- Dodie Brown is an American actor born and raised in Louisiana and is the youngest of three siblings. She developed her love for performing as a young actor with the Richland Players Theatre Group in musicals like Oklahoma, Oliver, and The Music Man. She graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1994 where she was a cheerleader. She also cheered for the Shreveport Mudbugs professional hockey team. In 2006, Dodie was cast by Director Frank Darabont in Stephen King's The Mist alongside her daughter, Taylor, who was six years old at the time. Since, Dodie has consistently worked, mostly in the Southeast in a variety of film and television productions. She is known to fully inhabit any character she portrays.
