She has a knack for staying in the headlines, and Miley Cyrus got up-close and personal with one lucky fan during her gig in Phoenix on Thursday (February 27).
The “Wrecking Ball” babe invited Matt Peterson (the guy who invited her to go to prom with him last month) to join her onstage so she could serenade him with “Adore You.”
But before the song began, Miley talked about how she had a friend take her to prom only to get drunk and tell her that he was gay. She declared, “But that was alright because I’m a little gay also!”
And as Peterson knelt down to put Cyrus’ corsage on her wrist, she poked fun at ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth- “I was in this position once before, and it didn’t work out too well for me the last time a guy got on one knee. Hopefully, this will be better.

Congratulations to Ben McKenzie, who has been cast as the young Commissioner Gordon in the Fox drama Gotham. The show won’t feature Batman, but will have a young Bruce Wayne.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana has put hundreds of HIV patients in limbo after a decision to reject all third party checks to help pay premiums for the Affordable Care Act, including checks from the Ryan White Program, which is transitioning patients from Medicare to the Affordable Care Act. Bcbs says it’s just acting on direction from the government o avoid fraud, but the feds say that said guidance was never meant to apply to the Ryan White Care Program. As someone who benefited briefly from the Ryan White Program while I was unemployed, this hits close to home.

High School student Matt Peterson really wants to take Miley Cyrus to his prom. So much so that he made an adorable, now viral, video asking the 21-year-old pop star to his formal school dance. "I have been a fan of yours from the beginning. You've changed my life, and I want to repay you by giving you the best night of your life," Matt wrote alongside his prom invite. The teenager then recaps their special history together: In 2009, "Mr. Cyrus" (that's Matt's nickname) waited outside a KissFM studio at 3 a.m. for a chance to meet Miley—and he did. A few months later she gave him a shout out at her concert. Towards the end of the clip, he strips down naked with a foam...

Miley Cyrus and Arcadia High School student Matt Peterson have a lot in common: They both have no problem with public nudity (Miley posed naked for W magazine, you're about to watch Matt get naked in a minute). They both love talking about Miley Cyrus. And, hmm, that's enough. At least for what Matt has in mind: Prom. "I have been a fan of yours from the beginning. You've changed my life, and I want to repay you by giving you the best night of your life," Matt wrote alongside the video of his prom invite. Warning: Matt is 17-years-old. He is not legal. So mind your comments, pervy cougar types. In 2009, "Mr. Cyrus" (that's Matt's nickname) waited outside a KissFM...
