When I think back on the ABC fairytale series Once Upon a Time, I first and foremost picture the “requel” season’s Cinderella 2.0 on a motorcycle.
Just kidding; no I don’t. And I’d argue that no Ouat fan does. And yet that is the hero/landing page image that Hulu chose to trumpet Ouat‘s return to the platform, which now shares custody of the series with sister streamer Disney+.

Many shows use their series finale as an opportunity to bring back characters from the past and “Rest in Peace,” the last episode of The Walking Dead, was no exception. The zombie drama’s final hour indeed brought back some familiar faces both in flashback form and in the present. You can read about that particularly thrilling latter passage over here so you don’t get spoiled in this space. But the finale came with some other cameos that you may have missed.
No, we’re not talking about the fact that Chandler Riggs (formerly Carl Grimes) turned up on set and got to be a background extra in an Alexandria scene. Nor are we talking about the fact that series producer and this episode’s director Greg Nicotero portrayed a zombie yet again (you can see him in the image accompanying this article). We’re talking about some cameos...

This article contains spoilers for The Walking Dead season 11 episode 19.
Over a decade ago, The Walking Dead started out as a series depicting the horrors of a post-apocalyptic world in which re-animed humans have come back after death to eat the living. This is all very typical of the zombie genre, but fans were quickly treated to what made the show different, and actually quite revolutionary compared to its rivals. After the initial threat of a walker (the most common name for the zombies) or two has been snuffed out, humans have to worry about recreating a world that is habitable for the survivors. This quickly leads to the most realistic epiphany in the series: people are the biggest threat to each other, end of the world or not, because humans are often inherently selfish and weak.
There were a few characters in the first two seasons who epitomized this idea,...

So Cold the River opens with former hotshot documentary director Erica Shaw making a slideshow for someone’s funeral. It’s about all the work she can get since one of her films proved a convicted killer’s innocence. Only for him to slaughter his entire family as soon as he was released.
One of those slide shows leads to her being hired by Alyssa Bradford to shoot a biography of her father, Campbell Bradford. With a bottle of Pluto Water, mineral water with alleged healing properties as her only clue, she heads to the town of West Braden Indiana to begin shooting. Once there she quickly realizes this isn’t going to be as easy as it seems when Anne McKinney the self-appointed local historian...

"He made his name in blood. No one could touch him." Saban Films has unveiled an official trailer for an indie horror mystery film called So Cold the River, arriving on VOD and in theaters this March. Described as a "bone-chilling, supernatural thriller," adapted from the book by the bestselling author of "Those Who Wish Me Dead." The story revolves around documentary filmmaker Erica Shaw who's hired to profile ailing millionaire Campbell Bradford, whose sole clue is an antique bottle filled with water from a local spring. While staying at a luxury resort in town, Erica meets a descendant of Bradford's and learns of a familial curse of mysterious suicides and deaths, and as she begins drinking from the antique bottle, she is subjected to terrifying visions and unleashes an unspeakable evil. Starring Bethany Joy Lenz, with Katie Sarife, Deanna Dunagan, Andrew J. West, & Alysia Reiner. Looks better than it sounds.

Greek clearly has a special place in Amber Stevens West's heart. Not only was the Freeform series her breakout role, but it's also where she met her husband Andrew J. West. Though their characters didn't end up together on the show, a real-life love story blossomed off screen. The couple officially tied the knot in December 2014, and have since welcomed a daughter named Ava and are currently expecting their second child.
Naturally, with the series holding such a special significance to Stevens West's personal life, she's excited to eventually be able to share that experience with her little girl. While discussing her latest series Run the World, Stevens West admitted she's eager to watch Greek with her daughter when she's older. "Greek is important to show her because that's where mom and dad met," she said. "I think that'll be really awkward for her. Our first kiss was on camera.

When Andrew Lincoln stepped away from The Walking Dead part way through season 9, the TV series not only lost its lead but a hugely talented performer who had given his all to the show since it began. Thankfully, the British star hasn’t said goodbye to the role of Rick Grimes forever and will return for his own movie trilogy. Still, it’s a blow not to have Rick on the series anymore. Likewise, the cast and crew miss having the actor as well, who’s known for being an all-round good guy.
A friend to all he may be, but it sometimes hurts to be playing Lincoln’s enemy on screen. Andrew J. West portrayed Gareth, leader of the Terminus gang, in season 5 and he found out the hard way how “intense” Lincoln gets when he’s acting. West revealed to the Talk Dead To Me podcast that Andy...

The Walking Dead has never shied away from gore, and season 5 has to be one of its grisliest ever years. If you need a reminder, that season saw Rick Grimes and company encounter the Terminus gang, nicknamed “Termites,” who turned out to be vicious cannibalistic monsters. Things got very bloody on both sides, as Rick’s lot repaid the Terminus group in kind by brutally wiping them out once they got free.
Things were so brutal, in fact, that Andrew J. West, who played Terminus leader Gareth, wondered whether the episodes he was in would even be allowed to air as shot. While speaking on Skybound’s Talk Dead To Me podcast, West recalled filming some of the horrific scenes from the season premiere, including when Gareth and his men slit a stray survivor’s throat, which led him to question whether any of this visceral footage could be used.

That was the hour we've all been waiting for.
The curse was finally lifted on Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 20 and the residents of Hyperion Heights are now fully aware of who they really are.
Henry was dealt a raw deal with his cursed backstory, so it was nice to see him finally relieved of the burden of thinking his family was dead and buried.
Despite Henry being torn between fact and fiction, I realized that I'd forgotten all about his family supposed dying.
The plot was put on the back burner for much of Once Upon a Time Season 7 as Henry tried (and mostly failed!) to get closer to Jacinda.
Andrew J. West's turned in a great job during the scene in which Henry complained about his past, and that he had lost his family.

“Once Upon a Time” ends its run in May with a series finale, “Leaving Storybrooke,” that will see the return of one-time stars Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas. They all left the show last year at the end of season 6, after Morrison’s character, Emma Swann, got her happy ending. She married her long-time love Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) as her parents Snow White (Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Dallas) looked on lovingly.
Morrison has been seen only once in this season 7 reboot, which jumped ahead several decades and focused on her now grown-up son Henry (Andrew J. West) and his daughter Lucy (Alison Fernandez). Tapped for a return appearance in the third last installment, episode 20, is Jared Gilmore as young Henry who will figure prominently in flashbacks.

It's time to wish upon a star for a happy ending. The Once Upon a Time TV show will end after seven seasons on ABC. Last month, during TCA winter press tour, ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said she was "cautiously optimistic" about a season eight renewal. While no one is outright saying Once Upon a Time is cancelled, it is ending, and the network seems to have made the decision, not creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis. An ABC fairy tale drama, the seventh season of Once Upon a Time stars original cast members Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, and Colin O’Donoghue, alongside newcomers Andrew J. West, Gabrielle Anwar, Dania Ramirez, Alison Fernandez, and Mekia Cox. It is a reboot of the story fans watched during the series’ first six installments, which also featured Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, with Ginnifer Goodwin...

ABC is pulling the plug on “Once Upon a Time” after seven seasons. Co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis had tried to take the fantasy show in a new direction this year after losing most of the original cast. While hard-core fans followed “Ouat” from its traditional Sunday time slot to Friday, the audience was not large enough to merit renewal by the Alphabet network.
This reboot built on the season 6 two-hour finale, which had introduced two new characters including a young man who has lost hope and now lives as a recluse (Andrew J. West) and his daughter Lucy (Alison Fernandez) who has her own book of fairy tales. He was a grown-up version of Henry (Jared Gilmore), the boy whose search for his birth mother Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to the dismay of his adoptive mother Regina (Lana Parrilla) kicked off the series back in 2011.

Once Upon a Time is shaking things up this season, and part of that includes some new faces. While we certainly miss the original cast, fans are taking quite a liking to the adult Henry Mills, played by Andrew J. West. Not only is the actor incredibly talented, but he's also pretty adorable. When he's not giving us heart eyes on screen, he's making us swoon over his picture-perfect romance with actress Amber Stevens. Henry Mills may not be a prince, but Andrew J. West is absolutely charming. RelatedWho Is Andrew J. West? Get to Know Once Upon a Time's Latest Heartthrob...

Hey, "Once Upon A Time" fans. We recently got an official press release from ABC for the upcoming "Once Upon A Time" episode 4 of this current 7th season. The press release includes a brief preview description of some of the things we can expect to see in the new episode. There's some intense flashback scenes and more. To start things off, they let us know that episode 4 is entitled, "Beauty." In their main description, they revealed that it will be Halloween in the new Hyperion Heights town. In light of this fact, Victoria is going to force Ivy to take Lucy out for a trick-or-treat run. So, it doesn't sound like anything too wild will go on with that particular storyline.
