- Eric A. Darken is an American musician and composer. As a child, Eric got his start in music from his grandfather. He went on to attend Oral Roberts University and worked for the Oral Roberts Television Network, working with Oral Roberts's son, Richard Roberts on the Richard Roberts Live (1984) show. As an adult, Eric Darken has written scores for TV and film, such as Dateline NBC (1992), 20/20 (1978), Fox Sports, the Discovery Channel, The NFL Network, National Geographic and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). - At the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards (2008), Darken won the award for Musician Of The Year in the "Specialty Instrument" category.
