Motörhead‘s rare cover of the Metallica classic “Enter Sandman” has been unearthed for Motörhead Day — the annual “8th of May” celebration of the late Lemmy Kilmister and company.
The track hails from a 1998 Ecw Wrestling compilation and was relegated to that CD for nearly 25 years. The cover has now been made widely available on streaming services and YouTube with a new animated music video that offers a Motörhead spin on the concept of the original Metallica clip.
The cover is a faithful rendition and highlights just how influential Motörhead were to bands such as Metallica and modern heavy metal in general. Lemmy’s interpretation is convincing enough that one could imagine him penning “Enter Sandman” in some alternate reality.
Metallica and Motörhead were close during Lemmy’s lifetime, with the former even playing Lemmy’s 50th birthday in 1995, all dressed up as the man himself under the moniker “The Lemmys.

A couple months ago, director Kevin Smith released his horror anthology KillRoy Was Here as an Nft. Now writer/director Jonas Odenheimer is bringing us a film that puts a horror twist on the concept of NFTs and crypto currency. The title of Odenheimer’s film is Nft, and a teaser trailer has just arrived online. You can check it out in the embed above.
Nft centers on
a group of crypto-savvy millennials who are trying to escape their 9-5s by flipping NFTs as a side hustle. After buying into a supposedly ‘cursed’ Nft collection, they begin experiencing mysterious occurrences and will now have to fight for their lives.
The film stars David Wayman (The Ledge), Mariah Nonnemacher (Terminator: Dark Fate), Durassie Kiangangu (Imperial Blue), Amelie Edwards (Neighbourhood Ties), Nobuse Jnr (South Beast), Jasmine Clark (The Wasteland of Education), newcomer Charlie Rich, and Najarra Townsend of Contracted, Wolf Mother,...

Preacher Season 4 Episode 5
In the world of Preacher, characters seem to be drawn into situations not based off of free will, but divine providence. As Eugene often says, God has a plan, and we're all just following his plan no matter how directionless we might feel during a particularly trying moment. Certainly, Eugene is part of some sort of plan, even if that plan is simply for him to pray over the victims of the Saint of Killers as he murders his way across the world in pursuit of Jesse Custer.
Of all the characters, only The Saint and Jesse have a definitive goal in mind. The Saint wants Jesse dead, Jesse wants to stop the end of the world.

The Wolfpack returns in "The Hangover Part III," which reunites stars Bradley Cooper (now an Oscar nominee, p.s.), Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis for the final entry in what has become a global franchise. ("The Hangover" and "The Hangover Part II" grossed over $1 billion worldwide.)
Following a rash of teases, the new "Hangover 3" trailer gives some more focus to the film's plot: After the death of his father, Alan (Galifianakis) goes on a road trip with Phil, Stu and Doug (Cooper, Helms and Justin Bartha), when the group is ambushed by a crime boss (John Goodman) looking for Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong). Wackiness ensues, as do music cues from Kanye West and Wolfmother, jokes about cock fighting and a cameo from Melissa McCarthy. "It all ends tonight," says Cooper in a moment of resigned exhaustion. Indeed.
"The Hangover Part III" is out in theaters on May 24. Watch the "Hangover 3" trailer above.

"We've been on a lot of adventures together, but it seems like you haven't learned anything." The time has come for The Wolf Pack to have their final dangerous adventure. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha are all back for the third and final installment in this unlikely franchise with The Hangover Part III. The first trailer doesn't really give up any of the plot, but we do get a first look at John Goodman and Melissa McCarthy in the film, and Wolfmother provides another track for the sequel. There's a prison riot, Chow as a police officer, a bunch of criminals and a giraffe. Yes, a giraffe. Here's the first trailer for Todd Phillips' The Hangover Part III from Warner Bros: The Hangover Part III is directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover, Old School) from a script he co-wrote with Craig Mazin (The Hangover Part II,...

The Hangover 2 soundtrack. In 2009 Todd Philips’ guy pal comedy The Hangover took a worldwide gross of over $467million. Put that into perspective: Scorsese’s Shutter Island took $200million less. Comedies? Superbad took $300million less. Jim Carrey’s Yes Man $240million less. Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, for my mind one of the best post-millenium comedies, took $47million and failed to recoup its budget. The Hangover, then, was successful. Commercially successful. Like Starbucks lattes, like Nike sneakers, it made money. But here’s a view not usually heard amongst all the wide-eyed praise constantly showered upon the film on the basis of its profitability – The Hangover is a formulaic misogynistic piece of populist dumbassery which treats convicted rapist and self-confessed woman hater Mike Tyson like Bill Cosby, which presents a world-view in which the only roles for women are as strippers or hookers or insane banshee girlfriends, in...

WaterTower Music has revealed the details for the soundtrack release of the comedy sequel The Hangover: Part II. The album includes 12 songs from the movie. Artists featured on the soundtrack include Wolfmother, Danzig, Billy Joel, and Curtis Mayfield. Also included are several on-screen performances from the film, including the Thai wedding band, Ska Rangers, covering I Ran and Just The Way You Are, Mike Tyson singing One Night in Bangkok, as well as the song Allentown, performed by Ed Helms’ character. None of Christophe Beck’s original score is featured on the album. The score for the first part was released closer to the film’s home video release, which makes a separate score album to come out later seem possible. The first track on the soundtrack for The Dilemma begs, “Don’t do it / Don’t you break my heart.” Unfortunately, the titular dilemma in The Dilemma revolves around cheating and infidelity. Sounds like heartbreak may be on the horizon despite the funky pleading from The Band that kick off this collection. As Ronny (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Kevin James) navigate the treacherous waters of what you do when you catch your best friend’s wife cheating on him, they do so to a rocking soundtrack packed with heavy hitters from Band of Skulls to Kiss to Wolfmother.

The Dilemma soundtrack. Increasingly it seems a line has been drawn when it comes to compiling soundtrack albums for studio comedy movies. A sexual line. Yes, that’s right. What we might pejoratively bracket as chick flicks or rom-coms – When in Rome or Valentine’s Day, say – have their accompanying records filled out with bubble bath ballads and light-footed pop numbers. Meanwhile, more man-centric movies – Hot Tub Time Machine, Due Date and yes, The Dilemma – invariably deliver a selection of riff-tastic Cro-Magnon rock. The sounds of a bloke drifting towards middle-age like the Mary Celeste drifting the ocean waves, fretting about that spare tyre bobbing round his midriff, the shiny ballroom floor on his crown getting bigger every day, and as a last resort, a last desperate grope in the direction of his fading youth, taking himself out for a drive and listening to something Really Loud on his car stereo.

One particular track on the soundtrack to Due Date, the new road trip comedy with Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, exerted a curious fascination for me – This is Why I’m Hot, by the modest Mims. Mind, it wasn’t so much the song itself as one specific lyric, which (if I heard it correctly) sounded very much like: “I’m representing York”. Now, if that is indeed the correct interpretation, then I can only wholeheartedly applaud the sentiment. It’s about time the northern cities of the United Kingdom were celebrated in contemporary song. One minor quibble would be Mims’ neglect to devote a verse to the prodigious merits of the Jorvik Viking Centre, but you can’t have everything, can you?

Due Date
Directed by: Todd Phillips
Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis, Juliette Lewis, Jamie Foxx, Danny McBride, Michelle Monaghan
Running Time: 1 hr 40 mins
Rating: R
Release Date: November 5, 2010
Plot: A man (Downey Jr.) rushing to get home to his almost in-labor wife (Monaghan) embarks on a wild impromptu road trip with an aspiring TV actor named Ethan (Galifianakis) after they are both put on the “No-Fly” List.
Who’S It For? Fans of The Hangover will be more welcoming to the rampant stupidity of Due Date, but even they will agree that the previous Todd Phillips/Galifianakis pairing wasn’t as overly lazy as this one.
Expectations: With Galifianakis given more of a main role as opposed to his utilization in The Hangover, I was hoping that this film would give him plenty of leeway to present himself as a comedic force with serious unique potential. However, proud usage...
