Further to Marvel Studios filming certain sequences of "The Avengers" sequel, "Avengers: Age Of Ultron", in Cape Town, South Africa, reports continue to surface that Marvel Comics' superhero 'Black Panther' is introduced in the new film:
"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" hired South Africa-based background performer "extras" casting coordinator, J.P. van der Merwe for a shoot in Cape Town.
"...a lot of the sequel has to do with (The Avengers) place, not only in America, but in the world...", said the new film's writer/director Joss Whedon.
Filming in South Africa affords the Avengers an opportunity to seek out 'T'Challa' aka the 'Black Panther', whose homeland 'Wakanda' is the African nation whose main export is 'vibranium', a metal alloy that makes up the shield of 'Captain America', as well as sought by the villain 'Ultron' throughout various Marvel Comics.

"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is nearly upon us, and although Scarlett Johansson is currently swamped in praise for her work as "Her," she's got some avenging to do.
"Parade" caught up with the actress to talk about things like her upcoming wedding and her SodaStream commercials, but Johansson wanted to talk about "Avengers" instead.
"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" isn't due until 2015, and cast members are still being added to the line-up; in fact, it was announced just today that Thomas Kretschmann joined the cast as a big bad. Still, you can't stop the Marvel machine, and you definitely can't stop Joss Whedon, who, if you'll remember, casually filmed an adaptation of "Much Ado About Nothing" at his house while he was on vacation or something.
Johansson praised Whedon's script while also managing not to divulge any details.
"I think the script is dark and it's dry, it's got this amazing one-liner,...

We're just three months shy of potentially getting an unofficial look at The Avengers: Age of Ultron with filming scheduled to kick-off in late March. Though principal photography is set primarily in the United Kingdom, you may recall last year when Marvel Studios reportedly requested permission to shoot some of The Avengers sequel in Cape Town, South Africa. The nature of the shoot is still unknown, but South Africa may be one of several international settings in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Writer and director Joss Whedon revealed previously that “a lot of the sequel has to do with [the team's] place not only in America but in the world.” Of course, filming...
