If you thought the tension between Chloe Brown and her Married at First Sight castmates had simmered down you were right, but it didn’t last very long.
Emily Balch just reignited the drama and she’s getting dragged online after calling Chloe a liar over a scene that played out in the last episode of the season.
We had all but forgotten about the Denver cast, as we patiently await a premiere date for Season 18. So, it’s unclear why, weeks after Season 17 ended, the issue is being brought up now.
In a recent post, Emily shared a photo of herself and Clare Kerr spending time at the Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary with Chloe.
That photo according to Emily was taken in October of 2023. However, when the cast filmed the Where Are They Now? episode in January of 2024, Chloe told a much different story.

It’s admittedly been a “chaotic” year for Married at First Sight Chloe Brown but now she can put it all to rest and move on with her life.
Things didn’t quite work out how Chloe had intended when she became a replacement bride for Michael Shiakallis.
However, while she didn’t leave Season 17 with a husband, she’s formed a tight friendship with her ex and the other husbands on the show.
Chloe doesn’t care about the social media hoopla. So she’s opted to remain private even though the season has wrapped.
The 39-year-old isn’t the only one who hasn’t gone public on social media.
Chloe has been getting a ton of support from viewers, but the other Season 17 wives haven’t been so lucky.

Fans of the show are happy to bid “good riddance” to the Denver cast for trolling us with the “Worst. Season. Ever.”
Remember that Season 17 premiered in October 2023 and aired its last episode on April 17, 2024.
That’s six torturous months of watching Emily Balch, Becca Haley, Lauren Good, and Clare Kerr’s feeble attempts at trying to make their marriages work with husbands, Brennan Shoykhet, Austin Reed, Orion Martzloff, and Cameron Frazer.
Lauren and Orion were the first couple to call it quits only days after tying the knot, and that was just a sign of things to come.
Chloe and Michael tied the knot later in the season, giving us hope that at least one couple would be standing in the end.

Married at First Sight Season 17 has finally come to an end and honestly, we’re happy to bid goodbye to the Denver cast forever.
Their last hoorah was a Where Are They Now special that gave an update on the cast six months after they filmed the tumultuous reunion.
The relationships between the men and their ex-wives are just as fractured as the last time we saw them, except for Michael Shiakallis and Chloe Brown.
Although their marriage also ended in divorce, the couple had a less contentious split than the others.
In the final episode, the pair said they wanted to stay in each other’s lives, even if it was just as friends.
However, quite a bit of time has passed since they filmed the special so have things changed between Michael and Chloe?

A lot has transpired between the Married at First Sight Season 17 cast since they filmed the show and we saw, at the reunion, how contentious things have become.
In the final episode for the season, the Where Are They Now special we’ll see what the Denver cast have been up to since they filmed the show.
A sneak peek updates Chloe Brown’s life post-show as the brunette beauty confesses she’s no longer in contact with Lauren Good, Emily Balch, Becca Haley, or Clare Kerr.
Chloe opened up about her relationship with the other women while chatting with Emily and Clare’s ex-husbands, Cameron Frazer and Brennan Shoykhet.
Not surprisingly, they are not on speaking terms with the women either after a heated altercation at the reunion.
During their chat, the trio called out the women’s “mean girls behavior” – a sentiment that’s also been expressed by Mafs viewers.

However, she was dealt a devastating blow in Episode 19 when Clare visited her apartment and told her that Brennan was not a good guy.
“I’ve heard through the grapevine he wanted to go on a double date with Cameron and that he is going on dates,” Clare told a tearful Emily.
Now it’s time for Brennan and Cameron to explain themselves as reunion host Kevin Frazier gets to the bottom of the accusation.

Cameron has been spilling the tea about his castmates on the Mafs Afterparty, but the reunion proved that the entire cast was involved in a plot to deceive the experts, production, and viewers.

Married at First Sight Season 17 has turned into a bitter battle of husbands versus wives after their tumultuous marriages imploded during the season.
The women have bonded over their shared disdain for their husbands and have forged a tight friendship during the eight-week experiment.
However, has Chloe Brown been excluded from their clique?
Mafs fans noticed that the reunion seating had the women on one side and the men on the opposite side of the stage, but Chloe wasn’t sitting with the other women.
Instead, she was seated on the men’s side next to her estranged husband Michael Shiakallis.
That could mean one of two things, either the couple reconciled — which would make sense to seat them together — or that Chloe is not on good terms with the other wives so they opted to separate them.
However, that’s not the only thing that made the 39-year-old the...

Married At First Sight: Season 17 In Denver Was A Complete Train Wreck
Married at First Sight Season 17 in Denver just recently wrapped, with Michael Shiakallis rejecting his second expert match, Chloe Brown. Michael striking out twice means the experts had no successful matches in the Mile High City, making it easily the worst season in franchise history.
Even fellow Married at First Sight cast members have called out Season 17 for being one of the worst seasons ever. Mafs Og Jamie Otis said that she felt cast members this season were “performing” for the cameras. So, even fellow alums agree that this season was one of the worst.

Married at First Sight Season 17 is winding to a close after what felt like a decade of torture for TV viewers.
Thankfully, we will kiss goodbye to the Denver cast after the two-part reunion airs on April 10 and 17, followed by the Where Are They Now episode.
Last week several Mafs alums gathered for a Tell All special and they had a lot to say about the current cast.
Paige Banks, Rachel Gordillo, Airris Williams, Stacia Karcher, Bennett Kirschner Doug Hehner, and Jamie Otis didn’t hold back as they talked about the most memorable moments from the season.
Monique Kelly hosted the Former Cast Tell All – which was seemingly filmed before the Season 17 cast reunited to film the reunion.
During the show, she wanted to know if there were any questions the alums wanted reunion host, Kevin Frazier to ask the cast, and they had some good ones.

The wives of Married at First Sight felt empowered and confident after their boudoir photo shoot in the latest episode.
However, those feelings might go out the door once they see the negative reaction from viewers about the racy scene with Becca Haley, Clare Kerr, Emily Balch, and Lauren Good.
Viewers took to social media to share their opinions about the episode and an overwhelming amount of people felt the bonding activity was “bizarre and unnecessary.”
At this point, it feels like producers are simply trying to fill air time after all the couples called it quits.
The contentious breakups didn’t leave much leeway for the former couples to film together. Due to that, we’ve been getting a lot of filler scenes with the women, frequently as they trash their husbands.
However, during their latest hangout, the wives wanted to get their spark back after ending their marriages...

Mafs Season 17 Gained A Bad Reputation
Season 17 of Mafs has a pretty bad reputation at this point. Between the questionable casting choices and the show’s very first runaway bride, viewers were asking what the “love experts” were thinking.
On top of that, the Lifetime reality television program changed its format this season. For the first time, there have been post-Decision Day episodes that have provided further information on the future of the couples.

After what feels like years of waiting for Season 17 to end, we can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Things were going smoothly for the pair, but things took a turn in the last two episodes and the cracks started to show in their marriage.

Emily Balch has some things to get off her chest after her castmates Brennan Shoykhet and Cameron Frazer appeared on Married at First Sight Afterparty.
Emily was admittedly “disgusted” after her ex shared his side of what happened during their short-lived marriage.
The 29-year-old was also angry with Cameron whom she called a mass manipulator when he appeared on the show, the week prior.
Cameron dropped a shocker on the program, revealing that Emily had cheated on Brennan during the eight-week experiment.
She has since responded to those claims and noted that kissing a random Australian dude in a bar is nothing compared to what her husband has done.
Meanwhile, Brennan finally decided to join the Afterparty to speak for himself, but Emily took issues with that.
She noted that her ex had no interest in being on the show until now because he wants to do “damage control.”

Cameron Frazer and Clare Kerr were the most confusing couple on the show this season, and if you’ve been tuning in you’ll understand why.
They called it quits after a few weeks of marriage, as Clare indicated she was not attracted to her husband – who then developed a heart condition after their split.
Clare, riddled with guilt, wanted to jump in and support Cameron during the health scare, but he wanted a clean break.
Interestingly though, after being Mia from several cast events, — Michael and Chloe’s wedding and the cast getaway — to avoid Clare, he appeared in Episode 19.
Cameron confided in Brennan and told him that if Clare wanted to try and make their marriage work, he would say yes on Decision Day.
However, something must have transpired since then because not only did he opt to end their marriage, but he also put her in the friend zone,...

Married at First Sight has been an absolute disappointment this season, but the recent Decision Day episode was surprisingly entertaining.
While we knew the couples would opt to end their marriages since most had already failed, we also learned some new information.
Some of the Season 17 wives have teased things that happened behind the scenes that viewers don’t get to see, and we got a taste of that in the recent episode.
All eyes were on Becca Haley and Austin Reed since they were the only couple still clinging to their rocky marriage when Decision Day rolled around.
The couple battled intimacy issues throughout their relationship, as Austin refused to consummate his marriage, much to Becca’s disappointment.
After tirelessly begging for more intimacy, she started to doubt his claims of wanting to fix their issues, noting that when the cameras were off, there was no effort on his part.

Married at First Sight is a major topic of conversation on social media after the recent airing of the Decision Day episode.
We didn’t get any shockers regarding the decision by most of the couples to end their marriages because we saw that coming a mile away.
We were still on the fence about Austin Reed and Becca Haley, who started solid but had a bumpy ride in the later episodes.
Interestingly, they opted to stay married, at least for now, to try working on their relationship without the cameras.

The season is coming to an end at last, and Decision Day is mere hours away.

It’s all going down in Episode 20, titled “Decision Day Round One,” which means there will be a round two.
The upcoming episode will focus on the original couples that tied the knot early on in the season: Cameron Frazer and Clare Kerr, Orion Martzloff and Lauren Good, as well as Becca Haley and Austin Reed.
Michael and Chloe tied the knot later in the season, which means their Decision Day will come at a later date.
In the meantime, viewers are ready for Season 17 to wrap up,...
