- Gave up notions of a professional sports career after a brief tryout with the Baltimore Orioles. "Instead of me, they signed some kid with a strange name like Pippen, Nippin, or something, he probably never made it". (Cal Ripkin).
- Favorite actors are Humphrey Bogart and Vincent Price. Wozniak befriended Price through his interest in film and art and was a contributor to a book on Price, "The Complete Films of Vincent Price" by Lucy Chase Williams.
- A huge fan of Mystery, Noir, and Hard Boiled Crime, Wozniak became chummy with the legendary Mike Hammer author Mickey Spillane who after seeing Wozniak dressed as a detective wrote, "You'd do great as Hammer! If the bullets didn't get you, the dolls would!". Wozniak has a large collection of personally inscribed first editions from the late author.
- Best advice toward acting came from something Robert Mitchum once told me, "When it's six o'clock, we all go home", meaning that in the end, film and acting, it's just a job, it's not who you are.
- A small arms enthusiast, Wozniak can field strip a Thompson Sub-Machine Gun blindfolded.
