Halfway into The Out-Laws, I was wondering if I should get a drink and watch the rest after getting a little buzzed because that would have certainly made this experience more profound. Not that it is any less than when you watch it dead sober. But there is one condition. You need to have a penchant for bad movies, like me. That is the only way you would enjoy The Out-Laws. It is a very obvious bad movie, which fits right into the “so bad that it’s good” genre. This is a movie where a man mistakes another man’s genitals for a ripcord while sky-diving. The same man repeatedly gets his buttocks grabbed by his fiancé’s parents as if nothing happened. Then, during an all-important heist, this man uses a water gun instead of a real one. Adam DeVine's Bumper Allen started out as the antagonist of the first "Pitch Perfect" film, but has since evolved into the star of the popular trilogy's spin-off series for Peacock, "Bumper in Berlin." The show sees Bumper trying to revitalize his waning singing career after "Pitch Perfect 2" star Pieter Krämer (Flula Borg) informs him that a TikTok mashup he's made of "Take On Me" by A-ha and "99 Luftballons" by Nena is going viral in Germany. Hoping to capitalize on his 15 minutes of fame, Bumper moves to Berlin to try and grow his budding fanbase with Pieter as his manager. His arrival brings a new host of characters, including Pieter's sister Thea (Lera Abova), who makes music under the name "DJ Das Boot." Bumper feels out of place at first, but quickly finds an ally in Pieter's American assistant, Heidi (Sarah Hyland), a budding singer-songwriter in her own right.

"Modern Family" costars Sarah Hyland and Adam DeVine (DeVine played Hyland's character Haley Dunphy's boyfriend Andy Bailey) are reuniting for a "Pitch Perfect" spinoff series called "Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin," which we finally have a first glimpse of.
In the show's trailer, released by Peacock on Nov. 2, DeVine reprises his role as Bumper Allen - the antagonist and leader of all-male a cappella group The Treblemakers in "Pitch Perfect" - after a viral TikTok video makes him a big hit in Germany. The clip, which also shows Jameela Jamil with an almost German accent, teases the hilarious journey Bumper goes on to revive his music career and achieve the fame he's always dreamed of.
If you recall, Bumper (spoiler alert!) left to join John Mayer as a backup singer at the end of the first "Pitch Perfect" film and returned in the sequel to work...

How cool is this?! We don't usually feature videos like this, but this time we have to make an exception and share it anyway. Andy Bailey (aka "Andymation") is a stop-motion animator at the indie studio Laika, who makes his own flipbooks in his spare time. Flipbooks are small paper books with illustrations on each page, so when you "flip" through them quickly the images come alive. It's an old school animation technique and it's very cool to see. He went all out this time and created a massive 658-page flipbook titled The Return of Grumpy Cloud. There's a plot and characters and lots of colors. The other great thing about this video is before he flips through the little book, he explains how he made it and gives a look at his creative process. Thanks to Kottke for the tip on this. Andy Bailey became a main character in the series “Modern Family,” and fans who followed his story are intrigued by the gentlemanly young man who has a remarkable affinity for sharing his comedic acting style with audiences, but as we’ve seen, he’s also quite capable of handling more serious acting situations with class and style. Prior to the show, Andy has quite a backstory. His father died of cancer when Andy was just 14 years old and he was left to become the man of the house. He was the person who had to make the decision to pull the
