- Stacey's father, Dr. Steven Melman, was the first to use Prozac for animals, and is a world renowned veterinarian. He also created a line of products sold worldwide in vet clinics called DermaPet.
- Stacey was born and raised in Potomac, Maryland until she moved to LA to pursue her career in nutrition and acting.
