in 8 weeks, (limited distribution by Hewes Pictures), and co-wrote the short film, "The Boot", which was short-listed for Stage 32 Short Film Script Contest. She has also received a number of Arts Council Grants for original theatre creation. Dharini interned at the off-Broadway Irish Repertory Theatre in NYC, holds a B.A. in English, a B.F.A.
