- Scottie Jefferies is a versatile actor who can effortlessly transition between genres and roles. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and moved to San Antonio, TX, in 1981 when his father became Vice President at Valero Corporation after 20 years in business with legendary oilfield supply businessmen Dave Evans and Marvin Kunkle.
Scottie Played for Texas coaching legend John Ferrera at Theodore Roosevelt High School as a quarterback and one of the state's premier punters. In 1986, he entered Baylor University to study law and play football and was severely injured in a head-on collision at the end of his first year, resulting in the loss of his ability to read, write, and walk. Scottie's faith in God helped him overcome severe injuries and a prognosis that he would never function normally or complete his college degree.
Jefferies got the acting bug when he met now close friend Jason Fischer, who was starting production on a local independent film in 1998. Since then, he has worked on several productions, such as Friday Night Lights, The Good Guys, Machete, and more. He is known as a recurring star as sports agent Grant Halbert in the critically acclaimed Friday Night Lights and NBC's Chase, The Good Guys, Machete.

- Texas boy Scottie Jefferies Jr. was born in Corpus Christi, but moved to SA with his family in 1981. Just five years later, he graduated from Roosevelt HS, where he was coached by football legend John Ferrara. During his junior year, he scored the winning touchdown that knocked off Judson from its No. 1 spot. After injuries that led to the end of his football career, Jefferies went on to star in Friday Night Lights, Machete and other titles.
