Originally born in Beijing, Leah descends from an artist family. She
was growing up in Haidian District, the most cultural and vivid area in
the capital city of China. She immigrated with her family to Ohio, US
at the age of ten. She later attended New Albany High School and then
John Hopkins University, and graduated with dual-master in Biology and
International Relations.
Leah stepped into performing arts first as runway model. After co-writing and co-staring the Ponkutsu Park (Ponkutsu is the Japanese street slang that refers to a seedy location that has become overrun with methamphetamine addicts) in 2006, she switched into finance industry by starting as a Summer Research Associate in Credit Suisse in New York. She had also once taken a Junior Partner role in Songlin Group, an international business consultancy specialized in China.
Leah is now working and living in Hong Kong with expertise in Greater China stock market.
