The White House has finally responded to the Anthony Weiner scandal, and oh, what a response it was. “We have no comment on that story,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters at this afternoon’s daily briefing, inspiring a 105-word Politico article on the non-response. Meanwhile, Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz called for Weiner to resign. Schwartz, in addition to representing your blogger’s hometown (go Pa-13!), is a high-ranking official on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “Having the respect of your constituents is fundamental for a member of Congress,” she told Politico earlier this afternoon.
