- A long time admirer of British iconic Actress Maggie Smith, she was cast by Speakeasy Prods. (Los Angeles) to be her French voice in "Becoming Jane", thus dubbing Dame Smith's character of "Lady Gresham" for all Airline French versions of the film.
- Auditioned for the part of "Cindy Williams" in the 2013 award-winning comedy "The Golden Scallop" starring James Cosmo. The film won the Audience Award at the 2013 Austin Film Festival as well as an award for Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking at the 2013 Newport Film Festival Award. Comedian Sarah Taylor from NBC's show "In Gayle We Trust" was eventually cast to play the role.

The movie, penned by Art Linson, starred Robert De Niro, John Turturro, Catherine Keener and Sean Penn. The role eventually went to Moon Bloodgood whose character can be seen as "Laura" in the final cut of the film.

- Was invited to tape for Greg McLean's film "Jungle" starring Daniel Radcliffe as real-life Yossi Ghinsberg, to play Radcliffe/Ghinsberg's mother. Brushed up her Hebrew and took additional weekly lessons to prepare for the role which eventually had to be cast and filmed directly out of Australia.

- Was invited to tape twice for the role of "Mme Parry" in the BBC One series "The Serpent" (2020).
- Is a big fan of Chilean Actress Paulina García, Scottish Actress Gerda Stevenson, and Irish Actress Fiona Shaw.
- Some of her favorite plays include Harold Pinter's "Betrayal", Martin McDonagh's "The Beauty Queen of Leenane", Gordon Steel's "Grow Up Grandad", Shakespeare's "Merry Wives of Windsor", "Othello", "Winter's Tale" and "Macbeth".
- Was considered for the role of the Human Being in "Torment". Melinda DeKay was eventually cast, but production was so impressed by Bruna's auditions that they offered her the role of the Psychic in "On the Fence".
