Anthony Geary bid adieu to “General Hospital” on Tuesday after more than three decades of portraying Luke Spencer, taping his final episodes of the ABC soap. As might be expected, the farewell was an emotional one, with Geary’s co-stars pouring out their hearts on social media in tribute to their departing co-star. Ryan Carnes, who plays Lucas Jones on the series, posted a picture with Geary, calling him a “living legend.” Also Read: Genie Francis on 'General Hospital' Return, Jonathan Jackson and Off-Screen Relationship With Anthony Geary “On set send-off today at #Gh @GeneralHospital with the living #legend himself #AnthonyGeary,...

As a soap fan, I thought General Hospital’s 52nd Anniversary episode deserved some recognition. Today not only paid homage to the stars of the past who started a legacy, it also provided long-awaited answers about what caused the show’s most celebrated and recognizable character to break with reality. So the event which caused Luke Spencer to change so drastically was retold by older sister Patricia Spencer, portrayed by guest star Dee Wallace, and played out in black and white on the screen as Luke’s memories. Today’s episode was unique in several aspects. Firstly, the majority of it was shot in black and white, quite literally transporting fans back 52 years. Jason Thompson, who currently plays Patrick Drake, took on the role of legendary General Hospital doctor Steve Hardy, Elizabeth Webber’s potrayer Rebecca Herbst took on the role of Jessie Brewer, and Ryan Carnes took a break from playing Lucas Jones…...

Long-running daytime drama General Hospital, recently nominated for 28 Daytime Emmys, will commemorate its 52nd anniversary in its April 1 episode — 52 years to the day that the series debuted in 1963. Note: Spoilers are contained later in this article. It’s a collision of past and present with the episode. Acknowledging its past, the episode will revisit key scenes from the very first Gh episode, played out by current cast members. Blood Relatives
I’m having a problem connecting to this show because despite all the emotional turmoil in the lives of these characters, their reactions seem awfully muted. We finally got some reaction about the loss of his child from Oscar, and I thought the scene where he lamented he’ll probably never have another chance to have a baby was well done. But overall, I don’t get a sense of true loss from him.
And Thomas doesn’t seem to have any sort of reaction to this at all. He and Oscar are supposedly lovers and were planning this new life together with this baby, but they really haven’t discussed what happened. In fact, I really can’t recall any scenes of them interacting as a couple. And that seems unrealistic to me, as if there are beats in the story that are missing.

EastEnders
I’m glad Amira has finally gotten the message, given up on Syed and left town. Given that Syed cheated on her for over a year with Christian, ended their marriage to be with Christian and wanted nothing more than to be with Christian after Christian dumped him late last year, it’s pretty clear that he’s just not that into her. I just hope she doesn’t give him a hard time about finally getting a divorce and lets him see his daughter regularly without a hassle. Her character has worn out her welcome, and it’s time to move on. I will miss scenes of Christian and Amira being bitchy to each other though. That was always fun to watch.
As for Zainab finally confessing that she purposefully sent Yusef to his death, which led to Tamwar being seriously burned, it was a moment long in coming.

‘Tis the season for comic book publishers to change their logos, don’t you think? One would certainly believe it is given the frequency at which their coming. In a press released posted earlier today, indie comics publisher Oni Press has unveiled a new company logo that will grace all future issues and will most likely grace their digital content in the future.
Independent comics publisher Oni Press is adopting a brand new look! Now a respected mainstay with a dedication to creator-driven comic books, Oni Press entered the publishing game late in 1997, at a time when the comic industry was down and conventional wisdom had suggested it would never bounce back. Over the next decade-and-a-half, the company beat the odds, producing a consistently successful line of comics and graphic novels while adapting to expanding markets and new technologies. To honor this bold new future, Oni Press has reimagined its...

Scott Pilgrim publisher Oni Press has revealed a new company logo. The design, produced by art director by Keith Wood, replaces the Dave Gibbons-drawn emblem the firm has used since its inception in 1997. "Yep, for the first time since we started publishing in 1997, we've done a complete overhaul of our logo," said Oni Press editor-in-chief James Lucas Jones. "The original Oni Press logo was designed by the amazing Dave Gibbons and based on a small trinket that publisher Joe Nozemack's brother had brought back with him from a trip to Japan. "It's an iconic image that has served (more)...
