The Call of Duty community went wild recently after rumors of future Call of Duty installments surfaced on social media. Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of chatter about a potential Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sequels. However, it has been confirmed that all these rumors are fake.

Visceral and VondyisPog, two popular CoD data miners, claimed that two CoD projects named “Anvil” and “Devilwood” are in the works. Anvil was supposed to be a Ghosts-themed title from Infinity Ward, and Devilwood was expected to be a Sledgehammer title based on Advanced Warfare. Unfortunately, it has now been confirmed that both of these projects don’t exist.

Developers of Immortals of Aveum, Ascendant Studios have reportedly furloughed a large percentage of its employees. The news became public through a LinkedIn post a couple of days back when Principal Engineer at Phoenix Labs, Kris Morness, who had formerly also held the same position at Ascendant.
2023 was a year dominated by an unfortunate number of layoff news from several gaming studios that lasted all year and the trend continued earlier this year as well. While being laid off was bad enough, getting furloughed is worse, though Morness did speculate there were not many left in the studio in the first place.

Kicking San Diego Comic Con 2023 off into high gear was Thursday evenings Fandom Party held at the Hard Rock Hotel. The party featured some amazing entertainment from K-pop cuties Nct Dojaejung an gave us an inside look at the highly anticipated EA [Electronic Arts] game release “Immortals Of Aveum”.
The game which suffered a minor release date change will now be available on August 22, 2023. The delay was due to the fact that the creators needed just a bit more time to make sure that the game was fully optimized and ready to go for fans, and after having a chance to witness some of the game play scenes during the Fandom Party, it looks absolutely stunning.
